Ninja V has temp, gamma and saturation issues for me and atomos making it impossible to get fixed.
Hard to monitor log footage sadly - rest of the unit is awesome. Love the false colour

I bought a shogun. Setting it up now. I have fx6. It says to put trigger on sony. Im only getting two options and they are timecode and hdmi. Any recommendations bro
Bro I watched this video bought ninja v never registered. Everything was working until I updated os and all the features are gone. I emailed atomos no progres raw smh. I heard atomos has to rename old ninja v accounts to “ ninja v” because old account device names are “ ninja”Love ya page though.
Da Vinci supports prores raw if you edit on a Mac!

I ordered the FX6 8 months ago. No shit. My camera store has no clue, Sony rep won’t tell us shit. They only recently told us mid December. I’ve been shooting with A7IV and it’s a great hybrid but I want internal ND, time code, hell a proper video camera. I’m getting enough work that I’m tire of rigging out a mirrorless. 🤓

iPhone 13 Max Pro Baby!!!! Monitor + Hands down the best experience I've had. One less thing I have to carry around, great battery life, amazing screen, just as many features if not more, and I don't do external recording so not a big deal here.

My Atomos Ninja V won’t get 4K 60 from my fx6 via hdmi. Also there’s no signal everytime I set my camera to RAW (HDMI). But all features works perfectly on my a7s3. I hope you could help me.
I think RAW isso only avaliable throw sdi module or connect at original Ninja V. Ok?

Does camera control run through to the Ninja V? Specifically the touch screen autofocus. I shoot alot of run & gun style documentary work and I've really fallen in love with that tap to focus feature, but that little damn monitor that the fx6 comes with is just too small.

Today I was testing out the FX6 with my Ninja V+ aattached via HDMI. I am a noob and I just couldn´t get the Ninja V+ to record. I was so frustrating. Is it possible to record 4K 120p via HDMI 2.1, or do I need SDI?
I only have the ninja V but try the pro res raw hq I think it’s called when in 120?

Yup ! It’s in the first page menu settings and you can trigger record from the hdmi 👍🏾

Am i losing dynamic range by recording with the ninja5 in h265 instead of internally? they advertise "10+ stops" in the ninja but the fx6 shoots around 14
Not sure to be 100 with you , If Im externally recordning, its in RAW , I can try it out!
So when recording prores raw 60 fps on the ninja v, are you still able to shoot xavcs I slog 60 fps internally in the fx6? Because you aren’t able to shoot slog on the a7siii while shooting raw on the ninja v

I just bought my second Ninja V.
I bought a used one two years ago but, having done a couple of multi cam shoots recently, I wished I had another Ninja V so I didn’t have to worry about having enough memory (for 10bit All i 400) on my Bcam (plus FCP loves ProRes). . . Then I noticed that camera stores we’re selling them new for £400 . . . . Hmmmm, if I see one for £350 then I’m definitely gonna get me one . . . . .
One week later I saw a reputable camera store selling a new Ninja V for £350 (mine, mine, mine) which is like the price of One 256Mb V90 card 🤷
That’s why I got mine ! The price went down by so much !
