This is my favorite Lovebites song of all time. EPIC is correct, it just builds and builds and has such a beautiful middle. Midori's guitar solo is my favorite by her. Asami's vocals are amazingly strong at the end. Just a powerful song by the Metal Goddesses.
Never, ever try and put these women in any genre, here they take a "rock" number and do it the flawless epic way only LB does it!! Miyako shows off that classical piano training since age 3, Midori shows she is more than a shredding machine on the acoustic guitar making it weep, and Asami finally gets to show off all those ballerina moves she practiced for years and all in the same song (transitioning from Rock to ballad and off again). These women just glide between influences in the same song and make everything they do look effortless, I dare say they are boringly perfect as usual!!!! Of course being LB they have to smack your face at least once in a song which is what the ending was all about!! BTW great reaction and the Blu-ray of this concert is absolutely mind numbing, so get it and support these great musicians if you can!!!

Now you've experienced another side to these ladies. They can do it all. A Frozen Serenade is incredibly beautiful. Also check out Epilogue for a song in a similar vein.
I love how smoothly Midori and Miyako just switch between instruments. In a studio, this stuff is easy because you can just record the tracks separately, but to do it live and have it sound perfect? Miyako just sits down, plays piano, grabs her pick again, and right back into the guitar solos.

With you man. Frozen Serenade was one of their less high-profile songs, but this performance shows it to be a masterpiece. It belongs with Ravel's "Bolero", Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and NIghtwish's "Ghost Love Score". Like a huge wave building up until it sweeps you away.

Before this show came out and it was the end of last year, on Instagram, I follow all of the ladies but mostly chatted with Midori I kept begging her to talk to the others about making a MV or doing it live along with "This is the Day" and "Set the World on Fire" and guess what they delivered. YES!!! OMG YES!!!! Every freaking single time I hear her play this solo part (and it is probably close to 50 times now) it gives me goosebumps, every time, without fail. This is my favorite Midori solo and my favorite Lovebites song.
This is a song that I feel would suit a Bond movie intro purely based on how it sounds, I've not looked at the lyrics so I dunno about that aspect of it, (I struggle to understand the dialogue on this even though it's in English).
