As an Indonesian Muslim American living in Chinatown Manhattan, since I turned 20 I have participated in a weekly tai-chi voluntary exercise with my other peers who are in their seventies and eighties of East Asian descent. Tai chi is not just a exercise but it spiritually awakens you and pours in the qi energy into your body. Yeah me too, it was nice to see how God turns sin into good, through the lost souls of the people who made these practices, we now have great routines for our body and health!
I’m just here trying to put together some resources to discuss with my pastor Because they’re wanting to do tai chi for the elderly, I approached him and told him we should stead clear of it, he asked me to put a case together and here I am. I’ve just happened across this comment. It’s my genuine belief that God does not approve of Tai Chi. Tai Chi is based on the Taoist belief of a universal energy, specifically there is no “one God”. I see so many Christians who say “but I don’t do the spiritual stuff”, not realizing that you cannot separate the spiritual from the physical. Please research the spiritual incompatibility of tai chi and Christianity. Lev 18:3-4 he tells us not to do these things.
Thank you so for this downright alluring explanation/illustration of Tai chi, etc. I could feel Kundalini tingles which may be 'Chi'', but I'll just say it felt great. Btw I'm a bit flummoxed by the intensity of several commentators: Two steps before giggling, actually. Perhaps I'm too simple to live, but I found my breath following your words sans objections or footnotes. That's what I love about Tai chi practice. Pax et lux.🌌🗝️💙
It’s good for circulation. They have moves for different organs and it’s also good for slowing down the mind. Some people exvercise fast to increase metabolism burn fat etc. but I think sometimes a good excercise is slowing down which is hard to do for someone with anxiety or ptsd and I like this very much.
Biocentrism would say so! We are all connected energetically through the quantum field. Even thoughts impact one another over the field. Great video. Thanks for articulating something seemingly complex so simply and eloquently.
I appreciate the very thorough explanation of what Tai Chi and Qi Gong philosophy does and how it serves to help,us align our spiritual health with our physical health. Amazing video, using graphic art coupled with actual tai chi and qi gong movements. Thank you very much. It has stimulated me to try harder to make these a daily exercise routine, little by little, at first. Bless you! 🙏🤗
It was in 1976 I was 21years old when Grandmaster Chu ask me what am I going to do when I get old..I came to my first class the very next day and now I am 65 years YOUNG!!! Taichichuan= GrandUltimateFist. Nothing like it!!!
I was admittedly Leary of watching this video, because all too often, “westerners” appropriate Black, and Brown people’s contributions. Your opening statements, let me know that you would respect the culture of origin. That you continued to refer to Chinese culture, while putting things into terms that “westerners” have been taught to think in, is remarkable! I’m on my own journey with Qi Gong, after suffering a TBI. My symptoms are so severe, that I’m completely disabled, for nearly four years. I’ve been able this be consistent with a 20 minute routine, for a little over a month, and am trying to deepen my understanding. This video, will become part of my collection. To answer your question, we are all ver definitely connected to each other, and to everything in the universe! The more we all begin to understand, and embrace this, the better off we’ll all be, as will the universe. Harm to another, is harm to myself, and all energy in the universe. Peace in myself, is peace to all others, and the universe.
Brilliant video - excellent visualisation - bringing science and chi together - great thank you for doing this - is on Harvard level - hopefully enriching the life of many many people

Hello, I am a fellow practitioner/ instructor/ . Is it okay to place this video on my website as a source for education as I am a healthcare practitioner, and your explanation helps to convey a great deal of information in a short amount of time.
Wonderful video explaining this in easy-to-understand terms. I used to train in Aikido, and now that I have acquired a traumatic brain injury (rear temporal and occipital lobes and cerebellum), I can no longer stand without assistance. I still want to strengthen and develop my Chi/Ki - hoping it will be healing to my brain. Would Tai Chi or Qigong be helpful for that? What would you recommend? With respect and a grateful heart, Greenleaf.
Hi Miss Greenleaf, so sorry to read about your TBI. Kudos to you for wanting to move beyond where you are, mentally and physically! I also live with the condition after one almighty sideswipe from a little old lady driving a very big car some years ago...thank You G-d I'm out of the wheelchair and for the last two years off the cane, too (yay, chiro!). Now I'm ready to restart my journey in Qigong and Tai Chi... Either would, I believe, be an excellent path for you as well with one modification: I recommend you research DVDs or YT vids on either of the two with an emphasis on Medical or For Healing. There are more available than you might think. Master Helen Liam (cancer survivor to boot) or Dr Jwing-Ming Yang are two excellent resources. I wouldn't necessarily avoid anything labelled For Cancer," because the underlying focus is still the engagement of the mind/body's innate capacity for healing. Oh, yes, we are wonderfully and fearfully made! ;-) Hope this is of help, I realise you posted a year ago. Kind regards.
That video is ALL so PERFECT! WOW! very interesting and well made. Love the voice, the slow explanation. Beautiful. I will get back to doing my tai chi. Which I don't practice enough. THANK YOU!
feeling of qi ... i explain by saying the internal cellular respiration can be sensed when the body and mind are quiet and movement is slow or still ..
It is great to learn Aikido, then learn tai chi. The Aikido becomes smoother and more internal. Injury prevents me from the hard falls of aikido but solo tai chi work is great and I can even heal my pet dog , who is approaching 17 years old ( shitzu) :) Playing a musical instrument can be very enlightening also.

Finally someone shows how our body works and I appreciate that you shared this with us
Thank you for such good work on showing and explaining the Crown of Creation. Inspiring, humbling.
I've been doing this for a few months. Got very bad vertigo, tinnitus and anxiety. Seems to be working. Not going to happen overnight.
If none of this were true, then why else is this world trying so hard to make sure we stay as unbalanced, unhealthy, & unaware as possible 🤔

When something is hidden or attacked that is a good sign its true and powerful. Just think, accupuncture was once illegal.
Great comment.

Great description of the complex body. Says so much in a short time.
A calm and clear explanation of Chi and Qigong for this reason I've subscribed.
Amazing a beautiful coverage.
How did they ascertain and discern all this so long ago. Epiphany.

Wow beautiful! Have a great rest of your life Mr Mark
Thank you 🙏🏻 your description is eloquently phrased and your video is levels above others I’ve viewed on the same subject . Stay happy and healthy
Superb illustration which helps me to get a much better grasp bet. QiGong & Tai Chi ..Thank you.
Beautifully visualized information. Thank you 🙏🏻
I was admittedly Leary of watching this video, because all too often, “westerners” appropriate Black, and Brown people’s contributions.
Thank you for such a thorough and simple explanation.
I have never seen so well graphical explanation of Chi, thanks. Like the video.

Thanks for this video. Because of your video, I,m going to do Qi gong more often. It feels more powerful practicing Qi gong now that I have a general idea idea on how it works. Can you recommend a good hour, or more, long video that I can practice with on a beginners level? I sure would appreciate your recommendation. Sending you love, and Inner peace my friend.

Hello, I am a fellow practitioner/ instructor/ . Is it okay to place this video on my website as a source for education as I am a healthcare practitioner, and your explanation helps to convey a great deal of information in a short amount of time.
This video was awesome! Inspiring, thank you 🙏🏻
Wonderful video explaining this in easy-to-understand terms.
Oh, yes, we are wonderfully and fearfully made! ;-)
Hope this is of help, I realise you posted a year ago.

@@adamrichardson1705 ok Adam, we get your point.😂
It is great to learn Aikido, then learn tai chi. The Aikido becomes smoother and more internal. Injury prevents me from the hard falls of aikido but solo tai chi work is great and I can even heal my pet dog , who is approaching 17 years old ( shitzu) :) Playing a musical instrument can be very enlightening also.
