- LOVEBITES impressed us on the first listen, so we had to do another from them, and "A Frozen Serenade" Live from Tokyo 2021 was a popular recommendation. This was an absolutely outstanding performance on many levels.

"I didn't know she could play the piano that well". If you want to see how well she REALLY can play it, check out this performance: Swan Song live with Chopin intro: th-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/w-d-xo.html. Then you can see what a talent she really is!
"Lost in the garden" *live* is not bad either. Míyako in the beginning, Asami in the midst.
I concur!
I concur 🤘
I agree!
Miyako is a Classically trained pianist, she started studying at the age of three, picked up a guitar at 18 and learned from instruction books, she has an EP of her interpretations of metal songs done in a Classical style
and guitar hero 😊
You have just witnessed an epic masterpiece from these amazing ladies. I challenge any other metal or rock band to be able to replicate that LIVE performance, and to that level of musicianship. For another Lovebites masterpiece, check out "Edge of the World" LIVE : th-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/w-d-xo.html
This is without a doubt one of their very best and most complex songs with gorgeous melodies and harmonies.
A Lovebites masterpiece! These ladies are so incredibly talented! My favorite heavy metal band! Thank you for your support!🤘🏼
We are absolutely enjoying their music.
This song is a legitimate masterpiece. It is one of the best hard rock/metal songs ever written in my opinion.
True.
I'm very proud of you Mrs. Coach. From some of your earlier reactions, I never ever thought you would have made it this far. Thank you so much for being so open-minded and accepting of different music. Thank you too, Coach!
Every time the piano and acoustic guitar starts I tear up. Every time. And I've heard this song a thousand times.
Thank you. We are enjoying the journey.
Same for me...
Miyako began piano lessons when she was 3 yo!!. She was on track to be a concert pianist, when she decided to go into Metal Music. Self taught on the guitar. I believe a major reason she went into metal was so she could compose music. The classical music world doesn't welcome women as composers.
A possible topper - "Swan Song" with the Chopin Etude.
Interesting. Lots of talent, for sure.
Lovebites, Pure Art, Masterpiece amazing Musicians.
Did you notice her baby bump on the pianist/guitarist when she was playing piano. She was four or five month pregnant then. A hell of tough woman. I'd suggest an epic and amazing piece for your next reaction to Lovebites, Swang Song with Revolutionary Etude th-cam.com/video/6wSjZnbYPdw/w-d-xo.html. Enjoy!!
Did not see that. That's fantastic!
Lovebites is the best. They are at the top.
The more you see/hear, the more you will understand.
Wolfpack is here for LOVEBITES! 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼
They all play piano but Miyako is virtuoso. In Japan respectful musician has to play piano it is obligatory. Asami vocalist play piano as well at the concerts in Lost In The Garden, We The United and Today Is The Day. By the way this mega masterpiece is my favorite song of Ladies😎🤟🤘🐺
best dual guitarists in these world 🌎
I feel so fortunate that I found this band a year ago, in time to realize how great they are, and be in position to get my ticket for Atlanta this September! LOVEBITES!!!
That's awesome!
Got my ticket for their Paris concert on june ! I can't wait !
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES.😀
That's a great reaction.
LOVEBITES has about 60 songs.
They are currently working on an album, so I think there will be about 10 more songs.
I want real, permanent following, not temporary algorithmic following.
However, I'm glad that everyone liked it so much.😀👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES.🙏
We will be diving deep into this group. We both like them a lot.
@@CoachCastTV
Thank you for your kind response.😀🙏👍👍👍👍👍
This one shows how diverse they really are. This has to be one of my favourite songs from them it's what you call a master piece.
Welcome back to Lovebites…”A Frozen Serenade” it’s a masterpiece from Lovebites… i’m glad you guys really like it… how about another masterpiece… this song is called “Edge of the World”… here is the link th-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ox1X2BhRSy_dHEFY
I prefer this link to the same video because it has the lyrics th-cam.com/video/Zr99B4RvaMc/w-d-xo.html
lovebites doing lovebites things. one of their best.
Life-long MAIDEN fan here and LOVEBITES is clearly carying the heavy metal torch going forward. 🤘🐺🤘
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics:
Crystal tears Falling from the skies
Veiling fears The emptiness inside
Time is just passing by
Killing me under the soft twilight
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
One life ends
And one life begins
Evanesce
To our origins
When I'm lost on my way
Lead my heart and guide me with your grace
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away
All living things are precious and irreplaceable
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky
If only I could wish to see you once more

LOVEBITES eine der Besten Live Bands auf diesem Planeten . Super!!!
If you were impressed by Miyako’s piano of this song, I highly recommend you to listen to “Swan Song with Chopin Intro.(Five of a kind 21/02/2020)” as your next choice. I ‘m pretty sure you would be surprised by her piano technique further more.
"Lost in the garden" *live* is not bad either. Míyako in the beginning, Asami in the midst.
@@jawosammadennhier7062 The song is good. But there is no good quality video of this song. Those videos that exist are unofficial recordings. This concert was recorded by spectators during its broadcast (on YT). Sound and video are highly distorted. Therefore, the recording quality is very poor
They are phenomenal. How musically badass is Miyako playing piano with a guitar strapped to her chest & jumpimg back up to shred...and Midori on acoustic. Just come on.
Lovebites amazing talent in all corners and much more .. they just never drop the ball .. incredible performances
Miyako was a classically trained pianist before she became interested in the guitar while Assami studied ballet in San Francisco and was an R&b singer before joining Love Bites.
This is my favorite LB song. The atmosphere before the piano interlude is incredible and Midori roaring out of the interlude with that solo gets me strangely emotional. To my knowledge, the only thing they’ve ever said about writing this is that they wanted a sad winter song on their third album because it came out in the winter. It’s a brilliant song brilliantly performed.
When Midori blasts into that solo after such a mesmerizing interlude, it shakes me to the core!
Want more epicness from Lovebites then check out "Edge of the World" live from Tokyo 2020. Use this link: th-cam.com/video/Zr99B4RvaMc/w-d-xo.html
Also, for another song that has some piano and also takes you on a journey (with some inspirational lyrics to boot), check out this live performance of Edge of the World: th-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/w-d-xo.html
try Edge off the world next. that song tops this. and Epilogue. all live. greetings from holland
Lovebites はメタルのネガティブな要素を排除した聴いていて幸せにしてくれる美しいバンドです
If you're not moved by that performance you need to check your pulse! 😂. BTW has anybody told you that vocalist, Asami, spend some 15 years in ballet before becoming a singer? They really are multi talented. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That's awesome!
I really appreciate your reaction to amazing Lovebites. This song is another masterpiece by them. This band is considered the most melodic heavy metal band by many people. So some people who are not metal fans happen to like their music. Some people say that they’re angels who came to planet Earth to save metal. They are top tier proficient musicians. They are five of a kind. I discovered Lovebites four years ago and I’m still in awe.
We're really enjoying their music so far.
This band writes songs that run the whole gambit of Past and Present Greatness from Rock to Metal too Classical and Beyond. They are a Super Group in that they encompass the very best of Music in many of its speeds, tones and forms. They really are brilliant. If this band hit the West in the hey days of 80's Metal they would be as big as Metallica is I believe.
Miyako is the lead guitarist. But before that, she is a pianist. Last year, she released a piano solo mini-album that arranged her metal/rock music in a classical style. She has also given piano recitals in Tokyo since then.
to really hear Miyako at her best on Piano check out Swan Song with Chopin Intro from Five of a kind 2020 th-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/w-d-xo.html
Miyako who played the piano is actually concert level trained pianist so she can play the piano :)
That's a masterpiece. No two ways about it. So glad Asami got to do some of her ballet in it, in the middle of an epic metal song, no less. They're amazing. You'll be in awe of any of their live songs, to be honest.
as far as showing off each member's musical capabilities this song may be the best to do that. then you throw in vocalist asami's beautiful ballet in the falling snow with miyako's piano and midori's acoustic guitar and you have magic. best live performance of a masterpiece you will ever see. no end to their awesomeness
An epic performance that both lyrically and compositionally evokes sadness imagery.
Lovebites is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Greetings from Argentina
"Lost in the garden" *live* will make you speechless, too. And please turn to "Edge of the world" *live* , too.
One of their masterpieces, they have more.
At the moment of this concert, Miyako (Guitar & Piano) was 4 months pregnant. Miyako is a trained classical pianist.
Goddesses from a distant land. Love Lovebites 🐺🏴🤘
These women are artists and craftsmen. They have perfected and executed what only they can do while keeping the traditional heavy metal tradition alive. I don't know which song you guys will choose next, but I'm looking forward to it.
This is my favourite Lovebites song. I don't use this word very often but it is a masterpiece!
I almost get tired saying this, but it is 100% deserved - another Masterpiece from Lovebites.
Hey Mr and Mrs Coach.. Told you Lol way back on your forst Baby metal reaction... So glad you like them, I knew you would.. Over 60 songs to go if you Dare.. Choose anything, they don't have a bad song.. If you like the piano introduction check out Swan song, but make sure you choose the version with the Chopin intro..
Best wishes as always from France
Yeah, they are superb! Appreciate you! 👍
@@CoachCastTV👍👍
One of the best metal bands I’ve ever heard and miyako is one of the most amazing individual musicians I’ve ever heard. 🤘🏻
Hi from the UK. Lovebites, there are many words to describe their absolute talents and musical prowess. Each of them brings such cohesion to their performances. Rarely mentioned are the bassist (in this case Miho) who doesn't use a pick, and Haruna, who I refer to as their "pocket rocket" for obvious reasons. They are all so in sync with their melodies and harmonies. Love your reactions! Stay safe and have a great day.
We appreciate you!
As you progress with your Lovebites journey, you'll find that the easiest way to define your favourite track is it's whichever one you're listening to at the time.
A couple of side notes that I have learned is the blonde guitarist, on the left, is also an amateur body builder and the lead singer has training as a ballerina which really shows in this song with her very graceful movements!
They're quite an impressive band.
Behold, the power of Lovebites! I saw what it did to you, Coach, your eyes were starting to glint because this performance almost brought tears to your eyes. You both know great talent when you see it. Your channel is Cowboy approved! Subscribed! Hope you’ll do more Lovebites. 😊
Welcome aboard. We'll absolutely be doing more.
Coach and Coachette, you summed it up perfectly. A production. Groups with a much bigger following, backed by much bigger record labels would not be able to present a true masterpiece as artistically and played so majestically as LOVEBITES. Asami trained for ballet until the age of 16, only to be told that she was too small to have a successful career as a ballerina. But every LOVEBITES performance she puts her training and background to full use. Watch her free arm whenever she is singing. It moves slowly and gracefully. And besides the dance routine on the catwalk, watch her descend the stairs with slow, deliberate steps, head slightly bowed, to end up on top of her eagle step at exactly the moment she begins the next verse, and does so with a slow, graceful lifting of her left arm.
She is elegance personified and is essential to the sound and image of LOVEBITES. I honestly thought I’d seen more than one LOVEBITES reaction by you before this one, so it must have made an impression on me. I do have to say that fronting a reaction channel puts you in a bit of a straight jacket, because you have fans of other bands who will feel cheated if you don’t cover their favourite band, yet that restrains your impulse to cover *YOUR* favourite band. As a LOVEBITES diehard I will say quite openly that no other band that you cover comes close to these ladies and if you want to binge on their talent…so what? It’s your channel.
Thanks...yeah, we definitely enjoy them. It is hard, because there are a lot of artists in multiple genres we have enjoyed and others we just want to get to for the first time. But we're having a good time and hope we can bring some joy to people and perhaps even introduce some people to new music as well.
Would you like to know their names and faces? Haruna (drums), founder of the band besides Miho (bass until 2021), Asami (lead vocals, ballet & piano), Midori (guitar), Miyako (piano, guitar), Fami (bass since 2021). . .
Thanks!
Yes, masterpiece. Lovebites was a factory of masterpiece. Aha, with Lovebites, be careful to announce your favorite song. You'll might be to add some more 😂🤘👍. Great reaction
Thanks!
Listen to it again, and again … and again. It just gets better each time.
Piano is MIYAKO’s first instrument. She has been dabbling in guitar for a relatively short time.
But it’s their Thrash-influenced songs that get me going. BREAK THE WALL incorporates the stylings SLAYER, TESTAMENT, and GARY MOORE - th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html
One of their masterpiece songs amoung others they have. Rhey are the Metal Queens 🤘. Recommend specifically Swan Song With Chopin Intro Live with lyrics
These young ladies are truly One-Of-A-Kind. There is virtually no other Band in the world that could perform this song in it's entirety.
This is a masterpiece. ❤❤❤
You need to add Break the Wall (2020) and Epilogue (2019) to your lovebites list too 😉 you cant really go wrong with any song as long as they are live vids
A masterpiece! bar none. so well done.
🤘🐺🤘LOVEBITES guitarist Miyako held her first piano recital ``A DAY WITH MIYAKO'' at TOKYO FM HALL on Sunday, November 19th.(2023)

STEINWAY Grand Piano
That's fascinating.
Great to see you reacting to LOVEBITES again so soon. In terms of Miyako's ability to play piano, that was just a stroll in the park on a lazy Sunday afternoon. To see and hear her true level of skill and talent you absolutely must watch "Swan song" with Miyako playing a classical piano intro. I guarantee it will blow your minds as you begin to realise the virtuosic talent Miyako displays on not 1 but 2 instruments. Did I not mention she plays drums, bass, writes lyrics, composes and arranges music, does backing vocals and has released an album as a solo artist of metal songs played on classical piano."Etude Op 23" by Miyako obviously. Miyako is a musical genius, a musical goddess as LOVEBITES are the goddesses of metal. Have provided a link to the video. Please enjoy, I know you will. Thank you both for your reactions, looking forwards to many more. Correction to the lyrics in Swan Song. Asami actually sings. " it's not the 'LENGTH', but depth." It is not 'WORTH' as displayed in the video, that is incorrect. Swan Song: LINK th-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/w-d-xo.html
Appreciate it! Thanks!
That right there encompasses everything that Lovebites can do all in one song. This song is in my top 3 Lovebites songs out of their 55 in total.
I enjoyed ye reaction to the best band in the world.
We need at least one Lovebites reaction from both of you every week. Lovebites will keep up the level song after song, I promise you guys! 🤘🤘
I knew you guys were gonna love this one. This is my favorite Lovebites performance. There is so much more to enjoy from this band, have fun! 🤘🐺💥
I thought you might just want to see more of this superb band after your last look at them...shortly back...a little while ago...once upon a time! Great choice of song and great reaction! PS Asami, the singer, used to be a ballerina and Miyako was a concert grade pianist before she ever picked up a guitar! What Mrs Coach said about how she would have got into Rock and Metal if it had been like this and also how Coach said he'd given up trying to find something good by the end of the century says everything about what these women - and the women of Band-Maid - are doing, which is taking up the torch of excellent music and making all the best music of the 21st century.
LOL...we definitely needed to hear more.
Great judgement to move them up the list. Thanks,
Thanks for watching!
very nice reaction tks from Toronto !!lovebites!!
Thank you! 😃
Imagine guitar its like a second instrument for Miyako...and the piano was the main. Lowebites "Swan Song" with the Chopin Etude tell you why . Talent over the sky !!
This is only the tip of the iceberg no bad songs you’ll say it a lot with this band “this is my favorite Song “. Swan Song with Chopin intro is a must
I am stunned the last few weeks0-came upon them by accident and blown away. Am a late 60's 70's gut who heard and saw everyone with great guitarists-Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream, Who-I could go on-didn't realize the degree to which I have missed greatness like this. I* am nit putting them ibn acatagory yet with those after three weeks but I cxan't stop listening. The song killsit likes it nobodys business.. What heavy riffs-damn!!
Agreed!
They always give such flawless performance.
I saw their show one week later from this live take. It was perfect performance once again、too.
Asmai wrote the lyrics and with Mao composed the music.
They will be in the US this year at a music festival in Atlanta. Have not seen a tour schedule.
One of my top 10 Lovebites tracks… which isn’t easy to pick with so many amazing songs. But here the performance on all aspects is magical 🤘🎸🐺
Lovebites is genial and this is one of many masterpieces! Just keep listening to them...
Greetings from Brasil!
🤟🏻🔥Lovebites🐺Perfection🔥🤘🏻
Gracias por la reacción a mi banda favorita👍🏻
I could suggest You a different side of Lovebites: 80' song: Spellbound always live in this show. Thank You.
EPIC SONG
Thank you for coming back to Lovebites, the most talented ladies in metal.
Thanks for watching!
To appreciate some of Miyako's piano skills along with what has been recommended by others I also put forward her arrangement & solo performance of Helloween's 'Eagle Fly Free'.
th-cam.com/video/-h3BLRs0Xr4/w-d-xo.html
Others have recommended this too, and for very good reason. But also do the whole bands cover of the same song as a comparison..
From this production, Shadowmaker is a great song.
I don't know what it is about this song, but each year they perform the song, it gets better and better.
As for concert intros, Thunder Vengeance 2020 and Hammer of Wrath 2023 are a blast.
If you like back and forth guitar solos, Scream For Me is great with Judgement Day right behind it.
Crowd participation songs I would recommend would be Raise Some Hell 2020 and M.D.O. 2023
Best concert closer would be We The United 2023 or 2020.
Possibly a Trilogy of story telling could be Apocalypse (before and while the WW2 nuke bombings), Under The Red Sky (the call for hope after the Bombings), and Above the Black Sea (A love letter to a prisoner in Eastern Europe). All three songs are great.
From the new album: Judgement Day, they have a Band Reaction video to all the songs. It is fun seeing them react to their own songs and show their fun side. All the songs are great, but My Orion, Wicked Witch, and Soldier Stand Solidarity (which has Miyako apologizing to Asami and Haruna for challenging them within the song) are all fun to watch.
And to throw you a curve ball, any song you chose out of the 60 plus songs they have can't not go wrong with your pick.
We keep hearing that while people have favorites there is no wrong one to do next because they are all good. Thanks for the great comment.
🐺LOVEBITES RULES🐺
Hellooo.Enormous band, more 80 songs and nothing bad.Recomended songs "Swan Song + intro Chopin" "Epilogue" We the united" .A Big hug
Just under 60 original songs so far.
👌👌🤟🤟@@1970Phoenix
at first i really hate to see asami's style of singing but after watching this video....i fell in love with her....
This is truly their masterpiece.
I can't wait to see them in September 🤘
These magnificent metal Princesses will be coming to the ProgPower USA XXIII Metal Festival, Atlanta as part of their "THE THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE" Tour early September(4-7th) 2024🤘
Midori💚💚💚💚💚 miho💜💜💜💜💜
Yes, metal is all screamo and doom!! If only the big music labels and radio stations in USA and UK would wake up and play this instead of 3 minute pop and c rap.
When you watch Swansong with the Chopin intro make sure it's the 2020 live version as this has the best audio.
👍
More skilled piano playing form Miyako. Check out Swan Song with Chopin intro from 2020. The video from that year is better then from 2023 soundvice.
🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺
YES....they are THAT good!!!!
Shes been playing piano for 30 or so years now 😁
Music has always been an invaluable companion in my life, but there were fewer and fewer musicians/bands that kept my interest. Then I stumbled across a MV here on YT in 2019 of 5 young ladies in maid costumes who turned my music world upside down within 4 minutes and at the same time opened the gates to a whole new world of amazing music bursting with brilliance. All these bands breathed a whole new life into a genre that I had also considered to be dead and they even taught me to love genres that had never really been my thing before. Which brings me back to these brilliant ladies in this video. Since I never really was a big fan of speed or thrash metal, I never really gave Lovebites a chance even though the name kept popping up from the beginning. It was actually only last year that these ladies finally got me, bit me and pulled me into their wolf's den. Today I ask myself why I 'ran away' for so many years. 🐺🤘🏻
