Erm you’ve been learning wrong bro. Powers built from the back not the front. You want to do pulling exercises and when you launch forward with your right you lean slightly back with your left this sends the snap into your right for more power works for hooks and uppercuts… that’s the new science anyways
Good tips but I'd caution against jumping straight into dumbell power snatches without guidance if you've never done one before. Like a lot of Crossfit moves there's a lot that can go wrong, especially transitioning from the "snatch" to the "catch". It should also be said that glute and hip training are a must, power comes from the floor up and a great deal of that power transitions from the legs through the pivot of the hips
these are exactly what my boxing coach taught me. this guy is no fake. these workouts are the most effective punching power workout
