Hey mate thanks for watching! The only issue with that method is screen glare. The key to avoiding screen glare from the hue lights is to have them pointing downwards, otherwise the light will shine onto the screen and ruin the immersive effect. So to avoid this we have to make sure the lights are pointing downwards. In order for your method to look visually correct (right light shining onto left side for example), the hue lights would need to be facing at a sideways angle; and it would mostly likely cause the light to glare on the bottom part of the left screen. If you can manage to angle the lights in a way that they point diagonally towards the opposite side then your method you mentioned above is definitely better!

They are so fun aren’t they! Especially when you do really long races where you have to plan your virtual energy etc!

Hey mate it’s currently bugged at the moment and the devs are aware of the issue👍 in the meantime time you can still customise your triples, you just need to enter the values manually in that DX11 JSON file

@@alexkayracing a thats a bug… (its not a bug - its a feature :D hahahah) using the json file is fine. the issue is only that when i try to use „different“ settings at some point it just takes same value for all tree monitor which is wrong. I‘ll just wait until bug gets fixed. for now i‘m more then happy how i did it but i managed to do it only because of you guide! thanks Alex!

@@kitmilo okay in that case it’s still okay, you just can’t get that little triples window in game. So you will have to do it by altering those screen parameters in the file I showed in the video. It’s a bit annoying cos you’ll have to keep going in and out of the game while you’re dialing in the changes, but once it’s done you’ll never have to change it again

Hey Matt thanks for watching mate! The Lamborghini falls into the same group as the Cadillac/bmw/porsche. Basically any car that starts up in electric mode follows that same rule. That being said, the Lamborghini was the final “lmdh” car, the only 2 remaining hypercars coming to the game are the alpine and issotta, and they are the same as the Ferrari/toyota/puegeot.

Yeah I love the sound! I’m doing a video on what’s new in the current patch that accompanied this dlc. The sluggish menu is pretty much gone completely (at least for me) the devs fixed the file that was causing the issue!

I guess it’s like any sim, you will get good races and bad races. If I race against fast people that I know, then it’s very good clean racing

There’s no lambo Hypercar in AMS2 yet is there? Or have you been playing the beta build maybe

But there's no comparison between the two sims. rFactor 2 and LMU are on a level only reached by iRacing.

I am doing long term review of this wheel so we will find out if the overheating issue happens. For me during the testing so far it’s enough happened, the wheelbase is only warm but not hot. If you are just wanting to do drifting etc and not be competitive then this wheelbase will be fine for you. I can’t comment on CSL DD cos I’ve never used it before. I’ll keep an eye out to see if this overheat issue you mentioned happens👍

Yeah you will be 100%, medium tires can be about 3 laps before the car feels really okay to push

I prefer the new Peugeot, to be honest. Way easier to drive. But it seems, that I´m not able to drive aero-cars in a fast way. :D It seems, that i should stick with rF2 and some DTM Mods of the early 90´s. :D

I tested the Lambo at Imola and the Peugeot at Monza under the same track conditions. At first glance, the Peugeot seemed much easier to drive. At least for me personally. The Lambo was way more unstable. But could be a track issue, of course. Will give them a try at the same tracks next time.

@@ZimmerZirwes yeah I feel in general the lmdh are a little more unstable compared to the LMH cars, I’m keen to try the Peugeot tonight and see what it’s like, thanks!

Thanks for your feedback mate! Yes the r5 is a great little wheelbase but there’s definitely some changes that MOZA could make to make it a completely solid experience. I definitely agree with you on skipping the Logitech/thrustmaster non-DD wheels as they are just old and outdated technology which is still heavily overpriced for what it is. In terms of better gear being better in the long run, I think this depends. There are people on iRacing with 7k irating that use Logitech gear driven wheelbases. I think as long as you become used to your equipment then you can become competitive. I honestly think 5nm is more than enough to let you push the car or its limit this days. Let me know your thoughts 👍

Hi Jufe, MOZA contacted me and sent me this wheelbase a couple weeks ago, so I agreed to review it. There are plenty of people out there who may not be caught up on all the sim racing gear that’s available on the market, or they may only be particular TH-camrs that they watch and rely on for advice about this stuff. All I can do is be completely with my reviews and show everything, the good and the bad; to help people know if a product is worth their money or not👍

Thanks, makes sense. It would be great if you get the r3 to do a comparison between the 2 as I have never seen anyone do it, and since the r3 is actually 4nm, it would be very interesting for people who are casual but want the real feel. I have plenty of friends confused about the r3 vs r5 choice.

@@jufejufinho no problem mate👍 yeah I’m not sure about the r3 personally because even if it were 4nM that’s still barely more ffb than a Logitech or thrustmaster wheel. Personally I think 5 nM is as low as you should go. If console capability is an important factor I’m sure MOZA will end up releasing a higher nM console wheel in the future, personally I would skip the r3 and wait though.

You mean your using 4 monitors for the actual gaming pc itself? You would need some kind of HDMI hub. Im not sure where you would mount the screen for the streaming PC though, it would have to be off to the side or something.

You can definitely see the difference. I’m currently reviewing the Moza R5 wheelbase and the pedals are not loadcell. In ACC I can use them okay, but in LMU I just keep locking up everywhere cos I have no resistance in the brake pedal .

@@alexkayracing exact. Because in ACC you can use a button for breaking. No pedals needed. on / off is enough.

That can also be okay, in the example exercises were those braking points I gave about the same as for you in iRacing? If so then you are fine

@@alexkayracing they are earlier than where I brake in iracing. That's what threw me off so much the first time I drove on lmu. Like for entry to le combes I brake just after the curb starts on the left in iracing

@@10mmGR yeah that’s extremely late for a braking point, I think even an alien driver wouldn’t be braking there for Le Combes. Just one of the different between the two sims I guess

@@alexkayracing lol yeah I would spin the car on entry every time in lmu trying that. Eventually my stupid self finally realized it's a different sim maybe the braking points are different. Took me about 6 more laps slowly backing up the braking point to get it right

@@10mmGR yeah there’s quite a few differences between the hypercars on LMU compared to the GTP, especially the low amount of grip you have in slow corners in LMU and the way the battery deployment works compared to iRacing.
