Your videos on replacing the batteries on a Mudmaster and setting the hands in the correct position are impeccable. Thank you so much. You made it so easy.
A local jewelry shop wanted to charge me $40 for the two battery change. Thanks for showing us how to do it ourselves. One other difficult thing was to adjust the analog time with the digital time... It's done through holding the adjustment button until it goes into H.Set, Then push the Mode button until you see 0:00, then adjust the hands at 12:00 by using the right two buttons. Escape by using the adjust button & it should automatically set. Instructions for this are on page E-18 of the manual
Wow. Hands down the best video for this process. I paid way too much and the watch store had my watch for almost 2 months for the last battery change. You rock. Thank you sooooo much.
I looked at a number of these tutorials and this is the easiest to follow and understand, especially the part about the clasp that holds the battery in place. Thanks for sharing. 👌🏼
Thank you for this video post of changing battery on this model mudmaster. I attempted to change battery years back and destroyed it for being careless now I find myself with same model once again but this time I follow your directions thank you and keep up the good work
Very good video, you followed all steps, giving by casio, correctly. The watch should be as water resistant as it was from the factory. If I need to change the battery from my GG-1000 Mudmaster, I will do it like you in the video. Thanks for sharing this! Good job!
... excellent instructional video... I have the classic GA-100-1A1ER... your video is the only one (I could find) to clearly show how the most important modual 're-boot' is done correctly... Спасибо!
Is there a way to adjust the hour and minute indicators to their correct position? As we can see in the video, the display shows 12:49 but the analog part of the watch doesn't match that time. My watch also has this problem too.
Hi i would just like to say your video's are very informative and very helpful i am dyslexic and i can't understand reading instructions the only way i can learn is by watching or someone showing me so thanks again for the video as i have Quite a lot of casio watches and other makes
Just a quick thing, I got the same watch need to replace the batteries. But I’m wondering wether it need to do any pressure check after battery replacement?
Thank You brother, you explained this procedure excellently - thoroughly. I have two of the exact same watch model, and will change the battery myself; very helpful video :) .
Well thank you so much for this video. I was debating on whether or not I could get this watch because I don't like changing batteries but this makes it seem not too bad thanks
Hello there. I have a G-Shock GG-1000 Mudmaster and all buttons suddenly stop functioning after I replaced a new battery. It is working initially for awhile when I adjust my time settings and all other little things... Any thought what might had happened?
nice video just want to ask, my dad has the same watch but due to mud all buttons are hard to press and most of the time do not work do you suggest to clean it d.i.y or better bring it a professional
Hi.. So, my watch has only the analog part not working. How do i know which battery is for the analog and which is for the digital? Or do i just have to try out each side to see the outcome?
My fav part of this video was when you mention keeping lubricant for the evening 😂 but overall thanks for showing how to replace batteries on this mudmaster as I have had issues with this watch and changing batteries
Hi. I would not use a power tool for the screws. You have much more control if you do it by hand. I would recommend using Wera Hex keys. Their heads are designed to minimise head damage. One other thing is that the 'Philips' screws on G-Shock are actually JIS screws so you are better off buying JIS screwdrivers to reduce head damage. Thanks for the video.
This is just a DIY besides if you send this to any watch repair they will just use standard tools, if you will buy all those tools you mentioned its totally more costly it will be less cost and headache by sending this to G SHOCK service centre it self.!
Thanks for giving satisfactory answer!!! If u can do one more favour? Kindly mention the lubricant which will make my watch water resistant again, and is it also available on amazon? Thanks !
First time i did my mud master battery replacement from watch shop they charged me around 900Rs . But now i change them myself just the batteries cost 200Rs. Thank you and respect from India 🇮🇳
WOOOW nice video I have same watch exactly this wideo is very detailed and helpful, Just please one question, after opening and battery replacing does watch needs to be pressurized for waterproof testiong or not? did you pressurized your watch> thanks
Thanks for the helpful video. But now the mode dial does not point to three correct mode. I watched your video again and noticed yours does the same thing at end of video. How do I get the modes to corelate again?
Excellent video although the gravity in your country must be stronger as the old batteries didn't want to part company with the watch without gentle persuasion! The lubricant joke was noted!!! Regards from the UK.
Is the rubber ring optional because when i opened for the first time my watch same with your model it doesnt have any rubber ring seal installed inside?
I think 2 options here. You not the first who opened the case back or the ring stuck on the case and you can't see it. It's impossible for to Casio made a watch without a rubber ring.
iReviewWatches.com yes you are right my mistake i opened it back and saw it i overlooked at it. But i noticed 1 missing white plastic spacer for the wrist belt screw

One watch shop wanted to charge me $49.99 and the other, $30. Yup, going to replace this myself. Thank you for the tutorial. Spot on!
That’s disappointing. It shouldn’t be more than $20 unless it’s some laborious process like the newest Quad Sensor Mudmasters

Anyone know if the procedure is similar for solar Mudmaster G-Shock watches, like the GSG-100-1A series?
