IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING SOUND FROM THE GAMING PC on the STREAMING PC:
    - Ensure you have set the audio device on your Gaming PC as the capture card (make sure all your games/apps that you are running are doing this too).
    - Ensure you have made an “audio output” source in your OBS/Streamlabs on the streaming PC.

For the screen projection, it makes what’s appearing on your middle monitor appear on your live stream. You don’t actually hit stream or record though. It just sits there as a screen projection it doesn’t really use any extra resources doing that.
Without running screen projection it will just show a blank desktop of your gaming pc not what’s happening in your game

When streaming and recording simultaneously on my 3060, I take a 15 to 20% performance hit to my framerate, which is still impressive that it's only that much of a loss, but I only had 120 FPS in WZ to begin with. Losing 15 to 20% performance is alot at that low of a framerate, so a two pc setup is absolutely beneficial and objectively SENSIBLE. I know from experience. Have you benchmarked your performance hit when streaming and recording on one GPU? If it's a 0% loss, which it won't be, then you can say it's not sensible, but only then. 🤷
