    Cool demo, that rig sounds so pissed off. Keep doing what you do man, the type of videos you put out are very valuable to those of us trying to get an honest opinion from someone who also knows their stuff.

    Have the amp and I use the gain at 1-2 o'clock, less bass and more mid. But lately, I use the FX for my tonex pedal and om friking years it sounds great. I have the engl v30 4x12 cab and the 4x12 V60 cab and I like more the V60 more, don't know why but it rips better. Very good video as usual my dude. You rock 🤘🤘🤘

    Dude, great video. I live the Fireball 100! I have one and I instantly was in love the moment it arrived. The built in gate is sooo nice. I play it through a marshal lead1960 which I replaced the speakers with 8 ohm Mesa V 30’s which I ordered directly from Mesa. It sounds soo rad. Great video man!

    I was trying to decide on this amp and the stealth. Now I know the fireball beats the shit outta the stealth. I was curious how the gate worked and the fact it can let you know if your tubes are going out is perfect. Killer video man! I'd still boost it but i boost everything.
    This amp is just on point

    Man I've got to say, if you haven't done a shootout between that ENGL and the EVH EL34, I would be EXTREMELY interested to see that because I've narrowed my next amp purchase down to one of those two but the agony of indecision is real. Cheers my brother, I dig what you're doing.

    I have the EVH Stealth. Love that beast. But the 2x12 cab with the G12H speakers sucks IMO. I run the Captor X and use the MESA DynIR through 2 FRFRs. Which tells me that I'm going to get a MESA cab sometime. My wife doesn't like that too much😂

    From what I'd heard from ENGL, the bright switch is only for the clean channel and doesn't have any real effect on the lead gain. Conversely, the bottom is for the lead and doesn't have any real effect on the clean channel.

      @@jordansguitarchannel3809 No worries, man. Happy to contribute and thanks for the raw, unapologetic demo. This amp is a straight up beast and you made that aspect shine. \m/
      BTW, about the bright switch. Here's the description from the ENGL Fireball 100 manual.
      "4 Bright
      This feature boosts the upper end of the high frequency range for the Clean channel. Its intensity
      decreases as gain settings increase."

    I have the same amp and cab, and I bought that attenuator, but it sounds fuzzy and hissy when I plug it into the attenuator jack and use it with an OD. It doesnt sound too bad without an OD, but it still hisses a little bit. Do you have a similar experience with this?

    • @jordansguitarchannel3809
      @jordansguitarchannel3809  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do with the EVH, but not with my Engl. I run a noise gate through the loop to get rid of the hiss because I’m always running an overdrive.

      @@jordansguitarchannel3809 your noise gate is run through the effects loop? I have one, but it’s just in front of the amp.

    • @jordansguitarchannel3809
      @jordansguitarchannel3809  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah it’s ran through the four cable method. So basically two inputs go to the send and return of the fx loop and the others go to the pedals and to the guitar input. Check out google and TH-cam, there’s some videos showing it and I’m working on one to show you how to hook it up.
