Just found ur channel great videos on the civic. I just bought myself a ej9 as a project/first car too mines a rust bucket tho and wont pass the nct just yet hoping to work on it. I'm sure ur videos will help me anyway man keep up the good content

i have a d14z6 and i'm wondering if a bigger intake manifold would do a power increase, that might be a good upgrade, nice video btw
For me I found it opened up the top end a little. Dunno how much hp gains. Even if none I'm happy with how much nicer the bay looks with it. Thanks 🤙

Thanks! im not sure on the fuel as i didnt drive too much with the standard intake before i put this one on. for hp i feel like it gained some or at least it feels a lot less restrictive when in higher rpm

Hi. Im planning to swap my stock D15 nonvtec intake manifold to a P2K manifold. Aside from buying the int.manifold and air box what else would I need to do for it to work properly? Thanks
is the stock d15 throttle body facing upwards or is it a side intake like the d16y8 . if its not a side intake you will need a side intake throttle body as the throttle pulley is facing the opposite direction . and youll need new gasket usually old ones will get destroyed when taking it off

What about the sensor which was in the Airfilter?
The side intake usually has a spot for it. U just take the old rubber grommet and put it on the new induction pipe

how did you get your fuel rail to fit? My D14 doesn't fit because of the bolts that hold the fuel rail in place
Hey my d14 fuel rail had the same bolt pattern as the y8 mani. i believe they should be both the same. if not you could use the y8 fuel rail and just put the d14 injectors in cause they might be different
@@mullac720 I can’t use the D16 fuel rail since the UFO that sits on top of the rail doesn’t line up properly so it just shoots fuel everywhere lol. I’m waiting on the part off the seller and he also didn’t send me the throttle cable bracket but thanks for the reply.

@@mullac720 No mate! Under the actual throttle body there was ports on your video. 2 were pointing down and on the old one they had pipes connected I was just wondering where you put them that’s all or did you cap them off??
