they could've done so many more anti-materiel rifles, WW2 was literally the era of AT rifle innovation, PTRS, PTRD, Solothurn S-18/100, Lahti L-39, Type-97 Auto Cannon, etc
Yugoslav M1933 Protivoklopni karabin is interesting one. Gun is basicly a WW1 Gewehr M1918 but the gun was able to fire what is basicly a 13mm HEAT (these bullets didnt loose any penetration value over distance) with reports that it was used with great success on Rupnik Line against italy
Given the power range of 20mm semi automatics like the Solothurn and type 97 being a step from the rest, these could be even reserved for battlefield pick ups
Fun fact: N. Howell, the designer for the Howell Automatic Rifle, tried to propose his rifle conversion again during ww2 but for an anti-aircraft role for the British Home Guard, but it was denied.
Considering how tight fisted the beauracracy was around British Defense funding, it's no surprise. I mean shit, the Mosquito one of the most iconic planes of WW2 for its speed, agility and cheap production cost was denied twice by the British Armed forces, until they physically couldn't produce more metal planes.
@@wastelande81799 Dice completely dueced up the game and its delivery, and when it failed to meet sales expectations EA pulled the plug and moved everyone to 2042. They did the exact same thing to 2042, and will do the same again for the next one
Fun fact: The Browning Hi-Power was the only weapon produced in any real numbers (as far as I’m aware) for both sides of World War Two. After the factory producing them in Belgium was captured by German forces, they resumed production, meaning some German soldiers carried these pistols
I was very bummed the Hi Power was never implemented, especially since it was featured in key art for some of the cancelled expansions. Given the handgun meta heavily favored the two revolvers, having a high capacity semiauto would've given that class of handgun some legs.
I love the idea of keeping the Fedorov avtomats stats the same. In Bf1 it is one of the most powerful weapons and in Bf5 it would just be a middle of the road average gun. It really would show the improvements made in technology between ww1 and ww2
For the same reason I wish bf5 keep horses, but without any damage reduction meaning they would be very vulnerable. It would have been great to show how much has changed (even tho horses in bf1 are way too tanky and Calvary was already outdated in ww1).
The 6.5x55mRC Arisaka cartridge is actually surprisingly decent, even by WWII standards. Similar to the Krag, it just coincidentally happens to have enough powder to remain relevant.
@@codylego Cavalry was NOT outdated by WWI. Even in WWII they were invaluable assets for reconnaissance work; in WWI, they were fully applicable as frontline units. Cavalry is a terrifying weapon if you're on your feet and don't have a pole arm to defend yourself. When a 1 ton animal is running you down with a lance or cavalry carbine (Berthier for instance), you turn and run.
@@codylego Especially if lancer regiments had been implemented. I know there's little evidence to support any remaining lancer regiments in French or Polish Service, but it still would have been cool.
Yeah, it really came into its own. Probably close to my favorite BF game, behind BF1. By the end of its life cycle, it was probably the best multiplayer game out there
Dear Professor, I bring news of footage available for the Webley Revolver with the Pritchard bayonet. The game Verdun, a realistic style WWI shooter, features it. I would absolutely recommend it if you would like some footage of it in the future. Here's to hoping DICE does something!
I think an interesting way of making the Mosin unique would be adding an "Obrez" specialization that saws off the guns barrel, making it function like the Obrez from bf1. Giving the scout class a sort of "shotgun" like weapon for cqc
A fun specialisation for a ptrs41 is the dish magazine that was used with it while being mounted on a helicopter. I can't for the life of me find any documents of it, but I could swear that I have a picture of it somewhere. Obviously, it being used in conjunction with a helicopter might put the dish mag's date of production a bit after ww2, but something like that hasn't stopped Battlefield before.
The nagant revolver was actually extremely popular among most actual combat units who could get their hands on it. The tt-33 didnt have a safety, and the soviets began to somewhat distrust it, many veterans recommending the older pistol and many newer soldiers claiming the modernized pistol was dangerous and pointless. Its not like it was everywhere but those who could get one often wanted one. So it wouldnt be odd at all to see them in use! Great news for nerds like us
Oh dear lord, 1 hour and 42 minutes of peak just dropped Edit: this video helps me personally, outside of BFV, because I'm trying to take inspiration from BF1 and BFV for my video game mods, so letting me know what may be popular helps me prioritize stuff, lol
Please take me to the parallel universe where we got the infomercials version of BFV and got the extra 50 guns by 'calling now.' If these were in the game... Well, to be frank as a New Zealander gun nut, I'd just main the Charlton as lord forbid it's only in 3 games; 2 of which it's mirrored and the third is grindy F2P hell, but I'd certainly rock things like a full auto AVS-36 for maximum high risk CQC damage, or belt-fed German machine pistols. Again, the depth you went into making this video was fantastic. Although I feel like anyone can be like: "What if X weapon was in Y game?," you really showcase your passion for both real world firearms, and knowledge of BFV by not only introducing the weapon, but even its potential stats, niches and specialisations. The M1895 Nagant carbine and Sten MK6 are probably the best examples of this: Reworking the reload of one of them and introducing multiple ways of implementing the other. (On that note, I like the idea of doing it how one of the Wolfenstein games did it where the suppressed Sten was more powerful, accurate and stealthy than the MP40, but it overheated after a few shots. It'd be fun as like a very aggressive, burst damage full auto option, or a more thoughtful semi-auto plinker.) It’d been fantastic on three fronts: Getting to see what some of the more iconic weapons could have been like (cough cough USSR cough), getting some of my obscure gun knowledge redeemed and, conversely, learning about a whole swath of new and awesome firearms. Otherwise, here's a few more unique guns I'd like to pitch to round up to 55, even if some are just for the sake of having: •Mauser Geha: A German made bolt-action shotgun with a whole 2 shell capacity built into a Mauser 98 action. To avoid overlap with the Drilling, I'd make it like a sniper-shotgun, with the tightest spread of all the shotties, and fastest muzzle velocity, but the damage wouldn't be anything overly stellar. Like, good at deleting two guys at close-medium range, or doubling down on one guy at medium range, but suffering from frequent reloads and a slow action. •Northover Projector: A British home guard tripod mounted launcher firing incendiary warheads. Though 'launcher' might be an oversight as it's more of a length of pipe with sights and a tripod. Still, I think it could occupy a unique niche in the assault's loadout: Basically port the rocket guns from BF1, reskin them and make their projectiles explode into extreme incendiary grenades that deal respectable, unimpeded damage over time to vehicles (and players). Easy to use with excellent interruption capabilities and a faster rate of fire, at the cost of negligible direct damage, no locational damage and the need to mount it like in BF1. •SREM-1: An experimental, one-of-a-kind British rifle that used a pump action grip. I can't get too technical with the weapon since I know barely anything about it, but I'd make it 'straight pull' and give it the ability to slam-fire hipfire, at the cost of relatively low ballistic performance and awkward handling, making it a very unique and potentially aggressive close range rifle. •Last-Ditch Type 99 Arisaka (second version): I commend BFV for doing a good job showcasing last-ditch weapons, mostly for Germany but Japan got the lunge mine. However, adding the extremely bare-bones version of the Type 99 would be fun, if for the novelty and meme potential. I'd make it a single shot rifle with about 80 maximum bodyshot damage, offsetting the single shot nature, but still requiring headshots for a full health insta-kill. Basically a more effective Liberator/nerfed Martini-Henry. •Furrer MP 41/44: A Swiss SMG with a unique side mounted toggle lock. Overcomplex, sophisticated and results in only an overly expensive mediocre SMG, but a visually cool one. I feel like this one would be cool to have: Firing at 900 RPM, it could have low vertical recoil due to the grip and side-set ergonomics, but be very flatlined and skew with heavy horizontal recoil. Mowing the lawns at close range but needing discipline at medium range. •Voevodin: A double-stacked Russian pistol meant as a competitor to the TT-33, which was significantly more well liked than the former at the time, held an impressive 18 rounds and was even gifted to Stalin as an attempt to mass produce it. Unfortunately, because the TT-33 was already set up for mass production and Russia was already knee deep in war, there wasn't really any commitment to furthering this thing beyond a few hundred models. Not really sure how I'd balance it, given its massive capacity, and chambering in 7.62x25mm Tokarev. Maybe it could be made as like a primary pistol like the Frommer Stop auto, with superior capacity and stopping power to most secondary pistols, but improved mobility and handling versus the standard SMGs and carbines, at the cost of sitting on the fence between the two. IDK, I just think it's cool. I could probably go one, but ranting and wish fulfilment aside, great video and I look forward to your future long form videos delving into other franchises!
With SREM-1 i think you mean SLEM-1 which isnt british but a belgian project. It started before WW2 but work carried into 1940 and after capitulation of Belgium the project was finished in Britain. British never had anything to do with it othar than it was finished there and inventor offered a Royal Army (Because Belgian Royal Army kindda didnt exist at the time) but it was not accepted. But it is a pretty important weapons because it was refined and developed into FN-49 and later FN FAL
@@mynameisjeff747 I was talking about the SREM-1, the pump action bullpup Jonathan Ferguson recommended to Rebellion to put into Sniper Elite 5, but thanks for recommending the SLEM-1. Just looked it up and that's such a handsome looking rifle. Cool to see how it translated into the FN-49, which looks like a more dressed up version, and that's overall crazy how some obscure experimental rifle eventually lead to the FAL. Thanks for that, you learned me something new and made my day!
Fun Fact: There was a dataminer that found files referencing the M1903A3 as being part of the game, along with the Type 44 Arisaka, but I don’t know if the weapons were completed before EA/DICE fully cut support of it.
BFV was really starting to repair its reputation with me towards the end of its life, to the point that the only thing that really comes to mind for me to pick at personally is the skins. Maaaybe the squad point call-ins. But with the release of the pacific front, I had some of the most fun I ever had in that game and was left wanting more from it, it's a shame they abandoned it before expanding upon what they were doing right with it.
Great video, Mem! Terrific work as always. I enjoy whenever you do the irl firearms demonstrations, seeing the examples in person is always so cool. Thank you again for the work, keep it up!

Japan I’d like to give em the type 97 auto cannon as it is an anti material and rifle with a c.20 x125mm it had an automatic action which gave it a high fire rate but the recoil ma from the round was very violent. Funnily enough it could be fitted with a shield making it weigh 68kg/150lbs. Italy : the solothurn s-18/1000 the famous Swiss anti material rifle adopted by the Italians and use during Ww2 this rifle with it uses 10 round magazines that hold 20mm cartridges which will be a big threat to any vehicle that comes near.(recommend Kentucky ballistics video it’s badass) Germany: the Grb39 rifle grenade launcher. It was adapted to fire karl98k rifle grenades when armor advancements sort killed the anti tank rifle concept. And it has curse Prototype variant of a revolver setup I’d like to include a new category for support the being named heavy support weapons category this includes hmgs like the m1917 browning hmg, type 3 hmg, schwarlose mg M.07/12 and flamethrowers like the ROKS, Life bouy, flammewerfer 35, M2, and the type 93. Finally the two odd flamers being the kp-31 and the experimental mosin nagant flamethrower but those can arguably be specializations.
Fantastic video! My favorite parts of your videos is learning about the weapons featured in the games so an entire video where you're just going over the history of like 50 different guns is a dream come true. I do have an idea for more Japanese weapons. It's a bit weird but what about those makeshift guns created by Imperial Japan and given out to the Volunteer Fighting Corps in case of a ground invasion of Japan in 1945. The two I know of are the National Defense Pistol and the National Defense Rifle. They're such odd weapons and none of them seem to have survived into the 21st century. I don't think there'd be any weapons in the game that play like them. Just an idea.
The C96 not being in the game already really kills me. There are actually a lot of C96s used in WW2, especially so because they are often awarded or carried by Red Army officers due to the Soviet's love for the weapon. Doubly so because the C96 can actually use 762 Tokrev (Although it does hurt the action), unlike a lot of 9mm stuff they would capture from the Germans. You can find a lot of C96s in Red Army photos; for example, the cavalry guy with the Americans in Elbe carries a decorated C96. You can even find C96s in soviet services into the 80s. So if they actually come around to do the Eastern Front, I don' t think even the original C96 would be out of time at all.
30:06 funfact, the sterling was probably going to be added to BFV because since the early phase of the game there were (or still there are?) dog tags of mastery featuring such weapon. Sadly it never came to be :(
@@madeirapog5483 there is allot of cut content for BFV, some of the guns in the video where cut content at one point or another, for example : the Panzerschreck was a cut weapon from early development and is fully compleat in the game along side full auto pistols for the cut Anti Tank Class (because BFV originaly had a compleatly difrent class system that more resembled that of BF2 with Anti tank , Commando etc but there where way more) the Sterling , Lanchester SMGs and the goliath Tracked mine cut due to the 5vs5 mode The C96 ported from BF1 was cut from the Pacific update (unlike the previous ones it was never fully added to the game so you could not spawn it in) stuff like that
I believe a regular Carcano not the one with grenade launcher in the medic glass should also be put in the sniper category for bfv and great video btw, thanks for saying that 1903 Springfield rifle was totally missing for US forces
I’ll give this a full watch with a proper comment tomorrow. I’ve got a busy night tonight. Just wanted to add a comment so the algorithm boosts this video within the first few hours of the upload. Love your content, excited to watch this video tomorrow.
Amazing work with this video. Personally, I've always been a big fan of reskins, especially in games with multiple historic factions. I really appreciate that you didn't just go that route, and instead tried to find interesting balancing niches for the majority of these additions. I know I would've had a lot of fun playing around with all of these. It's hard to think that bFV launched 6 years ago... It still looks and plays really well. This game deserved more development time, more post launch support, and some refinements to help fix things like connection issues and team balancing that are honestly the only reason I don't still play it regularly.
TLDR: I checked a part of a list of weapons captured by Germany during WW2 to see if I cannot fill the Support roster a bit more. These are ZB vz. 26, MG 08/15, Breda Mod 30(and Winchester 1894) After looking at the lack of new support weapons for Germany, as mentioned by you as well, I decided to go dig a bit. As you have mentioned the prevalence of Beutewaffen (Captured guns) I immediately took a look at the Fremdblätter fremden Geräts D50 (Being essentially a piece of literature including all the captured weapons/clothes/vehicles by Germany in the war) which does include two MG sections (One for light's and one for heavies). While I can only recommend the online version on Wikipedia (which is sadly only available on the German version of the website) I do want to name my favorite picks (These will largely include LMGs if classified ingame). I will also not mention how to depict the gun ingame as I do not have nearly enough game time nor knowledge on BFV game mechanics. 1. MG 26 (t)/ 7,9mm le MG 146/1(j): This is essentially both the ZB vz. 26. One (the one with the (t) for Tschechisch) is the Czechoslovakian version, captured after the annexation of Czechoslovakia and dissolving of the CZ divisions got pushed into German service similar to the Pz. 38 (t) and others. The other is an export to Yugoslavia which got captured during and after the Balkans Campaign. There is also a third version, the 7,9mm le MG 146/2 (r) which is outwardly different (having a different looking barrel) but otherwise being a stock ZB vz. 26. 2. MG 08/15 and (my personal guess being) licensed production or exports to other countries: The originally German ("""Light""") Maschinengewehr 08/15 was sold to a few smaller nations (like Belgium, the Netherlands and Yugoslavia) and subsequently captured from those countries stockpiles after being taken by Germany during WW2. While this one is mostly just the German MG 08/15 with foreign markings among the captured ones, there is a variant with different caliber, being the 7,65 mm l MG 125 (b), i.e. the Beglian one. More information on the exact cartridge is sadly not listed by my source, but I would say that it is very probable to be 7,65x54,5 Belgian. 3. 6,5 mm le MG 099 (i)/Breda Mod 30 (Italian designation): This is (as designated by the (i) for Italienisch) a captured Italian Breda Mod 30 after Italy's surrender in 1943. There is also the Breda Mod 30/38, a Marine version with a slightly different stock, being classified as the6,5 mm le MG 099/2 (i) by the Germans. This gun is especially novel for using 20 round stripper clips, similar to the Fiat Revelli Mod 1914. This time however the clip is not inserted into a box among other clips, but is much rather placed in a side mounted magazine thing which folds open. 4. G. 248 (e)/ Rifle Winchester, .30/30: This one isn't a MG as the others are but I found this one to be very perculiar nontheless. It's a Winchester 1894 captured from the English (made apparent by the (e) standing for Englisch). Where exactly it got captured is a mystery to me as only the British Home Guard and Canadian Pacific Coast Militia Rangers ever had these issued to them during the Second World War (probably not even in high number). I am sorry to anybody reading this for my incredibly mediocre writing style, as English isn't my mother tongue (and I am in general incapable of writing coherent text). I do hope however that you check out the afformentioned literature yourself if you are either strong in the German language or know how to translate websites. As is, the listed infantry weapons in the LMG sections are largely weapons which could be portable from BF1 without much hassle (examples being the Maxim-Tokarev, Bermann MG 15nA and a few more), which is because I left them unmentioned. The exception being the MG 08/15 as it is a specialty weapon in BF1 and as such would need a rework to not make it over(or maybe under)powered. I thank you for reading to the end of my rant and wish you a nice day. Edit: fixed a typo. May still include typos.
@@professormemsclass I do have to agree with you on that. As much as I want the German captured Winchester 1894 to be real (purely because it seems so extremely unlikely), I don't exactly have a physical copy of the book and as such cannot confirm the existence of a captured example of the rifle. I also want to say that I very much so appreciate the effort you are undertaking by making content on YT and I appreciate even more, that you took time out of your day to read my comment.
@@icantthinkofaname7293 from what I could find it is listed on the website (I do not have a physical copy of the book to double check) it isn't exactly the most plausible. I do however like the image of some guy in North Africa/ France running around with a lever gun, hence my addition. And if it turns out the captured Winchester 1894 was a real thing it would most likely be a one off gun brought from home by a British soldier that subsequently fell into the hands of enemy soldiers or some similarly silly circumstance.
the thing that bugs me the most are how mortars weren't added into the game. they recived hate in bf1 (hitmarker machine) and were okay in bf3 and 4, but they completely skipped over bfv, which captures the war that arguably sees the most usage of offensive/assult mortars in history. and yes I know the PIAT can be used as one, but I wanted designated equipment in the assault, support, or scout class. I also see the opportunity of adding the musket as a meme weapon. they were used in china due to shortage of arms and possibly used by other countries as a last resort. maybe make they could make muskets 1 shot but with terrible bullet drop and accuracy? and like everybody else I hate how they completely forgot the Soviet faction and eastern front. yeah im just another sheep among the flock
VZ. 24 Scout bolt action, chambered in 7.92x54mm Mauser, it would be basicly a Kar98K with slower firerate (40 something rpm), 1100 m/s muzzle velocity, more recoil and off-set scope for faster reloading (only 3x scope and irons) . specialisations could stay the same as with Kar98K, except zeroing scopes would be changed to 6x scope VZ. 26 LMG with low RPM, it could be basicly another Chauchat, but with faster reloading and slightly faster fire rate. fun little thing could be soldier putting his left hand on the stock when prone for even less recoil. it could also upgrade to 30 round mags KP Vz. 38 SMG with 500rmp, it would be able to use 36 round stick mags or 96 round drumms for more bullets. it also could have standard SMG damage, but with wider hip fire and low aimed recoil TK VZ. 37 HMG, it could only be fired when prone or mounted. 600 rpm, 790m/s muzzle velocity, slower movement when drawn. 100-200 round belts, it can keep MMG specialisations
Beretta model 30 machine gun would have also been a interesting addition, mostly due to the fact its manual of reloading being very strange and regarded by some to being probably the worst machine gun of the war.
I'm only like 1 minute into the video but already agree with the idea of more guns. I even had the idea of making my own game whose entire concept was to have as many real-life weapons in it as possible (gameplay-wise it would have been largely inspired by Enter the Gungeon with some elements from Division 2). Eventually I lost motivation to work on it and now, with a full-time job I've run out of free time but maybe I'll revive the idea in the future.
The fact that the US is the only faction missing it's standard issue bolt action rifle at the time of WW2, the M1903 Springfield rifle, and DICE adding the glitched K31/43 instead, is so infuriating. Every faction has it's standard issue rifle: Japan has the Arisaka, Germany has the Kar98k and of course, the Brits have the Lee Enfield, but not the Americans.
Yeah, it annoys me there are no American bolt guns and no Japanese weapons at all for the Assault Class. They had an M1903 model from BF1, they just needed to tweak it to be the A4 variant; Japan should've gotten their Type 4 M1 Garand clone.
Funnily enough, i actually like the s2 200. Due to the fact its a magazined lmg and i like its looks. Really liked the ideas you threw out aswell. Also for your nagant revolver issue, you could use the animation of bf1's empty reload for its a fast reload. Gotta love the mechanics of the nagant.
Ah, I had considered mentioning that, but even that reload is slow for what I want, the hope was that the individual round top up would be fast enough to seem reasonable even at 7 rounds.
YES! THANK YOU! I've always wanted the Hi-Power to appear in more WW2 games. The only two I can think of, aside from Enlisted, are Day of Infamy and a Call of Duty 2 mod. Also, the gun was apparently produced and used by the Germans in some capacity after they captured the FN factory in Belgium, so there's even more justification for it appear.
The Hi Power is such a fantastic little pistol; I've loved it ever since _Resident Evil 2._ I wish it showed up in more historical contexts in general; it should've been in COD WW2 and _Black Ops_ both.
Just like... I know this is stupid... But... Krummlauf... As a gadget. The 90 degree one, with the periscope sight and adjustable if it curves to the left or right. It comes with like 1 or 2 magazines and the ammunition cannot be replenished. Once you run out of ammunition there will be an animation on the last shot of the barrel breaking and your character dumping the rifle like a panzerfaust. Once you interact with an ammunition resupply or an ammo box you get a new one.
1:27:02 Before I watched this vid, I thought people would think that the PTRD was the definitive Russian anti tank gun cuz Simple History talked about it this 1 time. Turns out I was wrong
I usually hate gun nuts not cause I'm against guns but because every gun nut doesn't know about game balance or fun or humility but 8:21 just earned you a subscriber
I’m not sure why, Battlefield didn’t also add the Model 1917 revolver in Battlefield 1. Might’ve been similar to the Nagant Revolver loaded with a speed loader, and fired in double action.
Lewis Assault phase gun M1994 Hyde carbine Bendix Hyde Carbine As44 Assault rifle (sorry, i love the "looks like a attempt to do assault rifle ww2 era😅) Ah,and the ppr42 smg.
What you might be able to do for the Martini-Henry is have it start with the original black powder rounds then split into two upgrade paths with one turning it into a Martini-Greener shotgun, and the other converting it to the later .303 Martini-Enfield.
I really like your chanel. You managed to explain to me for example The difference between open bolt and closed bold weapons. Or why revolver ammo can't be used in regular pistols and vice versa Ps. 52:59 As a Pole I really appreciate thah you managed to pronounce the full polish name of this weapon in a pretty good way
and guess what, I'm back with part 4: elite classes 1st elite: Sentry ported from BF1, but the MG 08/15 would be more accurate and shoot faster than in BF1, and you would have a sawed off double barrel as a secondary. gadgets: smokes (reason for sentry to be in BFV: its in the shooting range already). 300 health and base movement speed, 3 health packs and 3 frags Raider You will get a cutlass/raider club/cavlary saber/katana depending on your faction. you would have more health (125) and infinite health packs, just like sentry, but also more mobility. your primary: M97 sawed off. gadgets: universal resuply crates and 3 smokes. also 3 frag grenades. Infiltrator Martini henry grenade launcher (damage slightly higher than M28 trombone grenades, same damage to infanty and more damage to vehicles) and sawed off M97. gadgets: redeploy beacon and airstrike flare (area gets bombed so much not even campers would survive). same power ups as raider-150hp, more speed, infinite health packs Flame trooper M2 Flamethrower/Flammenwerfer and sawed off double barrel, you would have 200 health as well as bonuses as raider, just less speed. once again 3 smokes, but this time 3 fire nades Tank hunter Good old tankgewehr, one shot is all it takes to destroy light armored vehicles like staghounds or greyhounds. you leal up to 38 damage to other tanks and one shot at all ranges. 175 health, you also get the M97 sawed off. 3 anti tank grenades, and a launcher of your nationality (Bazooka, PIAT or Panzerschreck), as well as a spotting scope be ready for part 5
You should have included a Mauser 1888 because the Germans in the Battle of Berlin were literally raiding museums of anything possible so hell even a Dreyse Nadelgewehr
Volksturm units were mainly issued with Italian Carcanos but these units could basically use any gun from Frenc Lebels and Bertheirs, Danish Krags, WWI Gewehr 98 or whatever they've captured across the entire Europe at that point
Another great video Mem! Personally I think the Medium Machine Gun category would fit the early war rear echelon configuration of the Mg08/15, a gun I have a lot of love for, though balancing it might be a bit wonky the sheer looks of that gun and its uniqueness would be criminal to not want added. Thank you for the great video Mem :)
part 2 of extending the list even further bc its fun Obrez pistol same as in BF1 (real original, ik) Kolibri same as in BF1 Kolibri machinecarbine 500 round magazine, 1500 rpm, 5 damage per shot, basicly no recoil, it would be a big meme Sawed off shotguns: M1897 wider hipfire, faster handling and more damage than Model 37, but one less round M1900/M30 drilling same as with 1897, just more damage and BF1 sawed off reload. if M30, rifle barrel could still be used for basicly a second obrez 12G automatic same deal, just without firerate improvement part 3 coming with more tanks
Have to agree a LOT with the Browning Hi-Power’s inclusion statement. It was practically THEE pistol and even saw heavy service with various units after WWII. I always thought it would’ve been great but you know, the game was trashed before it came out (for good reasons) but it meant that it could never have the proper support it needed. Eastern Front gameplay would go extremely smoothly in BFV imo.
If i could add a weapon, the German VMG 1927/ MV-31 would be my pick. Fires 8mm Mauser using a short recoil system fed by a small drum magazine. The gun was equipped with a quick change replaceable barrel in case the barrel needs replacement. The VMG 1927 was made with the intent of making a modern LMG that required fewer parts needed to assemble it than the older ww1 era guns. The VMG was made with only 78 parts in total compared to the MG-08s 382. Two prototypes still exist to this day.
Also, Forgotten Weapons *just* dropped a video for a 💯 used bolt-action carbine: the Gewehr 33/40. Actually produced, actually used. Was a shortened K98.
As a Recon main, I would’ve loved a 1903 Springfield, especially if it was like the Kar98, my current favorite sniper in the game. The way you describe it, it sounds like it’d be a mix between the Kar98 and a pistol carbine. I think that would’ve been pretty cool, but I think separating them also makes sense. Maybe one specialization of the bolt action focuses on faster, more aggressive sniping with much lower muzzle velocity (much like the Lee Enfield), and the other is about more methodical and calculated long range shooting with a lower fire rate. The Pedersen Device version could be an Assault weapon or a semi-auto Recon weapon with low damage and a high fire rate cap.
Y'know, as a fellow history and firearms nerd, especially where those hobbies go hand in hand contextually, I actually felt a little dissatisfied with the weapon variety in RDR2. The Western Expansion period had some great incremental and forward-thinking advancements in weapons technologies, and I don't think its particularly well represented in the game. Yes, it makes sense to cut out many weapons because the presence of others with similar roles or stats makes them more or less redundant, but I feel it takes away a bit from the overall authentic charm of the game, much like in BF5 (Well, yeah, BF5 isn't exactly the prime example of authenticity, but I'm sure you get the point). Handguns like Merwin and Hulberts, Webleys, all manner of percussion cap revolvers or conversions thereof, Remington 1875s and 1890s, and Colt Patersons, 1877s, 1878s, and Bisleys would all be great pieces to add. I also felt it was a bit of a waste to have a fetch quest for an antique muzzleloader, as well as giving the player the opportunity to fully examine it, but not having a usable variation of some sort. Other repeaters like the Burgess, Whitney-Kennedy, or Winchesters 1876, 1886, or 1894 also have a decent place, I believe. And maybe it's just nostalgia for Undead Nighmare, or perhaps my frustration that most piracy-related collectibles didn't make it to the final game, but I also would've loved a blunderbuss... Yeah, I know, "What is this, 1850?" There are plenty more historical options that would have every reason to be on the game's roster, but if I went and listed everything, that'd eventually get boring, even to me.
There is a way to dramatically improve BFV's immersion, not by adding something, but by removing one aspect-the one that was the real reason why players did not like BFV. It had opportunity to be the best WW2 game with great gameplay mechanics.
Turkish M1938 Mauser conversion rifles were made with captured WW1 Lee Enfields and Mauser 1903's already available in Ottoman army. While it's time appropriate I don't think it would make sense to be used in the game since neither Axis or Allied forces bought it. It also could make Lee Enfield or Mauser M95 obsolete if they decided to incorporate Lee Enfield fire rate and M95 damage model. Still a neat rifle conversion.
@@professormemsclass Wrong! The Suomi KP-31 simply runs on the perpetual Bullet making it so you never have to use Magazines (Probably meaning infinite ammo too)... Which would make it better than C tier wouldn't you think??? HMmmMMMMMMMM????
I know this maybe a topic off, but my old man and I who enjoy the concept of WW2, despite BF5 being WW2 and we wanted a 2143, thought when the pacific was coming to the game, we thought that we will get a modified conquest game where instead of spawning on flags, you spawn on your base, your base being a carrier supposed by 4 cruisers, and the flags hold anti ship cannons. Also more AT rifles as I think lets say, an AT rifle with an upgrade line where you can choose improved Armor piercing, or you get HE rounds, yes, very minor upon minor, but the potential cannot be overlooked.
The thing is, the Type 4/5 Rifle was already in a pervious Battlefield game, BF1943 and Bad Company 2's campaign, so it wouldn't be hard to get it into BFV
some weapons weren't necessary to be added in BFV , like the Steyr , the Ross and the Chauchat rifles , they were outdated by the WW2 time , and it's kind of funny they put the Ruby pistol while it already should be in BF1 as a appropriate pistol for the french faction. i really wish there was the Springfield rifle, by far the biggest lack in this game while it appeared in BF1 , so the snipers in the american side in some maps wouldn't have enough of appropriate rifles for them, that's kinda sad. decidedly , while DICE can propose us interesting guns , they make some discussable choices , it's almost frustrating if you ask me.
The panzershreck would’ve been cool to see, yeah it’s well known but adds another layer to the gadgets, other than that I wouldn’t mind seeing the Berthier series of rifles.
I still feel like the Type 4 should've been in the game (thank you for calling it by its correct name); I was honestly surprised given how heavily DICE have used it in the past. Cosmetically it might be similar to a Garand but functionally it's a Gewehr 43 (down to only being able to reload via stripper clips) so I think it has a different niche to fill: I'd have made it a slow ROF high DPS weapon to offset the slower reloads.
I think one neat idea for Germany, while not exactly a new weapon, would definitely change up the dynamic for an existing weapon. I am of course talking about the MP-40/I, which was an MP-40 modified to have a sliding magazine housing capable of holding two magazines at once. I think this would make more sense as a potential specialization for the MP-40 in game, allowing you to use the fire mode switch button to quickly swap between mags, essentially doubling your capacity. But I think a good trade-off would be to 1: Make the partial and full reloads slightly slower. And 2: Slightly increase recoil as the user would need to use the often unused fore stock instead of being able to grip the now modified mag well. As for Soviet weapons, the SVT-40 could be made more interesting through the use of the AVT-40, admittedly while stepping on the toes of the AVS-36. The AVT could also fire fully automatic at 750RPM and were initially supplied with 15 round magazines. So I'd imagine the 10-round clip-fed mag being the standard with two potential paths standing out for it: A marksman path that gives you a scope and possibly some kind of upgrade to your ballistic performance, with a full-auto panic button at your disposal. Or you could go for a hybrid rifleman/machine gunner loadout that gives you a detachable 15-round mag and a heftier stock that reduces side-to-side sway. The final upgrade could potentially choose between a Bayonet or Improved muzzle compensator for decreased muzzle climb. The Mosin could be special since it can be drawn into Soviet or Finnish service through the specialization modifications, with the Soviet version being shortened into the M44 carbine with its side-folding bayonet for close-range aggression, or the Finnish versions being something like one of the best bolt-actions for iron-sight sniping or something. As for the PTRS-41, I would think it would probably be one of the only weapons in-game where you would only be able to use it when mounted on its bipod, much like in Red Orchestra 2. It's an extremely effective AT rifle, but it's one hell of a clunker to use on-the-go. You'd probably also only get two _(maybe_ three) clips of 5 rounds. And I'd probably also make it a 75 damage to body-shot and have the muzzle climb while deployed be fairly significant, requiring reacquisition of the target after every shot. But yeah, the PTRD generally fits more in line with the rest of this games AT rifles. I can think of one good French option as well, the Berthier carbine, which the French were still using in large numbers by WW2. You could either go for the Berthier 1892/M16 which would use 8mm Lebel in a 5 round en-block clip, having heavy damage up close but poor ballistics at a distance, or the Berthier 1907/15-M34, which converted the carbine to 7.5mm and give it more generically bolt-action performance.
I have an Idea for a gadget for the axis side, the Einstossflammenwerfer 46. "The Einstossflammenwerfer 46 was a handheld single shot flamethrower designed in Germany during the second half of World War II and introduced in 1944; it was engineered to be both cheap and easily mass-produced, falling into the category of throwaway flamethrower. The disposable weapon fired a half-second burst of flame of up to 27 metres (89 ft). It was issued to the Volkssturm or the Werwolf movement, but also used by the Fallschirmjäger (German paratroopers). It was inspired by the Italian "Lanciafiamme Mod. 41 d'assalto"."
Ah, as far as I can tell, an evolution of that design (or at least something very similar to it) ended up in the game as a gadget called the “pistol flamethrower” although it didn’t exactly work as shown in reality. This design has a pistol grip, trigger, and two nozzles rather than the small bipod and single nozzle shown in the illustration.
Ok if you are going to do the M1 SMG Suppressed you need to make it the M1 SMG and have the suppressed part be a specialization, and have 30 round mags be default.
COD WW2 and Vanguard are absolute goldmines for obscure weapons that could have filled out Battlefield V too. I’d love to see your thoughts on weapon pick-ups that could have been added. I think the Kulakov grenade launcher would have been appropriate if the eastern front was ever reached.
Thanks again to AJ, channel linked here: th-cam.com/channels/-PcOYLukCtykprAP5YkLPg.html
BTW the game Enlisted features a very wide veriaty of those rare or never seen kombat rifles. Also those you hat already listed.
they could've done so many more anti-materiel rifles, WW2 was literally the era of AT rifle innovation, PTRS, PTRD, Solothurn S-18/100, Lahti L-39, Type-97 Auto Cannon, etc
Righttt man bfv could’ve been one of the best ww2 shooters if they really wanted it
a ww2 game without a PTRS just doesn’t feel right to me
Yugoslav M1933 Protivoklopni karabin is interesting one. Gun is basicly a WW1 Gewehr M1918 but the gun was able to fire what is basicly a 13mm HEAT (these bullets didnt loose any penetration value over distance) with reports that it was used with great success on Rupnik Line against italy
I could see this as an option to give the Support class a better anti-vehicle option.
Interesting
i wonder if this is a reason the bf1 variant has AA sights
wait the british home guard rejected something? odd.
In reality, they accepted it for that role, if I'm not wrong
Considering how tight fisted the beauracracy was around British Defense funding, it's no surprise.
I mean shit, the Mosquito one of the most iconic planes of WW2 for its speed, agility and cheap production cost was denied twice by the British Armed forces, until they physically couldn't produce more metal planes.
I still find it criminal that they didn't implement the ppsh into the game
There's no PPSH? I haven't played BFV why didn't they put it in?

Fun fact: The Browning Hi-Power was the only weapon produced in any real numbers (as far as I’m aware) for both sides of World War Two. After the factory producing them in Belgium was captured by German forces, they resumed production, meaning some German soldiers carried these pistols
I was very bummed the Hi Power was never implemented, especially since it was featured in key art for some of the cancelled expansions. Given the handgun meta heavily favored the two revolvers, having a high capacity semiauto would've given that class of handgun some legs.
I think there are photos of German troops holding it actually
I love how half these visuals were just used from Enlisted
Yeah man, that game just has so many WWII guns, and screenshotting images from there is pretty copyright-safe
@ yes I would have loved if horses were put in bf5 as a scouting vehicle.

BFV ended up being a great game. Incomplete but even on release much, MUCH better than 2042.
BFV to this day is one of my favorite battlefields. 2 will always hold a special place in my heart tho

By the end of its life cycle, it was probably the best multiplayer game out there
@@MrJrv1993 If they added some of the stuff they changed in BF1 it would 100% be my favorite. Like the squad and medic system.

US: M1917 Revolver, M50 Reising, United Defense M42, M1903, Stinger LMG, M1912 Shotgun
Commonwealth: Webley Auto Loading, Browning Hi-Power, Enfield 1917, Charlton LMG, Owen Gun, Sterling SMG, Austin SMG
Germany: C96, Gewehr 98, Gewehr 41, MP3008, MG30, Panzerschrek

Others: Czech ZB26 LMG, Beretta 1934, Glisenti 1910, Carcano M91, Lahti L-39, Lahti L-35, Mas 36
Some other submachineguns could be the hungarian 43m and the romanian orita m1941
Dear Professor,
I bring news of footage available for the Webley Revolver with the Pritchard bayonet. The game Verdun, a realistic style WWI shooter, features it. I would absolutely recommend it if you would like some footage of it in the future. Here's to hoping DICE does something!
I see I see, thanks for the heads up
I think an interesting way of making the Mosin unique would be adding an "Obrez" specialization that saws off the guns barrel, making it function like the Obrez from bf1.
Everyday I’m reminded of what BfV could have been
The nagant revolver was actually extremely popular among most actual combat units who could get their hands on it. Great news for nerds like us
Excited for the BF1 version of this video
Oh dear lord, 1 hour and 42 minutes of peak just dropped
Edit: this video helps me personally, outside of BFV, because I'm trying to take inspiration from BF1 and BFV for my video game mods, so letting me know what may be popular helps me prioritize stuff, lol
Happy to help
Please take me to the parallel universe where we got the infomercials version of BFV and got the extra 50 guns by 'calling now.'
If these were in the game...
It'd be fun as like a very aggressive, burst damage full auto option, or a more thoughtful semi-auto plinker.)
It’d been fantastic on three fronts: Getting to see what some of the more iconic weapons could have been like (cough cough USSR cough), getting some of my obscure gun knowledge redeemed and, conversely, learning about a whole swath of new and awesome firearms.
Otherwise, here's a few more unique guns I'd like to pitch to round up to 55, even if some are just for the sake of having:
•Mauser Geha: A German made bolt-action shotgun with a whole 2 shell capacity built into a Mauser 98 action.
All fun ideas
Dang, what a loss, but very interesting.
This video was pretty cool. I learned of some weapons I had not learned of before. Outstanding work!

It's such a treat to see this kind of battlefield content in 2024, great stuff
Great video, Mem! Terrific work as always. I enjoy whenever you do the irl firearms demonstrations, seeing the examples in person is always so cool. Thank you again for the work, keep it up!

My pleasure
Japan I’d like to give em the type 97 auto cannon as it is an anti material and rifle with a c.20 x125mm it had an automatic action which gave it a high fire rate but the recoil ma from the round was very violent. Funnily enough it could be fitted with a shield making it weigh 68kg/150lbs.
Italy : the solothurn s-18/1000 the famous Swiss anti material rifle adopted by the Italians and use during Ww2 this rifle with it uses 10 round magazines that hold 20mm cartridges which will be a big threat to any vehicle that comes near.(recommend Kentucky ballistics video it’s badass)
Germany: the Grb39 rifle grenade launcher. It was adapted to fire karl98k rifle grenades when armor advancements sort killed the anti tank rifle concept. And it has curse Prototype variant of a revolver setup
I’d like to include a new category for support the being named heavy support weapons category this includes hmgs like the m1917 browning hmg, type 3 hmg, schwarlose mg M.07/12 and flamethrowers like the ROKS, Life bouy, flammewerfer 35, M2, and the type 93.
Very interesting, wonder how I’d balance that?
Yeah cod world war 2 has so many good choices that should have been in bf5
Agreed

I always wanted more Italian guns in Bf5
TLDR: I checked a part of a list of weapons captured by Germany during WW2 to see if I cannot fill the Support roster a bit more. These are ZB vz. 26, MG 08/15, Breda Mod 30(and Winchester 1894)
After looking at the lack of new support weapons for Germany, as mentioned by you as well, I decided to go dig a bit.
1. MG 26 (t)/ 7,9mm le MG 146/1(j):
This is essentially both the ZB vz. 26.
2. MG 08/15 and (my personal guess being) licensed production or exports to other countries:
The originally German ("""Light""") Maschinengewehr 08/15 was sold to a few smaller nations (like Belgium, the Netherlands and Yugoslavia) and subsequently captured from those countries stockpiles after being taken by Germany during WW2.
3. 6,5 mm le MG 099 (i)/Breda Mod 30 (Italian designation):
This is (as designated by the (i) for Italienisch) a captured Italian Breda Mod 30 after Italy's surrender in 1943.
4. G. 248 (e)/ Rifle Winchester, .30/30:
This one isn't a MG as the others are but I found this one to be very perculiar nontheless.
Nice stuff! I find the Winchester most incredible, but generally this is great info.
Wait... the germans had captured winchesters?
@@icantthinkofaname7293 from what I could find it is listed on the website (I do not have a physical copy of the book to double check) it isn't exactly the most plausible. I do however like the image of some guy in North Africa/ France running around with a lever gun, hence my addition. And if it turns out the captured Winchester 1894 was a real thing it would most likely be a one off gun brought from home by a British soldier that subsequently fell into the hands of enemy soldiers or some similarly silly circumstance.
@mayn8154 the insane possibilities that real history gives are beautiful
the thing that bugs me the most are how mortars weren't added into the game. they recived hate in bf1 (hitmarker machine) and were okay in bf3 and 4, but they completely skipped over bfv, which captures the war that arguably sees the most usage of offensive/assult mortars in history. and yes I know the PIAT can be used as one, but I wanted designated equipment in the assault, support, or scout class.
Just because it’s a common opinion, doesn’t mean it’s not a good one ;P
VZ. 24
Scout bolt action, chambered in 7.92x54mm Mauser, it would be basicly a Kar98K with slower firerate (40 something rpm), 1100 m/s muzzle velocity, more recoil and off-set scope for faster reloading (only 3x scope and irons) . specialisations could stay the same as with Kar98K, except zeroing scopes would be changed to 6x scope
VZ. 26
LMG with low RPM, it could be basicly another Chauchat, but with faster reloading and slightly faster fire rate. fun little thing could be soldier putting his left hand on the stock when prone for even less recoil. it could also upgrade to 30 round mags
KP Vz. 38
SMG with 500rmp, it would be able to use 36 round stick mags or 96 round drumms for more bullets. it also could have standard SMG damage, but with wider hip fire and low aimed recoil
TK VZ. 37
HMG, it could only be fired when prone or mounted. 600 rpm, 790m/s muzzle velocity, slower movement when drawn. 100-200 round belts, it can keep MMG specialisations
Good suggestions!
Your content’s been a great comfort lately, really happy to see another upload :>
I'm glad to hear it
Beretta model 30 machine gun would have also been a interesting addition, mostly due to the fact its manual of reloading being very strange and regarded by some to being probably the worst machine gun of the war.
That is such a good idea honestly, just a completely guns-first model. There’s just something so cathartic about seeing a gun interpreted into an FPS.
My wishes for the continuation of BFV

Nice picks!
Right you are
The Hi Power is such a fantastic little pistol; I've loved it ever since _Resident Evil 2._ I wish it showed up in more historical contexts in general; it should've been in COD WW2 and _Black Ops_ both.
Oh gosh… I love it
@professormemsclass I could not be happier about that comment ^^
1:27:02 Before I watched this vid, I thought people would think that the PTRD was the definitive Russian anti tank gun cuz Simple History talked about it this 1 time.
Turns out I was wrong
The suppressed Sten overheating mechanic was featured in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and it makes sense
For anyone wondering how the Nagant Revolver reload would look like as explained, just look up PUBG’s revolver reload animation
Aren't it's like any revolver?
im so glad you included the stinger in enlisted, i love that weapon!!
I usually hate gun nuts not cause I'm against guns but because every gun nut doesn't know about game balance or fun or humility but 8:21 just earned you a subscriber
Haha glad to hear it, also a totally reasonable opinion to have.
I had no idea the Aussie defense guys were using cap and ball revolvers. God I wish percussion guns were featured in more games.
I’m not sure why, Battlefield didn’t also add the Model 1917 revolver in Battlefield 1. Might’ve been similar to the Nagant Revolver loaded with a speed loader, and fired in double action.
Might have one bullet less, but would be more valuable than the Nagant.
Lewis Assault phase gun
M1994 Hyde carbine
Bendix Hyde Carbine
As44 Assault rifle (sorry, i love the "looks like a attempt to do assault rifle ww2 era😅)
Ah,and the ppr42 smg.
Hey DICE, I found your new ideas guy.
What you might be able to do for the Martini-Henry is have it start with the original black powder rounds then split into two upgrade paths with one turning it into a Martini-Greener shotgun, and the other converting it to the later .303 Martini-Enfield.
O.o very good suggestion
I don't even play battlefield but your channel is pure gold, keep up the amazing work!
Ah thanks!
I love how you thought about stats and gameplay well thought of brother
Thank you
I really like your chanel. You managed to explain to me for example The difference between open bolt and closed bold weapons. Or why revolver ammo can't be used in regular pistols and vice versa
Ps. 52:59 As a Pole I really appreciate thah you managed to pronounce the full polish name of this weapon in a pretty good way
Whoa glad to hear it!
and guess what, I'm back with part 4: elite classes
1st elite: Sentry
ported from BF1, but the MG 08/15 would be more accurate and shoot faster than in BF1, and you would have a sawed off double barrel as a secondary. gadgets: smokes (reason for sentry to be in BFV: its in the shooting range already). 300 health and base movement speed, 3 health packs and 3 frags
Raider
You will get a cutlass/raider club/cavlary saber/katana depending on your faction. you would have more health (125) and infinite health packs, just like sentry, but also more mobility. your primary: M97 sawed off. gadgets: universal resuply crates and 3 smokes. also 3 frag grenades.
Infiltrator
Martini henry grenade launcher (damage slightly higher than M28 trombone grenades, same damage to infanty and more damage to vehicles) and sawed off M97. gadgets: redeploy beacon and airstrike flare (area gets bombed so much not even campers would survive). same power ups as raider-150hp, more speed, infinite health packs
Flame trooper
M2 Flamethrower/Flammenwerfer and sawed off double barrel, you would have 200 health as well as bonuses as raider, just less speed. once again 3 smokes, but this time 3 fire nades
Tank hunter
Good old tankgewehr, one shot is all it takes to destroy light armored vehicles like staghounds or greyhounds. you leal up to 38 damage to other tanks and one shot at all ranges. 175 health, you also get the M97 sawed off. 3 anti tank grenades, and a launcher of your nationality (Bazooka, PIAT or Panzerschreck), as well as a spotting scope
be ready for part 5
i would've also included the Hungarian Kiraly 39M or 43M
Good suggestions
Fair idea, and thanks!
That intro is good don’t boooo him battlefield v is better then cod vanguard and wwii
As a WW2 nerd who thinks the guns are more interesting, thanks for also including some little fun facts about the guns.
My pleasure
12:00 You were a few inches away from getting killed by the backblast
Ah man you’re right, almost walked right into it haha
part 2 of extending the list even further bc its fun
Obrez pistol
same as in BF1 (real original, ik)
Kolibri
same as in BF1
Kolibri machinecarbine
500 round magazine, 1500 rpm, 5 damage per shot, basicly no recoil, it would be a big meme
Sawed off shotguns:
M1897
wider hipfire, faster handling and more damage than Model 37, but one less round
M1900/M30 drilling
same as with 1897, just more damage and BF1 sawed off reload. if M30, rifle barrel could still be used for basicly a second obrez
12G automatic
same deal, just without firerate improvement
part 3 coming with more tanks
That would be a pretty good pick
BF1’s Hellriegel pretty much gives a pass to any even *remotely* plausible gun. So, hell yah to the Stinger.
Also, Forgotten Weapons *just* dropped a video for a 💯 used bolt-action carbine: the Gewehr 33/40. Actually produced, actually used. Was a shortened K98.
This video must have been a lot of work, a labour of love though I'm sure. Great job!
Thank you very much, it was a lot of work but worth it I think.
@professormemsclass 100% worth it!
I never understood why BF1 didn’t have a berthier.
Same here
As a Recon main, I would’ve loved a 1903 Springfield, especially if it was like the Kar98, my current favorite sniper in the game.
It had opportunity to be the best WW2 game with great gameplay mechanics.
a video just like this but with tanks would bring me to tears
Turkish M1938 Mauser conversion rifles were made with captured WW1 Lee Enfields and Mauser 1903's already available in Ottoman army. While it's time appropriate I don't think it would make sense to be used in the game since neither Axis or Allied forces bought it. It also could make Lee Enfield or Mauser M95 obsolete if they decided to incorporate Lee Enfield fire rate and M95 damage model. Still a neat rifle conversion.
Ah yes the suomi with a invisible box mag truly ww2 had some advanced technology 1:31
Haha yeah the Tripoli skin just doesn’t have a 50 round coffin mag. I COULD use a different model for it, but I choose not to.
@@professormemsclass Wrong! The Suomi KP-31 simply runs on the perpetual Bullet making it so you never have to use Magazines (Probably meaning infinite ammo too)... Which would make it better than C tier wouldn't you think??? HMmmMMMMMMMM????
i can actually imagine having a blast playing the webley carbine with the stats described
Man BfV is so underbaked and this vid really shows how this game could have had so much more going on.
They should come back to support this game, give it everything it should have had.
The thing is, the Type 4/5 Rifle was already in a pervious Battlefield game, BF1943 and Bad Company 2's campaign, so it wouldn't be hard to get it into BFV
As a fan of Battlefield V who was disappointed when I heard this game was being discontinued I approve this video
some weapons weren't necessary to be added in BFV , like the Steyr , the Ross and the Chauchat rifles , they were outdated by the WW2 time , and it's kind of funny they put the Ruby pistol while it already should be in BF1 as a appropriate pistol for the french faction. i really wish there was the Springfield rifle, by far the biggest lack in this game while it appeared in BF1 , so the snipers in the american side in some maps wouldn't have enough of appropriate rifles for them, that's kinda sad. decidedly , while DICE can propose us interesting guns , they make some discussable choices , it's almost frustrating if you ask me.
The panzershreck would’ve been cool to see, yeah it’s well known but adds another layer to the gadgets, other than that I wouldn’t mind seeing the Berthier series of rifles.
The Battlefield Vietnam jefferson airplane menu music is such a nostalgic touch
"And their distinguishing features are found on the other Japanese LMGs"
Type 99 bayonet lug erasure 😤
Seriously though, great video!
Haha thanks
Good video, great research, every time I see u upload, ik im going to have a good time. Appreciate the solid work.
Ah thank you, I’m glad to hear it.
This is pretty interesting. I'd want the semi-auto marksman carbine one for the mk6
I still feel like the Type 4 should've been in the game (thank you for calling it by its correct name); I was honestly surprised given how heavily DICE have used it in the past. Cosmetically it might be similar to a Garand but functionally it's a Gewehr 43 (down to only being able to reload via stripper clips) so I think it has a different niche to fill: I'd have made it a slow ROF high DPS weapon to offset the slower reloads.
i could listen to this guy for hours actually i think
52:59 I was actually jumpscared by you actually trying to pronounce the full Polish name, and doing it actually really damn well
Ah Man, the amount of weapons, gadgets, vehicles this game could have
I think one neat idea for Germany, while not exactly a new weapon, would definitely change up the dynamic for an existing weapon.
The more I watch the sadder I get cus dice won’t ever gon make this come true
