  • Western Mo Pai Students (abbreviated WMPS and pronounced "Wimps") are just like any other religious fundamentalist cult, tricking seekers with lies about Mo Pai.
This video explains the trick which John Chang used to light the paper on fire: • Chi energy revealed!
If you are interested in reading a detailed description of real nei kung, the
Taoist spiritual path of the warrior wizard, check out my book "A Lineage of Dragons", about the mystrious qigong master who was Bruce Lee's uncle and main teacher: www.amazon.com...

The most important question is what do want to achieve and why. Whatever advice you get is worthless if they don’t ask you what you want to get out of the work. It’s like saying you want to travel, “where should I go?”.... see you need to know why. Do you want comfort? Adventure? Warm or Cold? Lots of people and big cities or Natural Beauty. Why? The question is exactly why do you want to practice what are you trying to become and what’s more motivation? If you don’t know figure that out first then you’ll know who to pick. You probably don’t need to travel to get what you’re looking for but if you’re going to travel my goodness have a good reason. A lot of the places in the world where this stuff is taught are really harsh unsanitary polluted and being a westerner you will get shaken down and fleeced in a lot of places. When I go to India it’s to Bihar, Bihar is one of two or three places in the world where polio still exists. There’s no trash cans or public restrooms, I get food poisoning and other illnesses every-time. I have my reasons for going namely the Bodhi tree is walking distance.
Yeah so have your reasons to follow whatever system, these things can generate life changing experiences that can “marry you” to a particular style so know what you want and pick a style and teacher that matches you.
For instance the guy suggested to you is modern shaolin which is a striped bare Buddhist system which is purely martial. The guy on this video seems much more aligned with Taoism and spiritual and psychic cultivation. These are almost polar opposites.
Lama Rigdze is the most accessible teacher of Buddhist Methods I know and he will be straight with you about what you should do that fits your conditions and aspirations provide your looking for freedom and knowledge on how your energetic mechanics function but he doesn’t do a lot of chi cultivation before his system doesn’t required it. He’s more interested in teaching emotional strength. Because it’s no good to be energeticly powerful if you’re worried what other people think or you don’t know how to feel good about yourself. So he teaches how to articulate the emotional body like it was another limb, you should be able to pick your emotions like you pick your clothes.

I was at the beginning of the discovery of the "spiritual life", and as I was learning about several things, I became more enchanted with everything (and things became more and more clear... until I became "blind" and didn't see the various traps on the way , because in my naivety anyone who "works with spirituality at any level had to have some kind of commitment to the sincerity and seriousness of what was claimed). And in this beginning of the journey in the discovery of spirits, energies and astral projections, I came across the video of Dynamo Jack. Obviously already "blind by clarity", I fell for this scam and searched madly until I found the two books by the student Kosta Danaos, I unpacked the two books and soon started the practices I practiced the techniques up to level two, through meditation and I even invented extra trying to be smart using the techniques in astral projection (since when you are sleeping, technically you are in an altered state of consciousness, making it even easier to manipulate energies, etc.). After a year and not feeling any visible positive results I stopped. But what I didn't know was that I had planted a time bomb. Years later, to my surprise, since I had forgotten that I had practiced one day, I was warned in astral projection by spiritual mentor - spirits - that I would have serious problems with my lung and heart (cancer) because the energies accumulated in my dantien would rise to my heart chakra. Nowadays I am in poor health (and I can't even stand up without the help of canadian-crutches), and I'm very sad to have fallen for this scam and not be able to tell anyone about it (even those of spirituality in general wouldn't take this kind of chi cultivation thing seriously), and here in this video I found other victims. And I'm sad to say this but... I don't have the cure to solve this chi problem, let alone techniques that can be done for someone who can just sit or lie down (like me), but you victims who read this relate in the future, know that at least you don't are alone in this (there are many others out there who must have fallen too, and are probably suffering the silent consequences). I very much doubt that someone who had this false (and extremely dangerous) technique of neikung as their first contact with chi, will have the courage to take a chance on several others (being a layman, and afraid of stepping into more traps). Good Luck, you are not alone.

The thing is that there are many things about the practices that cant be shared in a book or via written word.
Its not about energy accumulated in your dan tien, since the dan tien transmits energy through the whole body, its about false practice with too much intention. By using intention the energy becomes "stuck" in the chest since its clenches up, any real practice relies on non intentional breathing work. Anchor the breath and let your mind sink into your body and later into your dan tien. Only having awarness on the dan tien, letting your body breath on its own will suck qi into the dan tien which will by default fill up and spread the energy through your system, cleansing it and unblocking meredians.
The problem is that nearly all people think that they can just start the real practice without preparing their body and mind for it.
Releasing mental, physical and energetic blockages.
What do you think happens if you have a phone with bad wiring, broken cables and put it on power? Overheating and a short circuit^^
Also your story sounds like you havent been grounded^^ it is never good to have your mind in the skies
      good luck on your journey

Totally agree and thank you Sir for your vid, its truly rare to find a master who is genuine and truthful.
I started mediation (Zen) because I liked the calmness it brings me, I do also have knowledge of Taoist meditation but always preferred the softer natural way of breathing... Fast forward 10 years, I was able to still do everything that a hard, hard/soft Chi-Gong style practitioner can do but they didn't even seem to be as half as sensitive to energy or the energy of the environment as me (including weather, people and animals), but to be fair I think I was bless by my mothers genes as she is a sensitive person.
I also noticed mental and emotional changes to myself (more patient, compassion and understanding of others and myself). This did seem to correlate to my internal/condensed chi and my channels fully cleared/unblocked.

    • @Llucius1
      @Llucius1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Not true , this is not the way to understand your body. If you restrain your body , the tension and desire will always be there , it's just a matter of time where you could not resist. The true way to understand the body is to first accept who you are as a human being , understand how the body function , and not just from social view. Start by understand , and observe how your body function , how your mind works. The true practice , begin from taking good care of your lifestyle , without a good lifestyle , all practice are pointless and eventually become a waste of time. When you start in this view , your desires for body function will reduces to a basic degree , this is why people who start self exploration will have less desire for sex , because sex is just for reproductive purpose , and some degree of pleasure. Even the body restrain from sex , the desire and thought will be in the mind , and worse is that the thought will even be exaggerated because you are more focus on sex by restraining your body from it. That's not the way to go.

    • @TienShanTaoistInternalArts

The reason for abstaining from sex for three days after practicing is because the cultivator will end up giving away his extra chi to his partner, which reduces the overall effectiveness of cultivating chi.

I read Jim's book and he went on and on about John was wrong about this that and the next thing because it didn't coincide perfectly with his own religious world views. Yet John was the one (allegedly) flying around and throwing lightening, not him. Kosta also had to compare so much, sooo much of what John said to what the ancient Greeks did it was kind of ridiculous. But practicing the golden flower as described by Lu Dongbin and years of chi kung moving the energy through its natural pathways such as the microcosmic orbit did eventually fix me up. Honestly I mean what did I expect would happen? You dam up the energy flow and force it into one spot and then blow it up like a balloon and condense it like gas in a propane tank. All that energy can't go where its supposed to be in your body! The dantian is like a set of bike pedals that spins and with it the gears that make the bike move. But when you pack like that it shrinks and the energy can't reach the chain so the chi won't flow through the body. I mean its okay to put more energy into the pedals to make them stronger but the condensing shrinks it and really really makes a big mess of the whole system. I'm super lucky I had the sense to stop when I did.

MO PAI is a groundbreaking system; the issue, as has been emphasized numerous times in both Kung Fu movies and Star Wars, is that one must have a pure heart. That's where the secret lies. The second matter is - who is the teacher? This can be learned from the 2010 film "Chico Xavier". The training must be undergone alone in the forest, just like others including Masutatsu Oyama did. Good luck.

And there was nothing like that. Poeple saw everything he monks did or said as somethong supernatural. I know this because my teacher was a very powerful and advanced master, and because some of my video students have gone far, and quickly. If you are already willing to try out Tien Shan, then by all means, go ahead and give it a try. This website is about the book which explains how the system works and my experiences along the Way, which you will like. It also has links to the school and to videos. If you go to the video page you can download the level one video and try it out.
