Awesome vid! The kraken is next on my list. Moving my PC to the nzxt s340 elite and adding the kraken x62 as an intake. Struggling to decide what my 2 exhaust fans must be. Struggling between the be quiet silent wings 3, corsair ml or the nzxt aer rgb. Any tips? Thanks
I really enjoyed this review, and I like how you didn't pull punches for the shortcomings of the case, putting a clear warning for people who might look for a slightly more user friendly case, or don't like some cheap materials (i.e. the power button and cable clips)
im getting this case with one 120m water cooler too. the bottom fan blowing out? was sure best was to have the bottom one blowing inn, then the 2 on the side top and top blowing out?
I ordered mine (matte black/black) on Amazon two days ago, and it's coming in later on tonight. I can't wait to ditch my old case (Zalman Z9 Neo White) and assemble my build in the S340 Elite!

Will this case accept the EVGA SuperNOVA P2 850W, Dimensions (H x W x L) 3.35 x 5.9 x 6.5" (85 x 150 x 165 mm) ? Not finding info on the NZXT website. Building with Asus Gene VIII, i7-7700K, Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 water cooler and Samsung 960 NVMe 512gb. Haven't figured out the GPU or memory yet but I may go with the EVGA 1050 since it's cheap and I don't need high horsepower at this point in time. Hackintosh is the final goal hence the 170 chipset. 32gb-64 gb planned. Haven't built a system in 7 years and haven't been following the latest and greatest hardware but the mobo seems to work well with Mac OS. Was waiting to see if High Sierra supports NVMe and I read last night that they think it will. Thanks for any ideas you can think of. Never ran MacOs before so we'll see how it goes.
Great review! Keep grinding the videos, also try putting some long tail keywords in your tags (i.e "nzxt s340 elite review", "white s340 elite unboxing and review", etc.) using long tail keywords really helped some of my videos to be more easily discovered!

Hmm second reviewer who said the power button wiggles, wonder if its like that on every sample. I have a older H440 i wouldnt mind stealing parts from if that could fix the button (not wobbly on h440).

I have a problem, what is the length between the front panel and the cable management?
Wondering how thick the radiator I can put in.
I just installed an Arctic Liquid Freezer 240mm in this case. Fans are 25mm thick and the radiator is 38mm thick and it just fits.. A thicker radiator is going to cause problem with the cable managment bar

what i was wondering is how are you supposed to get your drivers if they are on discs since this case doesn't have a spot for an optical drive
you can download drivers off the internet from the manufacturer's website.

I removed the cable management bar to allow for push pull configuration, and still kept the cables clean. If anyone wants pics let me know.

Cool video. I think the point of the plate on the PSU is to allow removal after with just those thumbscrews, and to have it look like the rest of the back. I'm ok with an extra step for that.
Yeah that is the point but I just wasn't a fan of it, but different people can have different opinions
The ten extra seconds of work is because they put a cover over the PSU on the inside, makes sense. Opinion or not.
In that case is a Corsair H115i Extreme Performance Water Cooler 280mm ??

I have the same one, still need the hue plus, I already have the kraken x62 water cooler.
I've thought about getting the hue+ but I just cant justify spending $60 on leds when I only have a gtx 960

Only thing I HATE about this case is the "thumbscrews" which you need a screwdriver for, im 6 foot 180 pounds and still cant do it lol.

the only reason im getting this instead of the s340 is because it shows the ssd
The s340 can show your ssd's just not on the side of the shroud, only the top
u just gotta flex that 120gb kingsgate ssd
I went to install my ekwb p280 280mm rad and vardar 140 in this case and sadly it does not fit. the rad is too thick by a few mm. even with the cable management bar removed it will not fit unless i shave the cable management bar seat. sad face.

the predator would fit when you have some slim fans, right?
only rad that fits this case is slim. it barely fit with my res 100 revo 5
i did some research... look what i found, i think it is a 240. but in term of thickness it should be the same?

I didn't even screw in my HDD I just set it in there and connected the sata cables

The h440 is a great case when you need a lot of drives but I prefer the s340 because its smaller
