WPL Brushless motor with reduction gear

- on this video, i just want to inspired all of the people who want build RC WPL or MN use brushless motor.
but it have some issues about the pinion gear is not turning around with shaft motor, im still trying to fix the pinion gear so can't lost turning again with shaft motor.
any suggestion?

@@terrycampbell5503 i get the motor from lazzada, online shop :) and for the reduction gear im use from afftermarket single speed gearbox

What's the distance between the 2 screw mounting on the metal gearbox to motor? Thanks.
its depending what you use rpm of the reducer gear. for example long distance of 100 rpm and 300 rpm is different.

Great video. I've got my eye that remote controller but want like a six channel for extra lights a winch and maybe turn the truck into a topper dumper as well.and do you have a link or website to purchase these motors and receivers and esc and servo and whatever makes it completely proportional. ,wow have several wpl's I want to completely upgrade to the limits.

For this mid do you always need the reduction gear?
yes off course, different case if i have a lower kv on the motor. my big problem is the size of this motor can its 370, i'm not have many option
Any chance to make speed around 30-35km/hour like a rally car? Any ideas?
use planetary/gear reduction 400 or 500 rpm and then use brushless motor 4500 kv
The brushless gives more speed but I think they are not good for torque, what advantage you experience with this mod?
yep that's right, but on this reducer 100 rpm it have give more torque than speed. its different case if use reducer 300 rpm or more, sure it give more speed for your rig
In theory, you want brushless because they are more efficent. More power output and less battery consumption. The added drag of the extra geared gearbox might take away from the efficient gains when measured at the wheels

@@slowcustom SO Ive done the mod and will put out a video about it but have the same pinion gear issue. I am thinking about getting it welded onto the shaft.
@@RandomProjectswithSam i've same that issue too, when im welding the gear into motor shaft. i use hot glue at outer circle for saving the tooth gear, good luck for trying welding that gear :)

i used motor 390 but pinion break, i oder new pinion same your review but diameter bigger old one. how to fix. Tks
im so sorry can reply now, if the pinion inner diameter is bigger than the old pinion. try using the ring inside inner diameter or use welding/ brass welding, the ring is for prop/fid and the welding is for strengthen pinion gear into motor shaft

hehehe...nah ini bagus komen nya. iya memang sebenarnya pinion bawaannya retak lalu patah, kemudian saya ganti pinionnya dan tetap patah juga.
dan kalo memang ingin main brushless ya pake pinion yg besar sih bagusnya.

Anybody know if the gearbox will take a 1/16 12mm pinion gear instead of using a spacer bearing??
yes it is, on this video. now i has create another new one on my RGT 136161 with a brushless motor 3600 kv. maybe i'll upload the video next week :-)

@@keldonator yes, about 2 years later i've welding pinion on the motor shaft. You just need welding a little on the end point of shaft motor, dont too much welding 😊
Hi Om 👋🏻 saya ada soalan nak tanya ,sekarang saya pakai motor single speed 370 dekat C24, kalau saya upgrade motor nya ke 25A 4800KV bisa gak?dan perlu masok dengan sekali reduction gear? Atau terus ke gearbox nya aja seperti video yang om buat 1 lagi tu ..

jika nak pasang motor 4800 kv dan esc brushless 25A, baiknya pakai reduction gear. karena jika tak pasang reduction gear maka tak akan ada torsi, tanpa reduction gear = speed only

nope, the size is 370 motor. you can search surrpass hobby 2430 motor at onlineshop

what ended up being the problem?
The teeth of gear inside reduction gear has broken, i think because too small size.

how big is that motor?
motor outer diameter : 24 mm, length : 30 mm.
Is the pinion gear 13t 5mm ?
nope...it's 12t 5mm

@@adityabarale3609 Yep it's Surpass hobby 2845 motor bro, at the end the pinion gear always loss from as motor. now that's combo and also gear box already bought by fani hendri channel. you can see that brushless motor run normally, he installed into wpl with blue FJ cruiser Body
Om recomend motor 540/550 brushed dong om, biar pnp ke gearbox seperti diatas om

motor surpass hoby yg kode 2435, ukurannya sama seperti motor 370. perubahannya hanya pada shaft motor dipotong. gear pinion dipindahkan dari motor bawaan ori wpl

not too fast, because i use about 100 rpm reduction gear. but it have a big torque 😊
I see, what the ratio between the input shaft to the output shaft, I'm about to replace my 370 motor with 2430 BLDC motor is that possible to be done without any modifications??
@@teddysuryadikusuma9307 is depend the hole size on pinion gear. sometimes the shaft motor is smaller than the hole on pinion gear

gak bisa om, beda diameternya. klo mau pasang brushless lebih mudah di gearbox dual speed, karena gear reducer dlmnya kecil2 kalo di gb single speed
Saya pake gear box 2 speed. Itu kalo saya pake, brurhless 2430 pake gear pinion 8T bwaan dinamo 370 bisa gak langsung pasang? Soalnya ukuran saft dinamo 370 1.97mm. Kalo bruhless 2430 2mm. BingungNya dsitu om.
@@haeryoboro5828 bisa om. dinamo brushless 2430 diameter shaft nya 2mm, perbedaan 0,03 mm gak masalah. tgl pasang gear pinion 8T yg dari bawaan 370 dualsped nya ke dinamo 2430

dinamo surpass hobby om. sekarang dah ganti ke 3300 kv yg warna biru, karena dinamo ini putarannya sangat kencang jadi torsi nya kurang

nope...u can see it this motor + reduction gear and also the gearbox on fani hendri channel. it can be work normally, this brushless combo is not mine anymore my friend
