This Improved LMU for me everywhere, thanx for putting in the work so we all can begin to experience this title the way it should. I may have MSAA on override or enhance in control panel, so may need to lower it there also.

you are a legend mate! ps: on my moza r5 i run inverted force feedback as well. I will try your settings as well because i have now everything set between 175 and 200% since R5 is 5.5Nm. Feels really great BUT after 30min session the base is around 50degrees which is still fine… I have now ordered upgrade to R12 just to enjoy this title better since its really fun to drive. Thanks once again!
All good brother, I am not sure how MOZA works as I have only tried the fanatec DD1 in LMU, just be careful is all.
When the game released last week my friend who uses simucube broke his thumb because his “invert force feedback” was turned off and the wheel snapped to the left on him. Just look after yourself👍

The best advice about graphical settings for people all around sim world. Keep your FPS not lower than your monitors refresh rate (Hz).
After trying that, you will always notice how disconnected you become with DD wheel, when FPS is lower than refresh rate.

Hey Chris welcome mate! You can check this forum post about how to change your mirrors. You basically have to bind keyboard keys to seat movement, then hold the appropriate Alt, Shift, control key etc with the movement keys to do it: community.lemansultimate.com/index.php?threads/side-mirror-adjustment-possible.254/

That would be the head movement settings, make them all 0
For monitor width are you using the panel size or the entire thing? For me, im not using a bezel free it, and it set up perfectly right away if I used the panel size plus the bezel gap measured at 5/8 of an inch.
Also what do you mean by inside angle? Wouldn't that be 140deg?
I believe I used the dimension that’s shown on the actual fact sheet of the manual, so I’m unsure if they go by panel or overall width for that.

Hey brother thanks for watching! In that settings json file, there could be a setting for mirror quality I believe I have seen it. The file is so big though so I lost it so have a look😂

this afternoon I searched the file but I couldn't find the setting to increase the resolution of the side mirrors...maybe it's not there!
i was matching your settings and was getting 11 fps lol, turned the in game settings back how it was for me and there is indeed an fps boost. still need to tweak it to get to 60 (im at 50 now, before you it was 30) but this helped alot! thank you :)
Thanks for watching mate and sorry to hear this! Are you using the same pc specs as me? Which scenario did you test your fps in? (Single player/ multiplayer etc)
@@alexkayracing no isnt same specs, and im fairly new to pc so i was just trying out tbh and have a lot to learn. i use rtx4060 and amd 5 7600 , tripple 32" , and i tested in multiplayer since thats a bit quicker to load in too.
@@Jumpy-print hey mate no problem! Yeah RTX 4060 is a bit lower in terms of performance to 3080 however it’s still a very good card you have! Try putting some settings like shadows etc down to medium, or reduce some of the ultra settings to high etc you will get it 👍
@@alexkayracing yeah with your help from this vid i will defnitly get there :) quick question tho, the in game mirrors look amazing, but do you know a way to turn them down a bit? i think that also might help. in game i can only gind the option to turn them off, and in the files im afraid to change anything myself lol. but again, thank you verry much dude :)

I think I remember that happening once but restarting the game fixed it. Only happened once to me
Thank you Alex, all working for me correct as you told in this video. But I have Thrustmaster T300 RS GT with addon Ferrari SF 1000 and this wheel needs TelemetryTool v13.2 for good function of display and LEDs of wheel. There is only support for rFactor2 but its possible to use it for Le Mans Ultimate too same way like we play rFactor 2. Off topic: I am very poor driver so I lost Licence Safety rank to B0 and present days I can drive just beginners rides. 😞

I still did not find the code to paste in LMU User Data Player for the DLL 2nd paste, can you please send?? Also I have buttkicker can you do a video on that for LMU??
When you join the discord it will ask you if you want access to the “sim racing library” click yes for that. If you still can’t get access let me know in general chat in the discord and I will give you access :)
Thx m8! Will definetly be tweaking the Sim with these settings. Especially crew chief, & tweaking my DD1 settings further :)
But still struggeling massivly with getting the Car Setup screens working properly, even with setting post effects to Low, any help herw would be much apperciated :)
Hey brother I had the same issue but changing the game to windowed mode and turning vsync on helped it ALOT. The setup menu is still a little bit laggy in game now but no where near as bad as it was before making the change

I have the lag in the menu and loading for the race any solution
Turn on vsync and run in windowed mode it should help a bit
Turning off the HUD while driving helpes a lot with fps also. I usually toggle it on when I need to change something. Gives me around 20 fps more when everything is off. This may help someone if struggling with fps.

I seem to cannot find your settings in the simhub setup on your discord. How about copy and paste in the description itself :)
It’s a big wall of text, the channel in the discord is at the bottom of the list called lmu-simhub-file

how did you get the 120hz refresh rate to pop up? for some reason every time i load the game i have to go into settings and re put 7680x1440 hit apply then multi view and hit apply. it never saves this settings for me. it also shows 0hz wheres yours shows 120hz.
Hey mate that’s a weird one I haven’t seen that. What you can do is in that DX11 file, all of these settings are in that too. So try typing them in that and see if that works

Great Video, but when assign a button for triple setup up, diagram does not open?
You have to press control + the keybind
I can’t get the diagram to open either tried pressing control with the bind key, tried a different bind key even tried it on the wheel and it just doesn’t work.
As Alex said you have to push control key plus the button assigned like T
so it's control key + T at the same time
Yeh Iv done that and it doesn’t come up and Iv running in administration
not sure if window mode makes a difference from full screen or borderless mode
I found LMU to run great. I have a 6950XT, 49” ultra wide so 5120x1440 and I’m getting 120fps with head room most of the time on mostly high settings, low reflections. Online seems to keep around the same FPS. Offline, with cars, little hit to frame rate but still super smooth.

@@alexkayracing i have an 7800 xt with a 58003xd and a 34 ultra wide 3440*1440 but i only get 50-70 when cars aorund me and 70 -90 alone the same in rf2
how's that possible in acc, ams2 AC all runs at max setting with 144 fps i used a 2600 ryzen before and had the same fps in LMU and rf2.my FPU is at 99 percent my CPU at 30 how can this be my 7800xt is bottlenecking my CPU?

Try to lower graphics or try to run windowed mode with vsync on

@@alexkayracing Hi, my pc is a Ryzen 5 3600x, 16Gb ram and a Sapphire Pulse RX 5700XT and as like you a 1440p triple screen, I've tried on native and scalated with Radeon SuperResolution, the 5minutes that the game runs, it does it smoothly, but I when I take the car out of the garage, two corners and then the game crashes 😫😫😫😵

They are both different and good in their own way. In terms of force feed back I think LMU is better than ACC
Hi Alex. If you use Nvidia Surround u can get another 30-40 fps. In LMU full screen, v-sync off. With my I7 11700, 32GB Ram, Asus RTX 3080 10GB, triple screen 32"- 1440p -165Hz, i have between 140 -170 FPS offline and 120-150 online, with about same settings at yours, just post effects to low, view mirrors distance 100. Same in ACC, with Nvidia Surround will get more fps. All the best and keep doing what you do.
Hey bro thanks for watching! I am using nvidia surround but for some reason I found I had more fps using windowed and vsync! It was very weird lol. I’m getting new PC this week though so let see how things change. Thanks for your help!
texture filter makes 1fps max fps drop. better to run at x16 over x4

Unless I have a max frame rate and plenty of headroom, I'd never use ultra in any title especially sim racing games if im below 120fps average

Thanks for watching mate,again I can’t explain the technical side as my knowledge is limited, but it’s similar for me how my OBS will perform poorly but if I run OBS as as administrator then it runs really well
@@alexkayracingsame as stream deck. Without admin privileges, half the hot keys don’t hook into the games.

Running a program as administrator puts the game at the top of the priority list for the hundreds of applications and processes that run on your computer at any given second. It sounds intrusive to PC noobs but it’s just saying that the CPU, RAM, GPU, etc will be able to allocate any amount the game needs to run at max performance.
