Today, I want to share the best food for inflammation.
This food is powerful for any type of inflammatory condition, autoimmune disease, or any condition that ends in “itis.”
There is an interesting connection between inflammation in your joints and inflammation in your gut. To get rid of inflammation, we can’t forget about supporting a healthy gut.
Top foods that cause inflammation:
• Grains
• Alcohol
• Sugar
• Junk foods/ultra-processed foods
• Corn
• Soy
• Seed oils
• A1 milk proteins
• Fiber and functional fiber products
• Plant-protein products
Even beans, legumes, and vegetables can contribute to the problem if you have an inflammatory condition. You may need to try the carnivore diet for a little while.
The root cause of inflammation starts in the gut, and it’s called intestinal permeability or leaky gut. Glutamine, an important amino acid for your colon cells, is essential for this situation.
The best food to fight inflammation is beef, which is very high in glutamine. Glutamine greatly supports the gut and is beneficial for inflammatory conditions.
One of the best anti-inflammatory foods for vegans and vegetarians is cabbage. Cabbage, especially red cabbage, is a great source of glutamine.
Other foods rich in glutamine include:
• Sheep or goat cheese
• Kefir
• Eggs
• Fish
• Bone broth

I hate fish since little but I do buy from time to time omega 3 sardine oil capsules. Its said that 1.2gr of these equals to eating 1 fish every day for a week. Just be carefull of which produt you buy as many of these contain heavy metals as the fish it self was not caught in cold clean waters. The solutions of clean or at least 98-99% clean DHA omega 3 oils on the market are really few .

For some changing diets is easier or harder depending on how they have programmed to think.
Definitely easier than spending hours at the gym but both are important 😊
Changing your diet is not easier by any means. Taking a pill is far easier. The diet change is better for you though.

I suffered for many years of trying different food for my guts. I suffer with acid reflux, food intolerance, and hiatus hernia, and since I have been living in the UK for more than 17 years, some food doesn't agree with me. Autoimmune diseases can be caused by eating a lot of mammal foods (such as beef) because mammals are so similar to humans.

None of them have agreed or even listened. Thank you for this.

I’ve been battling crohns and colitis for over half my life, and at age 29 I decided to completely change the way I eat. Low sugar, low carb, high animal fat and protein, good amount of veggies, and of course daily exercise has helped me turn it around. Hey Doc! I agree with you and I think that what you have to offer is really important. When it comes to beef though, we have to be sure that we understand what needs to change. It’s not that we need to get rid of the beef industry. Is that it needs a complete overhaul. Most of the beef industry is harming these animals and treating them horribly. Have you ever seen one of these places where all these cows are trapped in a tight space and they’re basically just eating their own feces? It’s pretty disgusting. So we need to be clear when we’re talking about these kinds of things and say it needs to be really clean beef from a great source. And in the process we need to change the industry! We can’t just go around telling people to eat beef when you know they’re just gonna go out and buy that crap at the grocery store. It’s full of toxins and poisons. And most people can’t afford to buy the quality beef these days because it’s got to be local grass fed and treated well. Otherwise, our bodies won’t actually get the benefit you’re talking about. So there’s this. Please talk about this fact more, thank you.

Thank you for speaking about cabbage. It gives me the inspiration to include it in my diet, especially the fermented forms.
I’m grateful for your channel, this is really knowledge unknown to masses, I don’t have major heath problems but I’m always looking for truth
You are changing so many people's lives. I was an alcoholic and sugar has been hands down SO much harder to quit than alcohol. Today I am 8 days free of soda though woohoo!!! Hahaha sounds silly but I thank you for all you are doing! I am making some cabbage juice this weekend and even my 8-year-old daughter is excited to try it!
I believe it!
doesn't sound silly. sounds awesome
Zevia makes sugar free sodas sweetened with stevia thus their brand name, so if you crave soda you might want to try that. Dr Zevia is my favorite, root beer, ginger ale, and their caffeine free cola as well. It's not a perfect copy of the sugar free brands but they're pretty close. Their Mt Dew copy was awful although I found their pink grapefruit tasted similar to Mt Dew or maybe like 7 Up, it's kind of trial and error.
I'm glad you've come so far and you're getting your daughter involved in healthy eating, good for you!
If you quit sugar entirely so no sweet drinks or deserts, in about 6 months, you will find that sweet things are not tasty at all.
@user-vv9vh2rv2w Zevia tend to make me hungry along with flavored water. I think its the natural flavors in it.

Don't eat cabbage because it will cause a lot of gas & bloating

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Im also taking a B1 vitamin.
I was diagnosed with MS about a year and a half ago. I'm doing much better today thanks to diet I believe
@@beastywild I believe so too, that it's because of diet and fasting.
Congratulations on your new found success!
@nickbonvino2292 thank you :)
Probably you need add PANCREATIN (protease amylase lipase papain) this enzymes are good for reducing inflammation.
Cabbage, califlower, okra and broccoli killed my gastritis!!! I love this man!!!❤
Really!
Amazing. The 2 foods I very rarely consume. Tku so much.
THANK YOU DR. BERG!!! You are incredible!❤
I appreciate your support! Glad to help!
I have been watching your videos for a long time now and have learned so much! One question I do have is, are freshly ground whole grains still as inflammatory? I try to mill as much of my own grain at home for sourdough bread and I’m curious. Thanks!
I’m not a vegan but consume much of vegetables thinking i was being healthy. I got bloating problem for such a long time and no doctor ever told me about this being a possible reason. I’m gonna change my diet according to your instructions and see what happens. Thank you so much❤
vegetables dont cause bloating .Only certain vegetables cause bloating . Legumes also cause bloating .Indians have primarily vegetarian diet and they know food better than rest with the help of ayurveda . there are ways to counter bloat following Indian cooking method
This is me as well. I used to think it was the beef that would cost the information but it was the bread and the beans and especially corn, popcorn. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much Dr. What great information!
I know four people in my family that suffer with so much inflammation in her body. My daughter was just diagnosed with hypo thyroidism and my other daughter has suffered with gut problems for years. My two sisters also deal with a lot of inflammation. I’m passing this video onto them. Hopefully they will realize they need to throw out pretty much everything in their cabinet and go for the fresh meat and vegetables. Extremely informative thank you
You've just proved that this doctor works for the COW industry! 😂 Beef is #1 anti-inflammatory food? LMAO 😂
@@COMPUTER.SCIENCE. I haven’t proved anything I’m just making a statement
@@COMPUTER.SCIENCE. Not talking abt chared or fried.
Glutathione is produced by our body by eating foods containing cysteine, glutamine and glycine. And legumes contain all of these.
@@COMPUTER.SCIENCE.Actually, no. Read Sean Baker and Makayla Jordan. Miraculous.
Thank you! This is REALLY REALLY HELPFUL!
Thank you; have been doing this, and it's helpful.
Thank you so much doctor.
After watching your videos I found answer to all of my health issues . By changing diet we change lives all thanks to you.
I had stomach ulcers and bloating, was adviced to take L- glutamine powder on an empty stomach with glass of water, and my ulcers for over a year was gone in two weeks.
I learn a lot from you guys (Eric Berg, Sten Ekberg, John Campbell, ...). I love your channels and I confirm that it helps without taking pills. I feel much better now since I am doing intermittent fasting (16-8) and since I am more aware of healthy food (less sugar/carbs/processed foods); No more itchy arms, less weight, more energy, ... better sleep without big effort in fact. Me happy :-). From Belgium, with love.
My 3 favs too!❤
Fantastic information. I see you're on Rumble. I hadn't heard you mention that in what I've watched. Mentioning that more frequently may be helpful?
My daughter has been diagnosed with JIA and you have given me so much inspiration and hope!
You are what you eat, literally.
I'm glad I could help during this challenging time. Wishing your daughter all the best on her journey to health.
Whenever Dr Berg starts with a list, you know it's time to pull out your pen and pad. Thanks Doc!❤
Most welcome! Glad you found the information useful!
Limiting gluten and cutting out refined sugars and cooking oils has definitely helped me, but beef (and any red meat for that matter) was such a trigger for my eczema I couldn’t go back to that. It didn’t matter how lean the meat was or if it was organic or grass fed, etc. Cabbage I’ll definitely do tho!
Yeah, me too. I just don’t digest meat well, bloated. It’s not a one approach that works for everyone for sure. Fermented foods are great. Think everything comes down to gut health. I felt the best years ago eating right for my blood type. Got to be some truth in it for me. Cellular inflammation is culprit!
Take probiotics Bec it may be rich iron.
Thank you so much for this information. Deeply appreciate everything you share.
That is great! thanks so much for your message!
Dr berg is national treasure
It was much needed. I consume a lot of sugar and biscuits and often suffer acidity, bloating and belching issues. Now I have starting developing pimples on my chin area especially and it worries me a lot as I never had this issue throughout my life. But I can connect all the dots now after watching this video. Thank u doctor.
Dr. Berg! You’ve helped me so much! I appreciate this video and as you know… the only tricky thing is glutamine and cancer. I hope you continue to work with Professor Seyfried and others looking for ways to block glutamine in the “press/pulse” strategy. 🙏🏽
Seyfried said you can take some medications to block this, that may be necessary if aggressive cancer yes.
@@AthenaLundCOcan you simplify for us who’ve not heard of this before please? Is glutamine said to cause cancer?
@@choccysoybeanit's the link between Red meats especially non organic beef with Colon Cancer.
Thank you, Dr. Berg!!!
Interestingly, I recently obtained red cabbage - which I had never eaten before (and I DO eat a fair amount of veggies, and berries) - of all places - at the local food bank.(And I looked up ways as to how to cook it). It waa delicious, but, i discovered just how hard it seems to come by.
So, i bought seeds and will try to plant them in a very small plot near my apartment. (This is March, so, it's almost time to try to plant them. )
Thank you, again for so much helpful information!❤
New sub learning so much from your channel - Definitely going to introduce more beef and cabbage to my diet. I cannot eat sauerkraut (used to and loved it) due to migraine restrictive diet - fermented foods and cheese is out for me...Thanks so much!
I had surgery for Nasal polyps this year and 2 doctors wanted to get me on bimonthly shots! Got on Carnivore after listening to Dr Berg and I can now breathe!!!! Thank you for all your help! Quick question are Oxalates in back pepper or other peppers an issue for inflammation?
Great food choices!! Thank you Dr. Berg!! 🩷
Thank you for Sharing ❤
Çok teşekkürler Size minnettarız syn Doc Berğ❤
