What is a travesty, is their TH-cam channel has only 95K subscribers. Since 2017 I have watched these ladies just blow away any other band especially LIVE. Yet, despite the Wolfpack going crazy and trying to get reactors and so-called metal fans to experience the best new band in decades the growth has been slow. Fami the new bassist has over 600K subscribers when she joined LB. They blew away Wacken despite being on a small side stage with a noon start time. Is it the fact they are petite Asian women who dress like J/Pop performers or is it the lack of exposure. Hell they sing in English and toured with Herman Li and the boys in the UK before Wacken and Bloodstock, yet here we are. Almost every reactors says why have I not heard of these women as the disappeared down the LB rabbit hole. Well done guys and welcome to the Wolfpack. The one promise we can make with this band, is you will NEVER be disappointed, you may love one song more than another but every song is great and LIVE they are the definition of flawless perfection!!
Could be that the industry doesn't want them competing with their investments. They know that LB would blow 'em all away, so the industry looks the other way, inferior billing, etc. The music business is a mafia selling shoddy goods and unless a band (like Metallica) doesn't knuckle down to their low standards, they will get short shrift
They are unbelievable, aren’t they? This song was written by Miho, the former bassist (and band’s founder) after she went to a Slayer concert. This band is a revelation.
The first Metallica album "Kill em all" is the album I listened to the most in my whole life when I was a teenager. You include this Lovebites track in that album it would not have been a shame. This track you take 3 Metallica tracks you put them in the blender and you get "Thunder vengeance". The drumming you would think was Lars behind it and the solo with the wawa you would say was kirk. "Kill em all" in my eyes is the precursor album of Thrash metal. Bands like "Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax" stepped into the breach and produced a personal equivalent of the Metallica style. This album when released at the time was voted best heavy metal album of the year. I never thought musically we could do better, Lovebites did.
This band became my all-time favorite band pretty quickly. Whatever influences you hear, IMO Lovebites does it better, period. And please, enough aggressive vocals in metal to sink a ship. The music is expert, and I love Asami's voice because it's not like anything else.
Cant' be better for a show opener!! Maybe next: "The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath" to start the encore of the concert. Sure you like if you liked "Thunder Vengance".
Miho (former bassist) wrote this song after attending a Slayer concert in Japan (2018-19) but it definitely has a master of puppets feel to it and as for Miyako’s solo at the end since you mentioned Kirt Marty Friedman has a show on TH-cam called Rock Fujiyama and he did an interview with both Midori and Miyako on their guitar influences and Kirt is one of Miyako’s top influences
Growling in a Lovebites record??? Sacrilege!!!! I think that the juxtaposition of Asami’s voice and the music is what makes them them, adding anything like that would just in my eyes be a sell-out for metal fans younger than the era that inspired the band in the first place. Having said that, great reaction again! They became one of my top bands of all time after just a few songs too. As to their popularity, I put that down to 2 main things. Firstly the hiatus and everything that happened behind the scenes… the better part of almost 18 months inactivity. They didn’t really re-enter the public consciousness to the extent they are now until they announced Fami at the back end of October and casual listeners were like uh oh they’re BACK. We always knew they would be. Remember too Judgement Day is their first full studio album in 3 years. Secondly, I blame the closed minds of the metal community at large. I’ve seen them announced on a few forums and seen a significant amount of comments alluding to their gender and clothing, idol group, this isn’t real metal blah blah. Their non-conformity to cultural and genre expectations isn’t an issue for me, but it appears to be the case at large, though I wish it wasn’t the case. Anyway, rant over, love these ladies, what they produce and all they represent, and appreciate your positivity and support of them… Break The Wall and Hammer Of Wrath are gonna be fun to see you react to, but don’t discount any suggestion you get, all their compositions are capable of standing on their own as great, all of them. Enjoy the ride!

More wholesome, Thrashy goodness from LOVEBITES: RAISE SOME HELL, Dimebag would approve of the pinch harmonic-based riffs - th-cam.com/video/zamSQD0JUFk/w-d-xo.html BREAK THE WALL, sounds like SLAYER + Gary Moore - th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html Don’t need any growling to corrupt their sound. Banish the thought.
Should check out We Are The Resurrection from their Judgment Day album, its just audio but my god, the dark riffs and guitar squeals are fn awesome in that song. One of the best songs to open an album I'd say.
The "signs of deliverance" is a great example of the synchronization and harmony between Miyako and Midori and their crazy guitar playing. th-cam.com/video/o6oVfCzruHQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=YanDinDazai
This is one of my favourite Lovebites songs where they go full speed/thrash metal mode. Unfortunately the new album, although it is very good, does not have songs like this one.
Is this your favorite piece? Just wait until you hear Break the Wall th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html. This is one of the most popular songs among Wolfpack.
Yeah, that breakdown is my fave from LOVEBITES. When you get around to "Shadowmaker," you got lotsa choices. My personal rec is the music video. (I prefer the guitar tones over some live versions, and because my fave Midori solo is in it, I'll fight for it ;) There IS an additional vocal flourish in live performances, so be sure to watch one of those too, even if you don't react to it. As with any live LOVEBITES, be sure to use a recording from TOKYO. Performances in Europe have shitty audio. In Tokyo, they use Finnish mixing gods.

Love your reaction and support for this transcendent band! Jason, Thunder Vengeance "was" your favorite until you dare to watch Break the Wall: th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html . Perhaps its time you guys check out two of their masterpieces that NO other metal band past or present could execute. The first is "Swan Song with the Chopin grand piano intro" : th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html . The second is "Frozen Serenade" th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html. I just checked out a reaction to Swan Song where Dizzy Reed from Guns 'N Roses said he felt like quitting after watching the performance :) th-cam.com/video/PDWTWhtnLfc/w-d-xo.html . In parting, the English lyrics to their songs is impressive ... given the big challenges this poses for native Japanese speakers, a process that they articulated in an interview: th-cam.com/video/7F3A3QKYNvI/w-d-xo.html. And yes, I agree that it's "a travesty" ... as whoever hasn't listened to this band is really missing out big time.
Some fans get bent out of shape when you compare Lovebites because honestly there isnt a single band in History like them. However I agree that much of Lovebites reminds me of the Fire and Excitement that is The Metal Juggernaut Metallica up till AndJusticeForAll. The Lovebites songs Hamer of Wrath and MDO are Thrashers much like this one. Enjoy!
Jason, this song, Thunder Vengeance, has an orchestral version (akin to Metallica and San Francisco Symphony). It's the fourth track on their EP at this link: th-cam.com/video/cjl0fiQTvqE/w-d-xo.html
The aggressive, masculine sound and the white gowns and high heels, with a 4' 9" "operatic" singer is the so-called "Gap". That what you see isn't what you hear and vice-versa. The singer is very important, I think she is the "feminine soul" of the band and all that this implies and must not be ignored.
Growling, not gonna happen with this band. I mean, maybe Asami will surprise us all on the next EP or album, but I doubt it. Maybe someone else from the band? They wouldn't use an offstage or guest growler, though. Personally, if there are to be growls, I'd like them to come from Midori (guitar stage right); that would be fitting.
New subs here,Hi metal heads pls. check Lovebites SWAN SONG with chopin intro,SPELL BOUND and WE UNITED you guys will blown away more, regards from philippines 🇵🇭 🇵🇭 🇵🇭....🤘🤘🤘☢☢☢☣☣☣
Lovebites should do a cover of Master of Puppets. I think that could go viral, and get a lot of notice mainstream notice of good they are. I'm pretty sure Nemophila's cover of The Trooper is the reason why they are touring America. They even play that one live on their current US tour.
Does anyone else hear how tinny the symbols are? Especially the big 1 she is ALWAYS GOING TO. Or is it just me? They just dont sound right to me but I've never heard anyone else say anything. Great drummer a Beside that
I'll tell you why they have minimal numbers because everyone keeps claiming they are only good live. That to me takes away from all of the studio recordings and it is going to remain that way until all of the ignorant morons stop making this biased claim. I have the entire collection and proudly say that I love it all, to listen to each album in my car full blast is freaking awesome and amazing, the same at home when I put them on my home stereo full blast and windows vibrate when I am jamming out to Lovebites. Don't get me wrong it is awesome to watch them live but I am not going to tell you that I prefer them live to the studio I love it all the same. why do you want to ruin something that is already perfect, if you want growls go listen to Nemophila or Bridear Lovebites does not have to prove anything to anyone, put up or shut up
Hey sir, i totally agree with you. I just don't understand the reason to be so angry and aggressive expressing your opinion, but hey that's me. Let's keep supporting this magnificent band 🤘🐺🤘
Hey Sal.. Enough with the "Ignorant Moron" coments it's getting lame, You are entitled to your opinion, doesn't make it the only one. "Put up or shut up"? Seriously? You do realise this comment is aimed at nealy every Lovebites fan here who loves their videos, and we, as you, are entitled to our opinion, wether you like it or not.. Calm down a bit, we are all on the same team.. Best wishes to you.
Here you go again, Saucedo, insulting the other Lovebites fans. I'll bet you're the type of guy who goes to a football game and gets into fistfights with your team's fans. If you prefer the studio recordings to their live performances, why don't you go blast your car stereo or home stereo and take your ignorant comments with you? You're actually criticizing a reactor for their opinion, and other Lovebites fans for stating their preferences, while spewing your own asinine opinions? If you get triggered by people's opinions you probably should stay away from reaction videos. This is the third time I've called you out on these type comments and you're apparently too much of a coward to respond. How about YOU put up or shut up?
Apparently you're going to great lengths to take the crown of king of grumps from me. But there is a difference. I hate low quality or false reactions, or very inaccurate comments from any channel, and I let everyone know, that's all. But I don't go around calling half the Lovebites fans "morons" just because I had a bad day and can't see more than two feet away. Have you ever thought that Victor Company is doing a very bad job in promoting the band? Have you ever thought that maybe because they have families they don't want to take the next step that would be overwhelming? Imagine a world tour having to carry babies or being almost newlyweds... Fans buy what is offered to them (you like it or not), and that is CDs (which you love so much), merchandise, DVDs of live concerts (which many also love). And thanks to that and thanks to the media like TH-cam, which is based entirely on the available material, people decide what they like best. And your bitter comments against the fans won't change that.. Do you think that there aren't bands much more successful than Lovebites that seem to do better in concert than in studio recordings? I really don't know why I waste my time with you. It is clear that menopause is hitting you hard.
Lovebites is a big fat loveletter to 80's metal music. They wear their influences on their sleeves and they're not ashamed... and with that skill set, why would they be? They're bringing the almost lost 80's style and sound back to current time and with such power.

LOVEBITES - Thunder Vengeance lyrics:
Gods of vengeance
Standing in the nightmare
The peal of thunder broke me and more
When losing my eye
The days will pass before me
A faded memory of what used to be
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Flames of despair burning
My blood is boiling inside me
Death by oblivion (Do it)
Deadly criterion (Do it)
Inner enraged demon is becoming me
Here come days of revenge
Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye
Lost in the rage
These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive
Into the blackness
Don’t reveal weakness
Hiding my curses, pay off an old grudge
Forgotten feelings, other than resentment
Don’t even mind giving others pain
Damn the redemption (Do it)
Drowning confusion (Do it)
Doom filled with righteous indignation
Where’s my salvation?
Damn the redemption (Do it)
Drowning confusion (Do it)
Does my life have meaning?
Am I a speck of dust?
I’ve got blood on my hands
I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name
Die in the sands
Your sins will never be erased or washed away
SOLO: midori / haruna
Beaten down but the hatred’s growing
Rotten pain that is never healing
Only I can end my suffering
I won’t kneel down because of yesterday
Gods of vengeance
Standing in the nightmare
The peal of thunder broke me and more
When losing my eye
The days will pass before me

2020, Zepp DiverCity Tokyo:
1, Thunder Vengeance ✅
2,Holy War ✅
The next:
3, Don’t Bite the Dust ( their first hit, their first single, their first videoclip ) th-cam.com/video/gCdIHDp217U/w-d-xo.html
4, Rising (different, jaw-dropping prog metal) th-cam.com/video/6nci8KtXJPk/w-d-xo.html
5, Raise Some Hell (a banger!) th-cam.com/video/zamSQD0JUFk/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction man....The Lovebites 🤘🤘🤘🤘
"Break the Wall" the live version from Zepp Diver City is sooooo HEAVY!
"BREAK THE WALL" live from Zepp Diver City. Pleeease 🤘
Holy war is actually after this song 🤟🔥🤟🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🦧🍌 next weekend Dallas TX. NEMOPHILA 🤟🔥🤟🔥 THANKS
Lovebites are the true legacy.
It's back live today.
Brake the wall, Scream for me , Burden of Time.
Break the Wall !!!!
One of their best ! Hopefully "Break the Wall" is next
Yes, this was the opener. Holy War was next. Takes some moxy to open a show like that!
Miyako💛💛
They don’t have a bad song in my opinion.
Great reaction. Please react to "Break the Wall" Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020
I think you will definitely love this song. 🤘🐺🔥
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Break the Wall next if u are listening 🤘
Next Lovebites song: "Break The Wall" Live! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🤟
This band became my all-time favorite band pretty quickly. Whatever influences you hear, IMO Lovebites does it better, period. And please, enough aggressive vocals in metal to sink a ship. The music is expert, and I love Asami's voice because it's not like anything else.
🚨Coming to Dallas Sept 8th 2024 🚨
I felt Midori’s solo had a hint of Slayer, and Miyako’s definitely Kirk Hammet
LOVEBITES - "Break The Wall" LIVE 2020: th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html
Sign me in, the best version of this banger live, imo 🤘
Good to see you back with LOVEBITES so soon. Now that you've seen the show opener please check out the encore opener from the same show.
The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath (Live 2020) th-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/w-d-xo.html
You must react to Break the Wall!!! Its their heaviest song
Guys, I so much enjoy your reactions to Lovebites. Please, any song from that 2020 Five of a Kind LIVE. All the songs even better :)
Raise Some Hell
Break the Wall
Shadowmaker
Swan Song
Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath
Edge of the World
More wholesome, Thrashy goodness from LOVEBITES:
RAISE SOME HELL, Dimebag would approve of the pinch harmonic-based riffs - th-cam.com/video/zamSQD0JUFk/w-d-xo.html
BREAK THE WALL, sounds like SLAYER + Gary Moore - th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html
Don’t need any growling to corrupt their sound. Banish the thought.
BREAK THE WALL LIVE is a guitar masterpiece.... 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Should check out We Are The Resurrection from their Judgment Day album, its just audio but my god, the dark riffs and guitar squeals are fn awesome in that song. One of the best songs to open an album I'd say.
Definitely a great song, we put out our review the album about a week or so ago, great album all around.
@@metalheadsjourney I will have to check that out
The "signs of deliverance" is a great example of the synchronization and harmony between Miyako and Midori and their crazy guitar playing.
th-cam.com/video/o6oVfCzruHQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=YanDinDazai
"That might be my new faviorite song". Fetch a piece of paper and begin counting how much you will say this. 😁
Next live songs Break The Wall, Raise Some Hell, Scream For Me, The Hammer Of Wrath....
Want more thrash tunes?
Listen to Break the Wall. 🤘😎🤘💥🎸💥
🤘🐺🤘
next Break The Wall one of the masterpiece of lovebites
Haruna does'nt need a Mjonir.. just a drumstick to bring a thunder....
Haruna! Haruna! Haruna!
🤘🤘🐺🐺🤘🤘...
now the hawakening / the hammer of wrath - live 2020
Interestingly, they never toured in the United States so far.... only Europe and Singapore....
In Tokyo, they use Finnish mixing gods.
is dude on the bottom left in the red with the cap always in witness protection or just on mcdonald’s wifi? 😂 i’m kidding.
Yea he currently lives out in the middle of nowhere and has garbage internet 😂
My internet is terrible. Country living has its perks. But high speed internet is not one of them 😂
@@jasonjones4907 i was joking, but yea you guys should definitely checkout epilogue and don’t bite the dust, a true ballad from epilogue and don’t bite the dust is just awesome. i’ll share the link for the song below.
th-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/w-d-xo.html
Killer opener with this track!! Haruna is such a bulldozer, what a drummer!! 🤘🐺🤘
Ex-bassist Miho said she came up with the riff for this song after seeing a Slayer show!! 🔥
Also, Break the Wall is one you need to check out - th-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/w-d-xo.html
Miho Miho Miho!
😁
Some fans get bent out of shape when you compare Lovebites because honestly there isnt a single band in History like them. However I agree that much of Lovebites reminds me of the Fire and Excitement that is The Metal Juggernaut Metallica up till AndJusticeForAll. The Lovebites songs Hamer of Wrath and MDO are Thrashers much like this one. Enjoy!
✨🥰🤘
they remind me a little of Katons vocals and Hirax. lol. they just kill miyako's a monster.
Can't get enough of Miyako. Ah i mean Lovebite :)
If you want to experience the different sides of Lovebites you should check out "dancing with the devil" "raise some hell" and "spellbound"
No! Never never want to hear any growling in any vocal lines of Lovebites. That would ruin them for me.
Next ...Shadowmaker
and you won’t hear a bad song
Jason, this song, Thunder Vengeance, has an orchestral version (akin to Metallica and San Francisco Symphony). It's the fourth track on their EP at this link: th-cam.com/video/cjl0fiQTvqE/w-d-xo.html
incase you didnt know that was the opening of the concert
Metallica wishes they were half this good!
The only time 49,000 can be justified with Lovebites is if they're paying to that many in a stadium.
Lovebites should do a cover of Master of Puppets. I think that could go viral, and get a lot of notice mainstream notice of good they are. I'm pretty sure Nemophila's cover of The Trooper is the reason why they are touring America. They even play that one live on their current US tour.
Do Raise Some Hell th-cam.com/video/zamSQD0JUFk/w-d-xo.html also from that show.
Does anyone else hear how tinny the symbols are? Especially the big 1 she is ALWAYS GOING TO. Or is it just me? They just dont sound right to me but I've never heard anyone else say anything. Great drummer a
Beside that
Miyako probably more talented but Midori is sooooo metal
Metallica's reference? Naaahh, it's Testament's References. Please Check "Burnt Offerings" from Testament.
no trash metal sinfonico no confundan
Trash? Try Break the wall
Thrash man lol
