I spend a couple of hours meal prepping every week which saves so much time and money!🙌🏻 I like to meal prep for 3-4 days, so I don’t need to eat the same foods every day of the week☺️
Just a reminder that we are all different and need different amounts of food💚 It’s recommended to eat between 0.8 - 2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, depending how active your lifestyle is☺️ I’m currently trying to build muscle, so aiming for 80-100g of protein💪🏻

I’m curious about your focus on 100grams of protein. Is that what we are supposed to eat each day for a healthy diet?
I am so glad to have found your channel! I’m 27 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Definitely need more protein to.

At least it was found early, you might get to carry your baby the full 40 weeks 💕 I suddenly developed gestational diabetes at about 32 weeks and it progressed rather quickly so when it was found my baby had already grown so much that I had to deliver her at 38 weeks 😬
Wish you good luck! I know people who have had high sugar during pregnancy and controlled it by diet. And also people who had GD yet delivered naturally. Determination is the key ❤ Hope it works for you
I had GD during pregnancy and honestly you'll be grand! Follow your 'food plate', more veggies & protein than anything else, don't forget about fats, try walking after meals if you're blood sugar is high. I was super taken care of over here in the UK and my baby's progress was watched carefully. I was induced and gave birth at 38 weeks but it ended up he was a super small baby at 6.5 pounds. He's a very happy healthy 1 year old now ❤

Just wanted to say i tried the tortilla pizza a few days ago (without chicken thiugh bc i didnt have any) and it was delicious! it was my first time trying to make one and ill definitly add it to my list now

Heyy new subscriber here! Absolutely Love your content. No hate but as a doctor I just wanted to let you know that more protein doesn’t necessarily mean more good. A person on average needs only 0.8g protein per kg of their body weight per day. Taking in Excess protein on a long term basis will only cause harm to your kidneys and other organs. So make sure you eat everything in moderation to remain healthy! Much love ❤️
Most doctors get little training in nutrition, unfortunately.
Did they also taught you to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs when a patient is metabolically ill to cover up the symptoms instead of fixing the root cause of the illness with natural herbs and diet?? Oh I bet they didn’t, because they want to keep us unhealthy to stuff their pockets!
Ok but if you weigh more than 125lbs than you will need 100g of protein at least
@@hashimotoqueen7227 on average a 125lbs individual would need only 45.7g of protein per day. It can increase depending on their activity levels. But this is the recommended amount per day.

Those oats have to be a 1000+ calories. The ones I make are 20% the size and are like 400 calories.
That’s what I was thinking! A quarter cup dry is like 150 calories
Also the 1 tbsp of chia seeds are 75kcal with 2.5g of protein. Cocoa powder 1 tbsp is 75kcal

It's her natural accent cut with some ASMR flair and it's simultaneously oddly satisfying & annoying making for an addicting combo. I want to fall asleep to it and also gag her, making it so emotionally evocative I want to keep listening just to figure it out but never quite do. Great for marketing, she probably knows a bit of psychology and has a unique spirit.

just letting you all know, adding honey is nearly the same effect on your blood sugar levels as granulated white/brown sugar. Honey is an added sugar. The main reason why honey is healthier, besides it's healing effects (e.g. on sore throats, etc), is because of its additional nutrition which sugar doesn't have at all. Its glycemic index is lower but it's barely even noticeable. But yes it is still healthier and more beneficial. Sugar is fine to use instead especially when pairing it with high fiber meals like many of her examples and using it in a reasonable amount. Not like your average store bought processed goods.

Great meals but be aware of protein overconsumption, which is harmful to health.
100g of protein is nowhere near protein overconsumption
protein overconsumption is a myth... there is no recorded negative effects of high consumption of protein
@@ChrisketIt is, you saying otherwise is also harmful. For a woman who seems to be fairly petite, excessively eating more than 100 grams of protein EVERY DAY is way too much for her body to handle. You only need 0.8g on average of protein per kg of your weight.
She really doesn’t need to make special hummus so it’s extra high in protein. Even if she did try to eat 100g of protein on special occasions to build muscle, eating this much protein on a daily basis will do her body more harm than good. Aside from the mental implications of all her recipes needing to be high in protein, apparently.
@@elisian6319I know she’s a figure skater from her profile on IG, but does she do that everyday or just as a Bobbie, and does she have a workout routine as well? Because if she’s just eating a bunch of protein and not working out then it is too much
@elisian6319 that's the key word. You only NEED .8g/kg bodyweight of protein. That's just the very bare minimum to exist. If you are in any way active that number goes up.
Consuming even 1g per lbs or 2.2g per kg is still considered safe
