Wow.. In just 11 days, August 19, 2024, this video will be 4 years old. The last video that LeAnna Rose did on TH-cam was on April 24, 2021, over 3 years ago. On the blog she advertises on here, this duvet info is also her activity shown. LeAnna: I hope you're doing well and can check back in again soon!! 😢 I googled "putting a duvet cover on a down comforter" and this video was under Google's top suggestions. It was such an easy process, that I hit the TH-cam button on the Google clip to see if others were helped by her tips too. Seems it was VERY helpful! I hope she's able to check in again soon and see all of the awesome comments sent to her over the past 4 years... 💕

I’m about to buy my son new bedding . I know around here you just buy a comforter and wash it . However he is a teen and I think it would be really nice to get him a down comforter with a duvet . Probably would make it a lot easier to keep his bedding clean !! However I am intimidated by the putting it on ! After seeing this video though I am going for it !

Great video, very informative and easy to understand, she did an excellent job explaining it and showing it 👍👏Shame on bissell for the lack information and NO manual! Who does that 🤷‍♀…..besides bissell. Just a little side note here for anyone who has a garbage disposal. Not a 100% sure but it appeared she was cleaning the cleaner in the side of the sink that was the garbage disposal. You should NEVER clean anything that is gritty that may have sand, small stones, or anything sand like, such as rinsing off clams, kids dirty muddy sneakers, flip flops etc. sand will eventually get into the seals and bearings of the garbage disposal and shorten the life of the motor, just some food for thought, thats all. Again great job on the video 👍

This method is great, especially for king size duvet that's so heavy to do by yourself. What I love about this video, as opposed to other burrito method videos, is that you put the opening of the duvet cover facing the head of the bed rather than foot. This way you can start rolling the duvet from the foot of the bed, rather than have to sit on your bed at the head and squeeze yourself in there. This way is much easier for people with mobility issues. Thank you!

Didn’t work!

Costly mistake. My dad tried this concoction a month ago. It ruined both the carpet and carpet cleaner. Left a sticky residue that never dried nor could ever get out. The carpet cleaner clogged to where it no longer sucked the water back out of the carpet. Forced to buy new carpet, the installer advised never to use anything but name brand carpet shampoo.

wish I'd seen this 20 years ago! I've been putting mine on using two people, one with the cover inside out over their arms and the other putting the corners of the comforter into the cover, then shimmying it off the arms, etc. This took me a little time due to moving back and forth around the bed several times but still faster than my old method AND by myself.
