bad instructions video you are not supposed to pull the battery as simple as that. be careful, the sticker is glued to the battery and you might pull out the entire mechanism, then gaining the opportunity to deal with connecting the sensor cable back
Thank you for this detailed video on how to service this watch - the fact that the strap is so encapsulated makes it hard to clean (mine was stinky for a while and no cleaning helped - as it turns out, it makes the ingress of filth easy but cleaning hard)

That's lubricant for watch sealing rings.

You can't, not even with the app. Watch will display empty battery icon when it's near death and that is it.
