Chad, what's saponin? Also, the Thermoforge plugs any port on the Controller 69 instead of its sensor. I'm using the Control Plug to operate a simple space heater by the Controller 69. But maybe later.
My upstairs bedroom stays pretty warm all winter. Too hot in fact. Lately my window has been open to cool it off and to let the air exchange because I'm not here all day to provide CO2. I'm worried my tent is too hot and the terps will burn off. Maybe more air entering the tent would help but in flower I can't leave the door open all the time. Anyway heat is my problem.
My room temps can get into the low 60's. The swing between lights on and off is over 10 degrees, which is really the max I feel comfortable with. Using this device, I can keep the temps equal from night and day. Root uptake can slow in the 60's, cells burst around 40, but it never gets that cold in here.
Does the outer case get hot at all? Just dealing with limited space and the manual for the Thermoforge states to give 3' of free space around the heater.
So far it has not. I've run it consecutively for four days, but I am only on heat level 2. If you only have 3" of space, that may create an air intake issue. The intake is on the back of the unit and if it was stuffed against a wall or something, it might not work as well..? I hope that helps. Cheers :)
Thank you for watching. My PotforPot plant turned out to be a male. It was loving the soil and growing well, but I had to cull it. This heater though, looks to be the best solution currently out there. Enjoy your time in the garden :)
