Grain alternatives to wheat and it’s relatives also contain their own types of glutens. Corn contains zein, oats contains avenin, rice contains orzenin, and so it goes. I have SLE, Celiac and a slew of other autoimmune conditions. The improvement in pain levels and neuropathy has been profound since I removed all grains and pseudograins from my diet. Joint pain and neuropathy have all but disappeared without these foods. And no bloating. What a relief! My own rheumatologist is pretty impressed. He says he wouldn’t have thought of these other grains being culprits too.

Thank you so much for your channel. I have RA and fibromyalgia and a couple of other autoimmune diseases. I found that number 1 for me is good gut health! No sugar! No artificial sweeteners. Honey was ok with me. Everyone’s body is different however the gut is SOOOO IMPORTANT

Thank you for this informative video. I am in the process of being worked up for SLE. I removed sugar, starch, and ultra-processed foods from my diet 1 year ago because of joint pain I attributed to a medication I was taking.
It did reduce pain to a manageable level. I don’t drink alcohol and only thing I consume from your list on a regular basis is salt, because it doesn’t occur naturally in whole food. 😊

Sugary drinks don't contain sugar any longer, instead they contain high-fructose corn syrup which is very refined that causes inflammation throughout your body.
I believe this is the cause of fibromyalgia.

I may sound stupid , but my pains r so so worst , i knw, side effects of every single drug, and dangers of this disease on each n every organ. But life style modification in my case is not possible, untill i m post graduate... as duties r so worst, n not even a single doctor understand my problem, when i limp , i drag my body, many times effusions in joints, on usg... i have seen many best doctors in india, but not even a single doctor i found is good.
