Thank you so much! I already have a video for the sidearms and Assault primaries, though they’re older so you’ll have to excuse the poorer quality and slightly different formatting. I’ve got the Support and Recon tier list videos already in the pipeline ;P
I may be late but the reverse grip on mp28 is actually historically correct, even tought in manuals it was ill advised (as it started with people holding it like that ) it had actually a few advantages like how it is actually easier on the hand as instead of weight being lifted by your fingers it is supported by your palm and this grip had one big advantage: it was better when crouching and to some extent when being prone, as you would put your elbow on your knee for support lowering the recoil as you had more or less a monopod. So in fact it is good grip and awesome detail
4:50 One of the coolest things about the mp40 in this game is the attention to detail on the reload animation where they made it look like your character is actually pulling the mag is upside down when the character pulls it out from their mag pouch which is was standard to have the magazines upside down in the pouches
Personally, I see where they were going with the Medic's CQC doctrine. Field medics, not combat medics, during the war were not usually trained in combat to the level that the regular infantry was. The modern day SMG is commonly referred to as the PDW, or personal defense weapon. It makes sense for a field medic to be issued with such a firearm, being that their role had little to do with engaging enemy forces and would have only used the weapon as a last resort in self defense.
3:13 I've actually held a KP/-31. In the Military Museum of Manège there is an actual (though non firing) KP/-31 you can actually hold. Which is interesting since most museums about the military and war don't allow you to hold the guns.

The BFV community is growing up. Before you would see almost everyone being a cunt with their prototype nambu type 1(Type 2A in-game) but now I almost don’t see them anymore. Same goes for the level 500 Misakis with zk-383
The way they stand came to be first. You had the Linchester which was too expensive, and then you had to get rid of a Linchester and made it cheaper one and then finally you got the stand mark two, but eventually that was improved variance like the one with the stock made out of wood and for grip, this was just made to fill up the gaps where Britain didn’t have guns
The sub caliber light machine gun is an under-appreciated concept from that time period, other examples include the Standschutze Hellriegel 1915 and the LAD Machine Gun which was going to be in BFV but ended up getting cut (very sad) But from a modern military perspective there’s no need for a weapon like that, so it’s an idea we see very little of these days.
Hi! First time I am seeing a video from your nice YT channel👍🏼. Interesting to see your thoughts on the medic class guns from a more casual perspective (no offence at all) and I find it pretty fair on that pov. On a tryharder or vs tryharders standpoint it would probably more be like: S : ZK(lightbolt), JungleC A : Suomi, Grease Gun B : Mp28 (full hipfire spec), type100, Thompson C : mp40, Sten, Welgun, EMP D : Mab38, CommandoC E : Trombocino F : Mp34 N/A: Type2a is out of balance Cheers
I Love To Play with MAB 38 as a medic best smg for me to use And Carcano M28 is grate to destroy or harm tanks or supporting your sqad in big fire fights
Opting out of light bolt turns ZK into just a slightly better version of MP34 with 10 more rounds in a magazine while light bolt turns it into a Type 100 with higher damage. MP34 sucks because you will lose against all the other SMGs in SMG ranges and you will lose to ARs or DMRs in longer ranges anyways. That's why light bolt is the way to go with ZK.
*technically* the de lisle carbine (the commando carbine) didnt have much of a barrel, only having about 2-3 inches whiling the rest being all suppressor.
@professormemsclass I guess the only draw back that dice didn't give it a 40 round mag for it. IRL it had one. I'm guessing reload is slightly slow. Overall good balance gun. 👌
Paraplegic on annapurna shouldnt be as funny as it is lol. The zk doesnt have high recoil cause it weighed a lot. It was a an expensive but very high quality smg
The M28 Tromboncino sometimes, if you switch to the lanuncher fast enough or something, it's happened quite often for me. That the animation of switching the bolt to the launcher, sometimes the right hand does not show up at first, and the bolt is magically placed on the side of the gun with no right hand in sight lol.
M28 Con Tromboncino is my favorite weapon in maybe all of the battlefield series except for maybe the BF1 Peacekeeper. That bad boy can do almost anything if you learn to speak its language
Woah woah woah, u put the zk-383 in A tier and not s tier, considering the zk-383 is literally the best medic gun and is used by the majority of competitive players for medic I was quite surprised. Also it’s got the fastest time to kill other than the type 2 mainly due to its really good recoil control. I was also surprised that u didn’t go light bolt because (in my opinion) it’s the better upgrade. I love this gun.
Mmhm, on all technical levels you’re right, but on a personal level I just don’t like it or the light bolt quite so much. So I put it lower as a personal opinion.
i've always tried my best to tailor each loadout to be the most realistic with some exceptions for each faction plus i adore the MP40 reload animation and sounds ngl
MP34 with just High Velocity Bullet + Hipfire Accuracy specialization is S tier. 514 rpm and high bullet velocity makes it a monstrosity for long range headshot kills, while still being able to stomp most other weapons in CQC with enhanced hipfire. Basically Enhace Hipfire alone is better than the entire right branch, and 514rpm with higher bullet velocity is more worthwile than sacrificing accuracy/control to gain higher rate of fire + either of the tier 3 specializations.

They definitely made the mab 38 extremely generic despite it being a VERY VERY nice smg especially with its duel trigger system and low recoil and 40 round standard mag.so happy to see someone who loves the carcano getting s teir rocks.
Outstanding overview of the Medic Class Guns. I still play BFV and found that the Mp 28 and the ZK 383 have been my best 2 guns for me during my testing. I subscribed to your page
Also noticed in your content, *You're using low Field Of View (FoV)* which is restricting your performance massively. Higher FoV with *ADS FoV [ON]* helps with recoil control via perception. Hence some weapons that on low FoV feel like they kick heavily, absolute beam across the map with well tailored sensitivities and the higher FoV.
I am finding out that the faster your Gun is, your FOV should be higher say 90. The lower the FOV say 74, seems to be beneficial for slower guns. I'm still doing experiments. I'm considering having my FOV at 82 in the middle
@@DrSkull1939 I feel 74-84 is low FoV for an experienced player, 95-105 being top end which most favour due to the visual perceived recoil. But yeah, totally agree with how weapon selection and FoV can affect one another, also your favoured playlist can too. For someone who just sweats Tactical Conquest, high FoV is perfect but once you're on maps like Panzerstorm, it's hard to challenge those long range duels as easily without cover and movement not being such a factor
i have fov on 75 !!!! but i control my recoil with my sensitivity !!!! am playing on 400 dp with 35 sensitivity !!! and field of view of down the sight !!
Regarding the funky grip on the MP28: because of the side mounted magazine, especially if used with a trommel magazine, there would be significant torque on the gun, causing it to twist in the shooters grip. It would make sense if, in order to compensate for this, the shooter used an underhand grip around magazine well, allowing them to push up on that side of the gun for a more stable grip
Also, better hold the gun by the magwell rather than the magazine, to prevent feeding issues. And a bit oddly the grip used on the MP28 would be well suited for the Sten, which lacks a proper forestock, but is instead held as if it had one, like the MP28.
I might not like the ranking the type 2 A was given, but I’m gonna have to give it to you, it fucking shreds like a nuclear bomb for a single person if you shoot it up close, but I will say that with the team mates that this game likes to pair you with, I feel like I’m allowed to use this gun and be damn proud of it 😔 ( also the recoil does make me miss a decent amount from long range, but I guess that just means I suck, or shouldn’t be trying to use it long range )

I like the grease gun suppressor cause I feel like the gun itself is already great for clearing objectives and no one looks at you when its suppressed. Specifically point D on fjeil or however you spell that.
like ur video so much. but i have lots of disagrement with u. I think its because I have a different style with u. Personally, I think the medics in bv5 need to fight closer cuz only medics and scouts have 2 smokes but recon only have snippers and a few carbins. however, medics have such high fire rate guns , with totally 5 smokes and they do not need to lie on the ground like supports using machine guns which means they are borned to fight close. The top guns u suggested would be more accurate in mid ranges. But u can play semi-autos in assaults and easily win medics. Also, I strongly suggest u to change the skill trees of each guns like zk383 with all left and m1928A2 with 900 fire rate, these will change your ideas to these guns. I hope these can make you have a better idea about these guns. So for my opinion: S: type 2A; A: ZK-383, Suomi KP-31, Tommy gun; B: MP28, M3, jungle carbine; C: sten, type 100, mp40, commando carbin; D: all other guns which do not have their reason to be played unless you love it.
After playing another game enlisted in seeing how inaccurate some of the guns names are like the Type 2A when that guns looks nothing like that that’s a Type 1 smg and it has 570 rpm at most
Rant on the type 2A reminded me of the pain those of us still in BF1 experience every day with the SMG08. Wish someone could ban that gun entirely already
Professor Mem! Idk if you've changed something since this video but personally I think if you lowered your sensitivity a little bit your aim would be a lot better! great vid btw
I a different universe had dice not abandoned this game with the russian dlc I guarantee we couldve gotten the German Sten rip off. Instead of a mag on the side it has the MP40 mag layout
I accept your opinion but the thing is some of those weapon can only be used in you can controll them. The best example is the Suomi. If you can‘t controll the recoil I also would put it in C-Tier. But if you can controll it it‘s an easy S-Tier. That‘s why I can‘t relate so much on some of those opinions. But otherwise it‘s overall not bad.
How do you control the side-to-side recoil unless you have macros? It’s harder to deal with due to it’s randomness than vertical recoil. All higher-recoiling guns have this problem, and that’s why I put them lower. I’m sure you’re right, but since I’m not a psychic I can’t correct for shot-by-shot horizontal offset on the fly.
With the ZK I have the say... all the sweats you run into run the ROF tree. The 40 round accuracy tree totally has it's uses sure with how little it moves, but oh god do those people destroy servers with that higher rpm. Honestly I don't know how they do it. I have better luck with the fast RPM 20 round tommy over the light bolt ZK. after post edit addendum: I've been in this game it's whole life and yeah, this gun was by far the best gun for a very long while for the medic... and really the light bolt was the way to go. It's just that last nerf they gave it was so jarring for me and apparently these other people can just brave through it. *also I just really liked trying to use the Suomi more because well... Suomi... but they killed that too for the fun rpm*
I have heard a lot that the ZK-383 with light bolt is the top tier medic primary, seemingly because it still has really good recoil compared to other guns of that fire rate plus possibly you’d get more use out of the bipod. But at the end of the day, I would rather have the 50 round mag Tommy gun, and as with all of my Tier Lists, it’s much more based on what I like and how I like them rather than what’s “objectively” the best. And I figure yeah, the Suomi is pretty dang good too, but not really my style. But almost anything can work for any player.
Ah yes, the Type 2A . One of the most disgusting guns to "grace" the game. I also to refuse to use it on grounds of principle. BUT i do use the Suomi with light bolt because shooting bees at the enemy will aways be funny. Sub from me :3
Mem I feel like you'd be fucking hilarious getting high as balls or more tipsy than arthur in the saloon and Try and hit these long distance "CONTROLLED " smg shots 😂
Oh trust me, I know that much. If this tier list was purely about utility I would have put it in A tier. But this video is also pretty heavily opinion based.

That makes sense, I’m just obsessed with recoil reduction, and if I want a suppressed weapon I typically go Commando Carbine.
I used the MAB because it’s Italian and open bolt, and seeing a forgotten weapons video one time
That’s as good a reason as any
The delisle carbine is beautiful
Someone’s at your door 25:47 😳
like ur video so much. but i have lots of disagrement with u.
Type 2A player detected. Opinion rejected.
@@titowid lol
Im really interested in BfV stats that are wrong from what we are told.
P.S. the bipod on type100 is chop sticks, I promise
We need a log or mmg tier list
That's gonna be my next upload (Probably)
After playing another game enlisted in seeing how inaccurate some of the guns names are like the Type 2A when that guns looks nothing like that that’s a Type 1 smg and it has 570 rpm at most
I can only imagine how op a ppsh would have been if bfv ever made it to the Russian update. I forever yearn for another drum mag
The kp31 is same ppsh :v
@@hanhphucgiandon975 Not exactly, the ppsh had an even faster fire rate than the kp31.
Commando carbine truly is S tier
Amen
Ay dog thank for the medic love lol I love being a medic in every battlefield makes me feel useful lol
This is a COMMANDO CARBINE COMMENT. All decibels are hereby REMOVED.
Rant on the type 2A reminded me of the pain those of us still in BF1 experience every day with the SMG08. Wish someone could ban that gun entirely already
This guy's voice and sense of humour remind me of Goniloc.
Best video for medic class
Very kind of you to say so
So, this is where all of those hopeless battle medics come from.
Criminal that they never added the PPSH-41
Agreed
But the M1928A1 doesnt give use the option of the classic foward grip to give it that distinct and classic Tommy gun vibe.
F tier.
I love the MAB 38 simply becuase i liked to use it in sniper elite 4 and i like italian weaoosn in general
That's understandable
Professor Mem! Idk if you've changed something since this video but personally I think if you lowered your sensitivity a little bit your aim would be a lot better! great vid btw
Tommy gun in B tier is diabolical
Inherent Carcano Supremacy , baby .It actually allows me to use a Bolt-Action Rifle .
Incredibly sad no Eastern front
I a different universe had dice not abandoned this game with the russian dlc I guarantee we couldve gotten the German Sten rip off. Instead of a mag on the side it has the MP40 mag layout
That would’ve been so great, I’d have loved to see it in game.
good video
I'm glad you think so
@@professormemsclass Thanks for replying, reminded me to sub
The way the mag is used as a grip with the mp24 kills the gun, it’s way way cooler the traditional normal way
With the ZK I have the say... all the sweats you run into run the ROF tree.
They should’ve given the Jungle Carbine a bayonet.
Keep up the content, i see a next content creator
I sure hope so ;P
Ah yes, the Type 2A . One of the most disgusting guns to "grace" the game. I also to refuse to use it on grounds of principle. BUT i do use the Suomi with light bolt because shooting bees at the enemy will aways be funny. Sub from me :3
I'm curious if you where to give the bayonet to the battle medic would it extend the range of the bayonet charge?
That is an excellent question... I wouldn't assume so but I honestly have no idea
i always see people using the zk on console, says it's the most meta smg out there
The Light Bolt (high fire rate) version seems to be in the meta on PC
Personaly, type 100 is the best smg. Zk is overrated.
it very much is not overrated my friend, it is the best gun in the game@@Gustavo_Fringus
This guy reminds me of a gamer version of SamOnellaAcademy
O_o very high praise indeed
Dang this is recent for bfv thanks m8 and I use a grease gun
Excellent choice of armament.
@@professormemsclass fully gold plated so now my grease gun is worth 10 dollars instead of 4
Mem I feel like you'd be fucking hilarious getting high as balls or more tipsy than arthur in the saloon and Try and hit these long distance "CONTROLLED " smg shots 😂
Finding your channel has been a gem. I'm finally going through all your tier list videos and they are killing me with laughter 😂😂
For the right reasons I hope
@@professormemsclass11:48 that's all I have to say 😂
im gonna have to say that putting the type 2a in F tier is criminal, if you play the game aggressively its extremely good
Oh trust me, I know that much. If this tier list was purely about utility I would have put it in A tier. But this video is also pretty heavily opinion based.
F stands for fuckoff. Type 2 is there in the right spot. The ultimate "I cannot play myself, so I chose the hold mouse 1 and it does everything for me gun"
the type 2a is the pocket MG42 added shortly after all the guns got casatrated with a rusty butter knife.
