I added sour cream, chopped green onions, and seasoning to mine. They're delicious 😊
Did you use sour cream in place of the mayo? I'm trying to avoid the mayo
@@barbarahampton771 I only used sour cream. I do not like mayo. I should have explained better.
@@starwars_chola7001 I was hoping that's what you meant. I love mayo but I'm doing the carnivore diet and sour cream, which I love more, makes it a good carnivore option. Thank you so very much!
@@barbarahampton771 ohh ok, gotcha! I don't know too much about the carnivore diet. I did add some ranch powder with it and it was divine
@@starwars_chola7001 Darn it. I can't do the ranch but it sounds heavenly 😁
I’ve been on Carnivore and keto for years and I’ve heard of these, but I’ve never actually seen the recipe and after watching this I immediately got up and checked and realized I had all the ingredients and within 20 minutes I was sitting down and having a fabulous lunch, thank you very much!
Nicely done! One note: it is much easier if you mix/mash the chicken, egg, mayo together FIRST and then fold in the cheese. This not only makes the chicken chunks easier to mash, but the long, unbroken cheese strands makes the inside seem "cheesier".
Okay you sound like you know what you're talking about I will try that first to be honest but I'm loving it
Fold in the cheese?
I love you
@@flexsealman7096 don't smash it into the mixture, just put it in and fold the food around it to mix it.
I don't know what that means 😂😂😂@@flexsealman7096
So many make videos for "Simple" recipes, but you actually understood the assignment. Excellent video! Looks tasty!
Agree! I’m going to try this
As a widower, I hate cooking for one, but I wanna say thank you for this
I made using pepper jack cheese and green onions. Delicious!
Yum
Ooo! I have pepper jack cheese in the freezer! I'll use the cheddar next time! The pj will be mixed with enough other ingredients that I'll still get the kick-- but I won't spontaneously combust! I love spice-- it just doesn't like me much anymore (enjoy it while you can younglings!🙃)... Take good care, all!😊
FINALLY, I have all these aat the same time so I will make this today. Never fails, I'll have everything except one or two things and then forget all about it and never make them. I was about to make chicken salad anyway so let's fry these into chicken sandwiches instead!
I needed a recipe to use w/ canned chicken. Thank you.
Smells awful. Don't eat chicken that smells awful. Not normal and potentially fatal😊
Wow...pressed them thin, added salt and pepper. Cooked dark brown and crispy with a side of sour cream. I think you changed my life
Oh the sour cream would go well
I would have thought you would need bread crumbs but apparently not 😄 Im going to add onions though definitely.
I never know what to do with this stuff other than chicken salad. Thank you!!
I mix it with vegetables and bake it.
I give it to the kitty.
Its great for japanese curry.
@@ffs6158 oh interesting! Will research that
Great in soup
Thanks, single guy here just wants to keep it simple, and you did it.
If you have an Aldi near you...Naan bread, kale pesto, sausage (or meat of your choice), cheese...bake at 375° and it's delicious...so easy. Little pizzas. I also add peeled garlic chunks and pineapple... All products available at Aldi.
No disrespect to content creator, I just like to spread the joy. 🎉
When I use canned chicken (frequently) I like to give it a quick water rinse and drain. Eliminates some of the saltiness. 👍🏻
Also rinsing gets rid of that gross yellow fat film
That's the low sodium can.
Try using leftover roast chicken.
@@katharinesaville6145 Much preferable than canned Chicken! You know it's bad when it smells worse than canned Cat food!
Be too
i’ve been looking for the term “Simple” for this recipe and no one except you understood the term simple lol well done mate!
This is actually the best recipe I've seen for canned chicken. Great idea. Thanks for sharing it!!!😊
I love the simplicity of your videos❤. Your get straight to the point. You have the directions and they don’t go fast on the screen. I love the music not loud blasting. ❤
Oh my! Great idea! And I have lots of canned chicken. What I do, though, is save the liquid and use it to boil rice. Gives it a yummy flavor!!
I have dozens of cases of it. As a prep.
The liquid is just chicken broth, so many uses!
I always give the juice to my cat with his dry kibbles
@@vanpearsall that's what I do also, the cats love it .
@@davidboyce8683 I know He knows exactly what I’m gonna do with it. It’s like he can’t wait for it.
Nice, I'll probably put them on a hamburger bun with some lettuce, tomato and maybe more mayo.
yea i made some mayo and franks hot sauce dip it was good that way
Add bacon too.
This is a beautiful, healthy, high protein low carb recipe. Why would you ruin it by eating it on a bun when you can just use the lettuce?
@@decolonizeEverywhereSome of us workout and can handle eating a sandwich.
@@MichaelLawrenceMagic working out doesn't mean that a insulin Spike doesn't do damage to your body. An imagine how healthy you would be if you were working out and not poisoning your body
Thank you for the recipe. I made it my own by using Costco rotisserie chicken chicken breast and thighs to keep it juicy instead of mayo I used Greek yogurt and I added garlic and green onions, yummy ! Thank you, I was inspired
For better consistency, I recommend mixing the egg & mayo first, then add & mix with chicken, lastly add/mix the shredded cheese. A little poultry seasoning &/or celery salt would bring out a good flavor too.
I served it on a toasted bun w/letuce tomato bacon & mayo everyone loved it. Thanks
My pescatarian husband won't eat chicken, but this looks like it will work with tuna. Thank you; looks absolutely scrumptious!
Works good with the packet of salmon too.
I saw someone make this with tuna! They made it into fish sticks instead of patties.
Watched it, cooked it, ate it!!! It was very good! Thanks
Thanks for a video that gives the whole picture without the instructions over the screen blocking it:) And, slow, concise and simple-easy to get the info!!! Can’t wait to try this‼️
Thank you for your quick easy concise video with no talkin! Good job those look delicious
I agree...so many videos have too much music and chatter
Made these this morning. Used extra seasonings and mozzarella cheese since it’s what I had on hand. Topped with a sunny side up egg and we had a lovely breakfast! Will for sure make this again. Thank you 🎉
Casual Cooking, today I actually bought several cans of Chicken Breast. I am excited about your recipe and I will definitely be trying this out. Of-course, I'll add my usual, onions, garlic, a sprinkle of bread crumbs and tons of seasoning.
Garlic is definitely a must! I love garlic on any kind of meat because it seems to make the meat taste meatier.
I made this recipe but i added seasoning and some bread crumbs the family loved it!! My suggestion though is use a non stick pan
Which seasonings did u use
My cast iron pans are non stick, I properly seasoned them.😊
I did the same, but instead of adding bread crumbs to the mix, I covered them in bread crumbs!
@@ronyclassen-re2jv if your cast iron pan is seasoned properly that's exactly what it is, nonstick. And also completely non-toxic. Something you can't say about any non-stick pan regardless of what they print on the package. You can fry an over easy egg in a well seasoned cast iron pan.
I never thought to use canned chicken, always made Salmon patties. Simple thanx I subscribed.
My mom used to make this with canned tuna. It's good, too.😊
Looks good. This will be definitely added to the camping menu.
IN MY VIEW
I am so glad you made this video. I got different canned meat for future use. I know NOW how to cook the canned chicken.❤
I made these in my waffle maker and they were fantastic! I added 2 eggs, though.
2 eggs for one can? I was thinking the same thing during the video that I might add an egg.
Genius idea. I never get to use mine.
Thank you for filming you opened the can 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I went through multiple videos just to see that, specifically wanted to see how the chicken looks out of the can. It doesn’t look bad and your recipe looks really good. I’m going to try it soon. Thanks again 🤗
I've got like 8 cans of mushy Hormel chicken breast I don't think I recommend it. Hormel ham is pretty good to have a couple cans around for things like fried rice and whatnot. It's good as tidbits added to pasta or whatever. Tidbits. Now I have to figure out what to do with my canned Hormel chicken and I will never buy it again if I don't have to. Costco chicken canned chicken I believe is better than Hormel. Shrug. Live and learn. I'm going to try and make chicken nuggets or something out of it.
CC, what's up. I wrote about your recipe and now my sister bought me a XL air fryer at Walmart two weeks ago. and when I make my grocery list next week. I will write you back and let you know how it turns out. I also could make this into a casserole dish with cream of chicken mushroom soup.,I ordered silicon casserole dishes. from Amazon. 😊
Simple and to the point. No fancy fresh stuff. So for about 14 to 16 oz of cooked shredded or 2 large cans of chicken just double the recipe. Great starting point , can add whatever you like and have on hand :)
Thanks for this video. I'm gonna try this tonight. I get canned chicken splurged and ordered the can colander. It's going to be so helpful when cooking tuna and canned chicken dishes.
Thanks again.
This was so good and crunchy, thanks for the recipe! 😋
I made this recipe some time, i would make like a full sandwich, when done . Pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes. ❤and add some hot sauce to the mixture for some heat 🔥. and some ❤Lay's potato chips and my favorite two drinks, root beer soda or grape soda. haven't drank cream soda in s long time. 🤫. my Friday dinner thanks. 😊
I added panko instead of cheese and seasoning to mine turned out really well thanks.
Looks good! I like to make mine with frozen spinach and mozzarella.
Could I use Feta cheese?
@@Karelife I think so, but feta doesn’t melt quite like mozzarella so the patty probably won’t be quite as congealed by the end
Excellent idea!
I bet those ARE good! I’m going to try to make some! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!
wow that is a great fast simple recipe, easier than salmon patties and better, no cleaning the fish either. thanks, i use the can lid and squeeze the liquid out If you are careful that works really well to get all the liquid out. i like them crisp so i make mine smaller and a bit thinner but that is just a matter of taste. i will probably make these pretty often.
They look delicious!!
I may try this recipe, as I do have 2 cans of chicken .
I hate to cook , but this recipe is so simple and easy!
😋😋😋😋
Just made this for Me and my family and they are super good make sure you get them crispy there fire 🔥💯
I just made these for dinner and Holy Crap they are amazing
Looks great! Easy too.....and you can add any seasoning to your preference. Will try it today! Thank you.
Me too about the comments! I add lots of things along the way of blending it all. I understand the role of the right moisture, herbs….powdered veggie flavors. Take your time to create a mixture that is dry and wet enuf……for the final frying. Learn by experience AND……you can always put a tasty topping on it….for the day……until u experiment again. Keep going.
Thank you for this. I just bought like 30 cans of these from Costco for my low carb journey.
Simple, and delicious. Perfect and thank you.
Looks great .. I have so many of these cans.. u Gave me an idea
My sister gave me a can of this chicken and I didn't have a clue what to do with it but now I do. Definitely adding some seasonings to the mix.
This looks wonderful. Do you have info on how to make it in an airfryer without the oil?
I give the juice to my dog. She loves it poured oon her food
I always give the juice to the dogs, juice never goes down my drain.😮
My cat want juice from EVERYTHING
@@sanja6872yes makes the drain stink

I pour it into baggies and freeze it. Later when a recipe calls for chicken broth, I got right in the freezer. I waste nothing!
These look really good, easy enough and I just happen to have all of the ingredients on hand.
I tried this but put them on a edged metal pan and baked them in the oven turning them once through the cooking process and they came out non-greasy and crispy. I also put a box of Chicken Stove Top stuffing mix in with them and they turned out awesome.
what temp you bake?
350
Panko would work for oven baked patties too, but I bet the spices in the stuffing mix go well with the meat. The egg and cheese need the hotter temperature of a skillet to solidify without some bread crumbs or starchy grain to absorb some of the moisture. It works without starchy ingredients in a skillet with chicken because it's not too moist once the liquid is drained. If you're making patties with canned fish like salmon or tuna, a skillet might not even get hot enough to cook off enough moisture to get it to stick together and not crumble. I use oatmeal and egg when I make pan fried patties with canned fish.
This recipe looks simple, and delicious.
I can't wait to try it. I guess you can use any kind of cheese. I would add a little onion to.
Great keto or lo carb option!
Replace the toxic Mayo with some sour cream and cook them in bacon fat and it goes from Dirty keto all the way to carnivore. And the flavor goes up to over 9000!
@@decolonizeEverywhere how is mayonnaise toxic it's basically just whipped eggs
Great video, thank you. I keep the liquid for adding extra flavor to soups, stews, rice and lentils.
I make these with can tuna and add a smash avocado 🥑 instead of the mayo, and bake them for them to be healthier.
Thanks for the idea. Think I'll try with asiago and parm. cheese.
I made this recipe i used sourcream instead of mayo and they were delicious thank you for sharing your recipe friend.👍❤
Wow that looks delicious I never thought of this thanks for sharing your recipe ideas I got to try this.
This recipe looks nice and simple, I'm going to try it soon. Thanks!
Looks wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
I am so in on this. Use canned chicken quite a bit, and this looks great.
Great keto quick dinner.
That's a good basic mix and leaves it open to an individual's endless variations. I'd add some spring onions and herbed stuffing, or try mixing the mixture with a mixer so it was broken down a little more and lighter in texture and make small patties, then whip up a garlic aoli sauce to go with it with mayo, lemon juice, and finely minced garlic. I was given a bunch of these cans of chicken from the food bank and now I know what to do with them!
i put can chicken on stove with cut up onions green peppers cook together then make your yellow rice when done add your chicken onion peppers today makes a great meal i only make it this way so easy
I can’t wait to make this thank you very much what are the sides to these Fabulous patties. I’m toast sour cream I don’t know
Tried this recipe tonight. I used ground pork mixed with buffalo and moose. Instead of mayo I used miracle whip. Duck egg made all the difference...so rich. Asiago/parmigiano reggiano/cream cheese blend. Deep fried the patties in lard. SO GOOD! Thanks for the recipe 😉
Hope you took your cholesterol medicine for dessert :) I would love to taste that Buff and Moose separately!!!
Yum! Can’t wait to make these. Thanks for making and sharing video.
This looks so dang good! TFS ❤
I will try this, I am heartened by all the comments about added seasonings
I have a can in my cupboard, I think I'm gonna try this. Looks really good!!!
That was the cleanest cast iron pan ever. You should make a video on how to clean and season the pan
From looking at the thumbnail I thought you dredged them in pork panko. That's what I'll do when I make mine. Thanks!
These look good, ill have to try them. I wonder if you could add ranch powder or if it would burn?
I like your idea. Looks really good!
I was using for quesadillas, but switched to grilled strips! Nice now I have a recipe to use my canned chicken!!!
how about rolling the chicken ball mixture around in a little flour first before frying ,to give it a crunchy coating?
Mmm, it looks good. I'm going to give that a try!✌️
Can you do this with tuna as well? I don’t have bread crumbs that’s why
Yessa! Those look great! My mouth is watering while I'm commenting! I'm getting up to put these ingredients on my shopping list!
Tried it! Love it! Thank you!
I would use white meat from a chicken roaster. Canned chicken even at Aldi is very expensive. I will definitely make with parmigiana cheese.
Looks delicious. I could definitely see my family loving this recipe. It would be so good with spinach, onions, and spices 🤤
I love this idea for a quick meal! Tfs.
Saw this video, had to try them........just got back from the kitchen and these didn't take long to make. They look just like the ones in the video and they taste great. It, to me, tastes like a cheesy breaded chicken patty without the breading. Gonna try making a sandwich with these and some thousand island dressing maybe.
Ooooo, thank you, this just came back around again! Excited to make it today, thank you so much🎉😅
Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Where did you get the czn strainer you're using to strain the tuna.
Looks delicious I'm definitely going to try this I'm always looking for something new and quick ❤️
Looks Delicious, I will try this recipe. Thank you!❤
can you substitute something for the mayo that isn't a vinegar based condiment or sour creme? Maybe like cream of chicken soup?
Loved this... great job
I'm making this for my dinner this afternoon. with fried potatoes and a vegetable, it's like making a recipe my mom made salmon patties. I hate cooking on the weekdays till Friday. I wish I had some coleslaw with this also. 😊thanks
These look great! And can't get much easier unless someone else makes them 😁
This guy understands the struggle and works around it.. 😂
Can you make this without the cheese and chicken, and with egg whites instead of whole eggs?
I went to get my can chicken. I had only 1 5oz can!! I had can ham. So your can was, 12.5 oz. So i did my 1 can chicken, n 2 can ham. Equal 15 oz. A bit more then yours. I did the ingredients you did. Except i added onion powder. I really needed 2 eggs make it more patty like. So mine was like a loose meat. Not patty because i should of added 2 eggs.
But oh my gosh!! Delicious!! It was sooooo tasty, it was one of those meals where its just 1 more bite, 1 more bite, because it was sooooo Delicious!!
Thank you for your recipe!!
My ham was cubed can ham. So it was easy to mash like the chicken.
Yum can't wait to make these and experiment with adding stuff in.
Awesome! Thank you and God bless all!
I add salt and pepper and roll into balls like you do sausage balls and bake. Yummy !
This looks so good!!
YOOOOOO, thank you homie, I shall be making these soon, imma add some seasoning though, some garlic and onion powder, and maybe some type of spice.
