I can’t open the battery cage . How to do it exactly please? I watched many but I can’t figure out how to unpin that cage😭 I am scared to brake something. Could you please explain where do I need to push or pull or what? Thanks
I’ve never had a watch battery last more than a couple years (including G-Shock) but I have had a motorcycle battery that had an unbelievable lifespan of about 10 years. I just wish they all did that.
I removed the battery of my Gshock to test another watch and left the battery on the other watch. Grabed a new battery and followed same steps but my watch won’t turn on. Any help?? It was working perfectly
Great. It is possible to buy only the module? I´ve a 5600ms with 3229 module with negative display. I want to replace by a positive display for a while, but I could not find a module to be sold separately.

@@vintageradar I found websites that sell original parts. They have everything, but entire modules or even LCD only. I went to ebay looking for used watches that I could get parts, nothing.

I have my original G100 from 2003. Battery still works. Haven't worn it in 15 years. Yet it still functions. Crazy

So if I change the battery on my GA2100 after its predicted 3 years battery life, it will stay remain waterproof?
If you do it properly yes. Everything has to be put back the same way (the gasket, the back, movement, case, screws, make sure to tighten them.)

I am not quite sure. It might be the CR2016 or the CR1216.
Never touch the movement or the battery with your bare fingers. The moisture of your fingers is bad for your movement and battery lifetime.
