    This heater has your room feeling like an all inclusive resort to those plants! Anyone have any heater stories?!

      I just got mine a coupdays ago. I have an 8x8 in a room in the basement. It wasn't working good until I blocked off the hvac vents and I went from 69 degrees to over 80 degrees easily. That 1500 watt space heater was killing me.

      Nice, now they need an ac unit. Shut my indoor down and put my plants outside. But I’ll need that heater this winter. Thanks

      Nice! I think I can speculate that one is in the works, if you have a controller 69 it looks like there are different device types and one looks like it could be a dehumidifier along with an air condition unit as well

    • @HappyHydro

      You probably could, but heat does rise so not sure how much it will effect the air temp around your plants. Also most inline fans are near the top of the tent, so I wouldn't want you to be pumping the warm air right out.

      For me, my veg tent gets way too cold when I'm drying my harvest at 60⁰ and 60% humidity. Last time, they purpled right out and put my next flower run back a couple weeks well they recovered, but that's just me.

    • @SasquatchLovesMe
      @SasquatchLovesMe หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Well, for small tent growers who do not have a dedicated grow room, you cannot use the ambient air of the room you have your tent in b/c you'd have to keep the room at 80F and then drop down to the low 70s when lights are off. It's much easier, more accurate and cheaper to control just the temp in the tent.

    • @buckeyebunnyhunter
      @buckeyebunnyhunter หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I gets cold in the winter in Ohio and my old house is hard to heat,so keeping the tent warm especially when the lights out we’ll need it. But now I’m having trouble keeping it cool.

    • @eddiebrame5126
      @eddiebrame5126 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Growing for terps? I found I like my tent air temp 70-72f, root temp 74f to 76f, leaf surface temp 80ish. It can be difficult to achieve, but you do it by cycling cold air into the tent in order to keep air temp in check. You also need to cycle heat to warm the soil, which acts as an insulator from the cold air brought in very quickly to cool the tent. Direct the heat to blow on the pots. HPS lights will keep your leaf surface temp on the high side, which is perfect. I find that growing in cooler temps helps the terps escape less than higher temps. It's important to compensate for that by making roots and leaf temps in the ideal range. It's difficult to set up and dial in, but worth it.
