Cpaws…I’m pretty good at comprehending these videos now a days that are NOT straight to the point but having someone like you is very refreshing. AMAZING VIDEO!! Thank you
Thank you so much homie!! You're very welcome! If you end up having any questions or just wanna say hi, you can ask me live over on Twitch www.twitch.tv/cpawsmusic :D
We use El Gato and works perfectly. The only problem is and that’s general for all cards i guess is that we are 2, on using xBox snd the other PC and we can’t record both at the same time unless we use the OBS in the PC and then synchronize in postproduction.
If you're capturing footage on 2 separate devices then yeah that's going to happen. You'd have to use discord for your friend to stream what they're playing so you can see both in say twitch or youtube.
for older capture cards, i recommend gettin' a dedicated Internal Analog capture card and De-Interlace through OBS Studio because Streamlabs don't have De-Interlacing because i've seen HDMI based capture cards even with HDMI conversions can act very funny with older signals especially when u're still sending Analog Signal but alot of HDMI based capture cards like ElGato can be problematic to older analog signals because older consoles are Interlaced by default which can be a problem even if u try to stream in 60fps and it still looks like in 30fps unless u De-Interlace, because all digital based apps and sites is not gunna read Interlaced hardware in 60fps which it's something ya didn't mentioned in ur video
@@CpawsMusic ya welcome also tha HDMI conversion, i've seen many people use, it stretches it to 16x9 when it's really 4x3 content yea sure wouldn't bother some, but it bothers me when i tried it, nope i went and got a splitter and old school TV which i still use a CRT TV today due to horrible input lag with games like DDR and not every DDR game has calibration settings
I wanna tell you thank you. Thank you so so much for all your videos as they are easy to understand and you explain everything so nicely. My gratitude to you. Thank you once again and please keep them videos coming. ❤️
Idk if you still read these comments, but instead of a computer, could I connect my console to my phone? Is it possible for me to record on my phone...
This might be a weird question. But why don't streamers use their TV to stream? All of them uses their comuputers with their PS5? I've a PS5 connected to my TV.... is it a smart way to stream from there? With camera if I don't want to use a PS5 camera?... And is it possible to connect the capture card by the TV and stream from computer from another room... I guess I would need to use a superlong wire then🤣 Just curious so many questions... thanks for the video!
Hey bro, My PC got R5 7600 +DDR5 32GB + RTX 3080 + 400Mb internet speed, I stream on yt at 1440p using OBS with a bitrate of 38000Kb/s but my streams are kinda blurry and no matter what bitrate or setting it's not getting better, what can I do to fix it ?
Are you making sure that you're watching back your YT stream at the highest quality in the preview video player? It usually defaults to like 360p or something
Once you have your video capture source, “how” do you listen to the game and your computer stuff? (Like alerts and stuff). Would I just use an audio aux splitter from the tv to my audio interface/headphones? Thanks!
Personally I would just use my headphones for my pc and then set the capture card audio source to monitor and output in advanced obs audio settings mixer

This may be a stupid question or a question that you answered in the video and I just did not understand.... but! I am wanting to stream my Nintendo Switch games to Twitch. I would like the viewers to be able to hear my voice but not my friend's voices... in this case, do I have to still plug in my headset to the capture card or could I use my regular mic that I use for streaming my pc games?

@ I have the hd60 the old one my friend told me it was for recording not gaming when I use Streamlabs with my ps5 it’s a little delay maybe a little more context can help you with what I’m dealing with
am i an idiot and misunderstanding this? i need high spec pc in order to use a capture card for my streams? am i getting this right? because i've got a lenovo yoga and was hoping to use a capture card to improve the quality of my ps5 streams, i don't have the money for a pc so i saw this as a good alternative
Do they not have a device that allows you to capture your gameplay to an SD card or a flash drive rather than a PC? I don't have a gaming pc or a pc good enough to do this and wanted to start a yt channel (I do have videos but it's from livestreams thar I had to screen record and bring over and I can't do that with my Nintendo switch)
@CpawsMusic It'd be cool if someone made that and made a custom SD Card with programming to allow that. I'm pretty sure we have the technology to do that and it'd make a lot of money. Like, it can be like a capture card but it captures on the device itself and you can plug in the device afterwards into any pc and upload it so you don't need an expensive PC or a powerful enough pc to do that.
do you think streaming through OBS is necessary when you can directly stream from PS5 onto twitch? Does OBS or streamlabs just make your stream look more professional? or you think its required to grow as a streamer
Depends what your goals are, honestly it can be pretty difficult to grow if you're just streaming directly from the PS5, but if you just want to do it as a hobby then there's no problem with it!
You probably have no idea, 😉 but... theres a sizeable amount of people out there that actually know a lot about captures cards. I even bet that some of us have larger wealths of experience, years if not roughly a decade and a half ago with the dang things 😆 Anyways poking at you all in good fun. Also thank you, i got a good chuckle outta you saying elgato was the golden standard. Reason being i literally had my hd60 break and die, and then almost immediately i had the same thing happen twice in a row in almost shorter succession but with HD60S cards instead. I feel like the reason we all gravitated to the elgato cards and kept recommending them even with any issues was more so out of frustration/desperation than elgato making a genuinely good product. We really didnt have any other reliable options near that price yet. As nice as they were to have, the problem was elgato wasnt known so much for good QC back then. I feel like it was more so the fact that they were the only game in town. Anyways after all that headache and bs i wound up just caving and splurging on Avermedias pcie based solution, The Live Gamer HD. Mainly in the hopes that it being pcie, faster, and going into my computer with screws where it cant be dropped, stepped, on or have anything spilled on it provided a lot more value and reliability. But on top of it all i hoped paying significantly more could also mean a better product, better materials. I actually still have that avermedia card installed in my system right now. And if i ever find another reason to hop on any of my consoles im all setup and ready to go basically :P
@@CpawsMusic Yeah for sure, just dont miss the chance if it ever presents itself. Id say i have nothing critical to say about the live gamer hd and technicality this may not even count but i remember getting the cards drivers setup or using provided software too update or do somethin i didnt wanna go without.
