Fantastic intro Jake 👌 Chris is just amazing. Goddam beautiful. Legend doesn't even begin to describe him. His voice breaks me every time 🎵Noone sings like you anymore🎵
Great reaction! I’m also a huge Chris Cornell fan! Recommendations for other amazing performances are Soundgarden beyond the wheel live 1990 and Audioslave debut on Letterman 2002!
so he was just coming out with bad motor finger which was soundgarden mking melodic yet hard driving high vocal range rock with rebel tone and intellectual thought that mad ech word sounding like it was made for that note. just absolutely crushing butt rock yet keeping some roots to early 70s rock. then this album which is blues showing his craft id now going into th atmosphere of songwriting easy melodic tonality. in other word we at 19 20 said holy shit he wrote this in 6 weeks and it meant so much to the ones we lost.
Do you know temple of the sog is a fusion with pearl jam? If you reacted to temple of the dog, please react to pearl jam🤩 They don't used to play this song live, but it's one of the rare moment: pearl jam 20 years - hunger strike th-cam.com/video/Thpu35rVAjg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YL6S0UPeqJ1IHppg And my boys bts..kkk
The band and singer are grunge but not so much this song. Besides, grunge is as much about culture as it is a genre of music so yeah its still grunge but not a defining sound on this track, other than Chris' vocals and McCready's guitar. This song is much more blues.
Hard to believe CC actually had the flu during this performance. Legend

Mike McCready is the guitarist for Pearl Jam and TOD - he’s a monster on the guitar. One of the best ever
❤ Chris, Layne, Chester.....
Absolutely.. All gone too soon -J
Thanks for doing this one. Chris Cornell was the greatest ever!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!!
Of course!! We loved it!
Listen to Slaves & Bulldozers for a total vocal showcase by Chris. And Soundgarden started in the late 80’s…
So glad you checked this one out!
Chris' song for Andrew Wood.

1:15 Mad respect for Chris Cornell, the world of music and music lovers lost an incredibly talented musician. 💔❤️💔
Wait...did they say that color TV didn't come out until 1991!?!? Gotta be kidding...right?

Another song that highlights his voice “going off” is Cochise from Audioslave.
