Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner Formula

- Here is my Recipe for Deep Clean Carpet Cleaning Solution. This works great for pet odors and stains. I add about 2.5 Oz of this solution to a gallon of hot water in the reservoir of my Bissell Carpet Cleaner.
Here is the recipe:
1/2 Cup Fabuloso
2 Tbs Liquid Laundry Detergent
1/2 Tbs Fabric Softener
1 Scoop OxyClean

1 scoop oxiclean
When you're done adding the ingredients fill it up the rest of the way with water shake it to mix

Remember, this is concentrate. Add 2.5 oz of this to a gallon of hot water in your cleaning machine's reservoir.
Please, whatever you do, do NOT do this. Im a carpet cleaner and have been in the industry for years. This will only make your carpets dirtier and could even potentially damage them. Only making it harder to clean in the future. All those highly concentrated detergents in your mixture will leave nothing but sticky soapy residue in the fibers. Attracting more dirt and dust. Aside from that they often have optic brighteners and lots of other types chemicals that will wear out the fibers, and could potentially cause bleaching or discoloration. Please only use certified pre-spray, rinsing, and encapsulating chemicals MADE for carpets. Or better yet, just call a professional. You will save your carpets and your wallet in the long run.

@@citycarpartscitycarparts940 Definitely not the same chemicals, and its not really going to cost less when you have to call a patcher to replace your bleached, worn out carpets. Not trying to argue or be rude, but its just simple facts. Save yourself and the cleaners money and time and do it properly. Meaning using proper carpet intended chemicals.

Does this whole gallon of mixed solution go into the top tank of your bissel? Or do you pour this into the solution line? It doesn’t seem super concentrated so I assume the whole mixture goes in. Thanks for your videos! Very informative!
Costly mistake. My dad tried this concoction a month ago. It ruined both the carpet and carpet cleaner. Left a sticky residue that never dried nor could ever get out. The carpet cleaner clogged to where it no longer sucked the water back out of the carpet. Forced to buy new carpet, the installer advised never to use anything but name brand carpet shampoo.
May I suggest that you add the powdered Oxy to the jug of water first? It will not stick to a wet funnel. It will dissolve much better. It will not foam when you fill the jug, because the jug is already full of water.

How well does it work? I just answered my own question. This is the best cleaner I've used. The collection tank looks like it's full of muddy water.

After you've used this mixture do I need to go back over the carpet with plain water to rinse it out? Another question I've always had is does the water extracted ever come out clear? I've cleaned the carpet before and the extracted water is always filthy.
What I usually do after using the detergent is go over it with plain warm water. The water extracted should be murky after using the detergent…
How much do you think you would use if you have two separate reservoirs
You would be able to clean a lot more at once. That would be great!

What is a good substitute for the fabuloso? I'm in Canada i I cant find it.
LA Awesome is a good alternative… if you have any of that there.

Try powder tide instead of the liquid powder tide clean better than the liquid
How much would you add to the solution if you were using powdered detergent?
