G'day Captin, you can certainly add the skunk2 manifold it will make the car slower low in the revs, but more powerful hi in the rpm, no you wont need to change the fuel rail or injectors, not unless you are turbo'ng the car
Not really to be honest, you can buy a nitrous kit for half the price of a skunk2 intake that will guarantee you more power , or a turbo kit for about double the skunk2 intake

@@TURBOTRISTO you nd to check out the little jeeps Geo tracker set up with Honda parts air manifold p28 ECM Honda distributor head port and polish and shave bigger cams bad ass set up made in Puerto Rico they recut the Geo tracker distributor and weld the Honda distributor for timing and the p28 ECM for tune bad ass some of them they built them for trails on 4x4 bad ass strong like hell they build a plate for the manifold to hook up to the Geo tracker head 72 tb big difference in the Geo tracker a lot of torque and speed strong gd on gas too easy money gd in highways streets and mountains mud beautiful thing out here
I’m planning on rebuilding a Y8 and I was thinking of getting a skunk 2 intake manifold but would it be worth it if it’s not boosted? Also would I need to get a new fuel rail and bigger injectors?
G'day Captin, you can certainly add the skunk2 manifold it will make the car slower low in the revs, but more powerful hi in the rpm, no you wont need to change the fuel rail or injectors, not unless you are turbo'ng the car
Y8 manfoild is better in my opinion
Y4 & y8 are same same
@@TURBOTRISTO never head of a y4 before is it a European motor
@@TURBOTRISTO I had a skun2 manfoild on my b7 motor and compared to the y8 it runs better with the y8
@@OldFordShit yeah you will have much better low down torque with the stock manifold , they are designed for low end torque and drivability,
@@OldFordShit Australian its identical to a y8 but no vtec
Did you feel any difference in power with the new intake manifold? Do you think is worth it this modification?
Not really to be honest, you can buy a nitrous kit for half the price of a skunk2 intake that will guarantee you more power , or a turbo kit for about double the skunk2 intake
