Cafe Du Nord in SF has a 320-person capacity, and that was even packed, but so well worth it. We wouldn't get that if they played The Forum in LA, T-Mobile or MGM Grand arenas in Las Vegas, or a huge festival. I get what you are saying when they deserve to be in a bigger venue (I do too), but there is also a lot to be said about the smaller shows.
@@pema22 The September 1 show in Tokyo Garden Theatre wasn't fully sold out but almost full, and Google says the capacity is 8000 seats. I think that's their biggest one-band venue so far. So I think definitely they can reach into five digits if they and their crew keep going.
Went to see Lovebites in LA and SF!! I was in line in LA at 1:00am, 4:30am in SF! Though SF was the loudest of the two I enjoyed my time more in LA! Lovebites didn’t disappoint! I love your vlog! Glad you had a good time
I saw you at the San Francisco show. Front row between Asami and Miyako. I was center about 4 rows of people behind you. It was so hot in there that Asami was probably sweating on you. 😜 4:30 am. Wow! I got in line about 5:30 pm. Definitely way more VIP ticket holders than general admission. And yes, the SF crowd was small, 300 people but loud. 🤘🐺🤘

I remember hearing about the 4:30am VIP line group in SF. I was hoping to get front row but ended up behind you at 3~4 rows back. But what a killer show that was in SF!
Seeing LOVEBITES in a small venue as your first live J-Rock/Metal music experience wasn’t too shabby. lol Yeah, the fans are a good crowd, it’s always a good time.

As I said, “welcome to the community” everyone at these shows is super friendly and welcoming. I am so glad you had a great time at your first experience with the Jmetal crowd and hope to see you again at another show!
I saw them at the Garage in London, I also went on my own, I went by coach, (3-4 hours each way), and by tube,(London underground), so I understand how you felt in my own way, I think that I never thought of the safety aspect of going alone was because I'm a bloke, but I can understand how you would have felt, so I'll just say you are a very brave woman. Was the trip worth the money and time, hell yeah! They are #lovebites and they look and sound every bit like expected, only better in the live atmosphere. 🤘🎤🎸🎹🥁🐺🇬🇧
I also had a solo journey to see them in London. Both times a train to London, then another train to Peckham Rye and a bus for the New Cross Inn, and by the Tube to Islington & Highbury for The Garage, both times with an overnight hotel stay after the gig. I feel it was well worth the time and money spent. I'm hoping that with my advancing years I will still be active enough to still do this if/when they make a return visit to the UK . Fantastic vlog. You are beaming, happy that you had a great time! I saw Lovebites live in Milan (I travelled from Crete, Greece to see them) and it was the best experience of my life. This band is out of this world, live are incredible.
Saw them in LA and Milan. I'm going to say I enjoyed Milan more. Don't worry about going to Japan alone. I go to shows alone as well. The Japanese fan bases are tight knit and know each other. They'll open you with open arms and help you out. After a Band-Maid show, went out to eat and drink with dozens. The shows in Japan are bigger and the musicianship more on point since they are comfortable and well rested.
Great comment! I was rather afraid to go to Japan alone for a concert with basically zero knowledge of the language. I had the time of my life in a very friendly, respectful, and helpful community. I had such a wonderful time I went back 11 months later, again by myself, but with more confidence.
So glad you enjoyed the concert. Seeing a band live, there is nothing like it. When Band Maid come back you have to go see them. The concert in Atlanta was the best I’ve ever been to. Take care and have fun with the kiddos.
How cool is that! I'm especially happy because you're a girl, and Lovebites' message (although it transcends genders, ages and such) is very relatable to girls today even if they don't like Metal. I went to their concert at the Tokyo Garden Theater on September 1st, and was pleasantly surprised by the growing presence of women in their audience. I hope Lovebites had made a positive impact in their lives as they always did to mine... It's headbanging, sweat and tears all the time😂 but you feel blessed, recharged to whatever life throws at you next. It's positivity the Metal way. Of course I'll go see them again, my five guardian angels of Metal🤘🐺🤘
The show was amazing! And I'm so glad I had anything to do with helping you to feel so welcome and comfortable there! Meeting you and getting to talk was great and I'm very happy to see that you enjoyed your first JRock/Metal show 😁🤘
Really good VLOG. I’ve seen Lovebites, Band-Maid, Nemophila, Babymetal, and Marty Friedman in different Dallas venues. Actually, in many cities around the US and Japan. Sadly I missed Hanabie and Loudness due to an injury. The fans of all of these Japanese groups are very warm and welcoming everywhere in the world. Never be afraid.
It’s so nice that you spent an amazing time seeing Lovebits live. These women are just outstanding musicians. I knew you had attended this concert because The Pentagenarian commented about seeing you there.
I can relate i went to the San Fran show alone as well and had someone buy me a beer and everyone just talks and you would think you have known them for years was a great experience
I'm happy for you that you had the opportunity to see LOVEBITES live, and yes, you're right, it's completely different to see them LIVE, they're on another level, they blow your mind, I saw them at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark where I made a small video, and yes it's an unforgettable experience, you won a subscriber, welcome to wolfpack.🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹I'm glad you had fun, I attended their concert in Italy in June and it was a fantastic experience and meeting other fans who love these incredible Girls is beautiful. I love Lovebites and having them a few steps away from me was unforgettable, I was able to take a photo with them after the concert and I'm really happy also because they are nice and funny Girls, I hope to see them again because I love them.🫶🏻
Good concerts are good. So glad you had a fun time. And of course : metal audiences are the best, ever. btw, it's fun doing a 'back-of-the-head demographic check' - a nice mix of young/old/long-n-short hair... even some blue hairs. Metal crosses all the boundaries that people try to set up around it.
It really was an amazing performance! They definitely could have used a taller stage, but the sound was great. I was fortunate enough to see them in Atlanta and then Dallas, and both were memorable experiences!
Cool vid. They sound great. Just wait til your first Band-Maid show. And yes, get used to it...amongst the fan bases , your famous 🎉 And fyi...you never need to worry about your safety at any of these jband shows. The communities are very tight, welcoming and would tend to be very protective of you
Glad you got to see LOVEBITES!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!!! Thank you for this Vlog it was fun to see and love your little squeals of laughter in there!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!
I'm so happy and a lil bit jealous that you were able to go see them live, unfortunately for me the closest show was 700 miles away, it does seem like the folks who go to see the Japanese preformers are very nice, as I found out first hand at my first concert in over 25 years, Band Maid, hopefully my deteriorating physical self will allow me to see a few more artists if they come close enough, congratulations to you.
Happy you had the chance and went to see them. I experienced them live in June in Germany. 600 cap. venue, 3rd row. I had trouble adjusting to everyday life afterwards. I will go see them live any chance I get and like for you, there are plenty more bands on my list!
It's so wonderful a lot of us got to see Lovebites live this year! Us here in Europe and you over there in the States. I saw them three times: in London, in Lindau, and in Milan. Great experience! And I also went to the Meet and Greet in Lindau. I had practiced a few lines of Japanese before the concert, and I am so glad I could thank them personally - in Japanese - for the wonderful music they are giving us. Thanks so much, Haruna, Asami, Miyako, Midori and Asami!
Among the many heavy metal fans, I feel that Lovebites fans (Wolf Pack) in particular are very intelligent and ladies and gentlemen! I'm so happy that such intelligent people are my fans!
Exactly! I went alone to see LOVEBITES in San Francisco a few weeks back, ended up meeting four different groups of friends I’m staying in touch with now.
It was great chatting with you and the Pentagenarian in the VIP lounge, and showing off 2 of my boys :0). There is a concert @ the House of Blues in Houston on 10/5 with Born of Osiris, Hanabie, and Jinjer. I'm amazed and hyped that Hanabie is the #2 billed act. I saw them last year in a tiny bar, opening for another band (Galactic Empire). It's great that their star is rising so fast. I'll be there, constantly changing my shirt (I have shirts for all 3 bands, so I'm gonna change out for each group. 😀)
The Jinjer/Hanabie/Born of Osiris show in Houston is on 10/6. I will be seeing them the next day, 10/7, in San Antonio at the Aztec on the River Walk. I decided to get the VIP since it is limited to only 15 people per show. I am very, very much looking forward to it.
I was there, but didn’t get to meet you. I’ve seen Lovebites several times in Japan, and I was one of the few who had seen them before, so I was excited for you guys to see Lovebites for the first time. I’m glad that you had a great time there.🤘
That was an awesome vlog! Well done! I saw them in San Francisco. I remember when they first came out on stage I got chills. For me, it was by far the best concert of my life.
I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I went to the LA show and was about where you were, judging by your videos, minus the pole 😀. Great job with your first VLOG
Great vlog, thank you. So great that you got to see these ladies live 🔥❤️ Hope that you gonna see Band-Maid one Day too.. Everybody’s waiting their overseas tour announcement here in Europe and there in U.S.
@NittPicc no it ain't ! It's way do-able, tokyo garden theatre and zepp henada is a short 30 min commute from henada Airport. Zipair is a budget airline but you have to fly out of LA SFO and san Jose into narita. Still no big deal the train station is right at either airport arrival area everything you need to get to the show is at the airport atm sim card and lodging you pickup tickets at the convenience store (konbini) . It can be done within a weekend and on the cheap. That goes for all the JROCK fans. J-U-S-T G-O the japan shows are on another level.
@@NittPicc I just gotta second what @flacchecker8264 says. When I first got into Band-Maid, going to Japan to see them seemed utterly crazy and impossible, but I made it happen for the Yokohama Arena concert and am going back in November. flacchecker has great suggestions on cutting costs, and food and lodging in Japan can be pretty reasonable. Plus, like I said above, you might be able to crowdfund some of it!
@@TheCyberMantisThere are many foreigners working at konbinis nowadays, so fear not! And everything is very intuitive, so you can navigate easily (although public transportation can be a bit confusing if you're commuting through big hubs like Shinjuku station... But if you're carrying a smartphone with apps, no sweat)👍 Long term wise, it can be difficult (like going to the city office or opening a bank account), but if you're visiting, it's very nice😊
So glad you got to go to your first J-Metal or J-Rock show! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Hoping you have the opportunity to attend many more. I'm glad you felt welcome and among friends at that show. Sadly, I couldn't see Lovebites on their recent U.S. tour, but the folks I've met at other Japanese music concerts in North America (Band-Maid, Hanabie and Fate Gear) have been really cool and mutually supportive, and there's a good bit of overlap in the fan bases. Also, I do hope you consider a trip to Japan at some point to see some of the bands you've gotten to know and love over the past year or so. If you crowdfunded some of the expenses for that, I'd definitely kick in some money. Seeing your reaction at your first Lovebites, Nemophila or Band-Maid show in Japan would be priceless!
I’ve been a Lovebites fan for 7 years and seeing them live finally was a dream come true. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget, just like when I met Tarja (ex Nightwish). I love them even more now!! 🖤🤘🏻
I was standing real close to you i was the guy on your right with the tattooed arms and the Lovbites hat and long gray hair. I don`t know if you remember me but I watch your reactions i`m from Nebraska Like your channel on the lower far right i`m holding up my phone😊🤘🐺🎤🎸🎸🎸🥁🔥
I was all stoked to go, and was totally bummed when I came down with likely COVID!, By Saturday on the day we were supposed to fly down, I was too ill to get out of bed! So glad you had a great time and experience. Thanks for sharing so I could at least get a taste of what it was like being there.
Awesome that you got to see them and are so 'stoked' about this experience! These ladies need more and more of this kind of exuberant support! Thanks for the video!
Absolutely wonderful you got to see them! I won't see another concert until I see them so they need to come to Boston, MA really fast! It's bumming my kids out as they want to go see some shows. 🤣 Love your VLOG experience, ty for sharing! 🤘
Good for you going on your own. It can be a different experience. But when it comes to "foreign" bands in the US, the fan base tends to be tight-knit and very welcoming.
Looks like it was a great concert, I was hoping to drive up to Dallas from Austin to see the show myself but I couldn’t make it. I drove up to Dallas last year to see Nemophila at Trees in Deep Ellum and that was awesome. I saw Band-Maid in May of last year and Hanabie here in Austin and they were both amazing live and really fun shows. I agree with you about the family aspect of the fans because I met some reactors and just some great people outside the venues and inside, people willing to give me stuff and offer food and drinks waiting to go inside. I feel so disappointed that I missed Lovebites and hope that they come back soon and it would have really been cool to meet you because you seem really cool and fun and I like your reactions!! Keep up the great work!!
So Glad you have a wonderful time, i also did, i also struggled to see these wondwerful ladies im also kinda short xD, but also i¿have the time of my life, you were so famous in my lane, i was on the VIP M&G Lane, antd they said, over ther is NitPic!!!, hope to say hello sometime in the future! 🐺❤
Love your vlog. I had same excitement when I saw Lovebites in San Francisco. Cafe Du Nord probably is the smallest venue in their tour but I can't complain, the sound was amazing no matter in front of the stage or back of the room.
Yeah it was so fun to meet you and also talk to you a bit after the show as well. What I love about going Japanese artist shows, you never go alone. People there are always wanting to talk and commiserate. Also you can never show up too early as evidence by Band-Maids infamous Dawn Patrol that has started to spread to other bands. Already I can't wait to see Lovebites again and if you ever find yourself coming to Chicago for a show, I'd be glad to show you around. I'm actually going to see The Warning today at Riotfest here in Chicago.
@@sondebueu exactly what it sounds like. They show up at dawn for band maid shows (sometimes a little pre dawn). Also they will check in other fans and write numbers on their hands to give them a spot in line. Same thing happened at this Lovebites show and I think the first person was there at 8am
I wish that I had been at the Dallas show to help you get closer to the stage. I think the sea would have parted for you since you are a bit of a celebrity to the Wolfpack, not to mention a woman that would not have blocked anyone's view. On Sunday, I was still on my way back to Texas from Atlanta where I saw Lovebites and a lot of other great bands. I attended ProgPower Thursday, Friday and Saturday and I had a great time. It has already been mentioned, but Jinjer and Hanabie will be in Houston on 10/6 and San Antonio on 10/7. I will be at the San Antonio show. I know those days are tough for you since they are a Sunday and Monday. Also, I am taking my wife, daughter and granddaughter to see BabyMetal in OKC on 11/29. I think that BabyMetal is a group that everyone should experience at least once, which is why I am going.
That WAS you! I thought so. I was standing across from you in the GA line and probably was very annoying as I kept looking at you to confirm my suspicion. LoL Glad you have a great time. They were great!
I had the pleasure seeing them this summer in Germany ….after Rolling Quartz in February and before The Warning in Wacken. It‘s been a good year for me. 🤩 With Band-Maid it would be a perfect run. 😭Sigh…….
You got to see the greatest modern metal band live. That's f'ing awesome. And in November, you'll have a chance to see the greatest modern rock band, too.
I would so love to see LoveBites or Nemophila where I am in St. Louis, but it seems a long shot right now. I do tend to go to concerts alone myself, but for my last 2 in May(Kamelot and Lacuna Coil), I bought 2 tickets each and got a family member to come along, since my ankle was broken last year. Arriving early did get me chairs to sit in. I go with still photos during the concert rather than video, and usually just one photo per song.
Thank you for the opportunity to relive these moments from the show!! I'm bummed I didn't see you! You are right there are a lot of tall people at that show. You should've joined us on the balcony. Totally unobstructed view, and the sound just ripped through our bodies, Haruna and Fami rattled our bones in the most glorious way! Awesome show!!! So looking forward to seeing them again, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I was up there too! Fantastic view. My only complaint was asking the venue for months to sell the balcony seats for any price. I was so happy they finally allowed concert goers to purchase the seats after entering the venue for next to nothing. Actually $20 upgrade. The band and venue could have made much more, but at least I got my desired railing seats for cheap.
You're so lucky! It looks like you had a blast. It seems weird to see them on such a small stage. They deserve large venues! I can't wait until they come back to the US hopefully closer to where I live.
This particular tour was about testing the waters. They had absolutely no idea how well received they would be or what turnout they would have, so they were absolutely shocked to have every date sell out. By contrast, when Nightwish first announced their Human II Nature tour, they only announced 3 shows: Toronto, Boston, and Los Angeles. That was it. But now that they know they have the fan base here, they are definitely coming back. In fact, they said as much at SFO. I was at the SFO show, when they said they would be coming back next year and including Mexico in their tour schedule. So they’ll definitely be playing bigger venues. I don’t think we’ll see a grand piano on stage, but they will definitely be playing bigger venues.
Hey NittPicc, sooooooo happy you got to see Lovebites!!! They're an awesome band of little Japanese heavymetal-ness 🙂 I saw them in San Francisco and it was incredible, and I went by myself and met a lot of very friendly Japanese music fans....saw more than a few Band Maid shirts there, lol.
I've seen them too and yes, just an amazing experience! Since this TH-cam thing, I've seen more concerts in the last year than the rest of my life. It is great to meet people and see these bands play live🤘
I was there. It was amazing! Like you said, the sound was actually really good there, considering. It was amazing to be able to see them do that live, because like you said, no amount of live YT videos compares to seeing and hearing that right in front of you! They're so talented. I saw you there. For a short time, you were right in front of me, and then off somewhere else. Sorry for being tall! Lol. Hell of a show. I think we're all very lucky to have seen them in a venue like that, because they deserve to be filling venues at least 10x that. Can't wait for the next tour!
These ladies deserve to be in a bigger venue.

Meeting you and getting to talk was great and I'm very happy to see that you enjoyed your first JRock/Metal show 😁🤘
I saw them in L.A.. and it exceeded ALL my expectations. I really didn't expect that much energy out of item but they have it
Really good VLOG.
I was really looking forward to this concert review from you. It was very interesting!
Thanks for the video!
It’s so nice that you spent an amazing time seeing Lovebits live. These women are just outstanding musicians. I knew you had attended this concert because The Pentagenarian commented about seeing you there.
What a great video this is! Thank you for posting it! The sound is pretty good, too! 🙏 NittPicc, you're the best!🕊&❤
I love Lovebites and having them a few steps away from me was unforgettable, I was able to take a photo with them after the concert and I'm really happy also because they are nice and funny Girls, I hope to see them again because I love them.🫶🏻
Shes so amazing vocalist vocks really great band and song! parfect scampering!!🎶⚡💖🌠☝🏻🤘🏻👍🏻🌟
Loved meeting you and it was a great concert!
Good concerts are good.
So glad you had a fun time.
And of course : metal audiences are the best, ever.
btw, it's fun doing a 'back-of-the-head demographic check'
- a nice mix of young/old/long-n-short hair... even some blue hairs.
Metal crosses all the boundaries that people try to set up around it.
It really was an amazing performance! They definitely could have used a taller stage, but the sound was great. I was fortunate enough to see them in Atlanta and then Dallas, and both were memorable experiences!
So lucky to be able to be there, thanks for sharing this!
Cool vid. They sound great. Just wait til your first Band-Maid show. And yes, get used to it...amongst the fan bases , your famous 🎉
And fyi...you never need to worry about your safety at any of these jband shows. The communities are very tight, welcoming and would tend to be very protective of you
Great comment, and spot on. 👍🏻
I drove from NJ to be there and it was amazing night. I saw you in line outside NittPicc but I didn't want lose my spot to say hi to you 😢
NJ to Dallas? Wow, that is dedication. Hardcore fan you.
Love Lovebites 🐺🤘🏴
Glad you got to see LOVEBITES!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!!! Thank you for this Vlog it was fun to see and love your little squeals of laughter in there!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!
Thanks for posting this. I'm glad you had fun at the show, and you got a cool t-shirt!
So glad that you had such a great time, there really is nothing like actually seeing great bands live. Rock on Nittpicc !!!
I'm so happy that such intelligent people are my fans!
glad you have fun. cant wait til you can come home to your first okyuji!
Glad u had a good time nit
There’s no need to take anyone with you to a Japanese concert. Your new friends will meet you there.
@@danw6048 Thanks.. I'll fix my typo
I was there, but didn’t get to meet you. I’ve seen Lovebites several times in Japan, and I was one of the few who had seen them before, so I was excited for you guys to see Lovebites for the first time. I’m glad that you had a great time there.🤘
lovely video ^.^ thank u kawaii Nit 🥰 Lovebites
Glad you had a good time. I saw them in London a few months ago and they were fantastic.
That was an awesome vlog! Well done! I saw them in San Francisco. I remember when they first came out on stage I got chills. For me, it was by far the best concert of my life.
you are super cute without any makeup! and I really enjoyed your vlog!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I went to the LA show and was about where you were, judging by your videos, minus the pole 😀. Great job with your first VLOG
I went crazy and saw three shows, but missed Dallas. Thank you for posting this, and happy you had a good time!
Great vlog, thank you. So great that you got to see these ladies live 🔥❤️ Hope that you gonna see Band-Maid one Day too.. Everybody’s waiting their overseas tour announcement here in Europe and there in U.S.
We got to get nittpicc out to tokyo for the full shows.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This is a big dream!
@@flacchecker8264 Yeah, Japan shows have the full stage production, lights, everything. Do workers in the konbini speak English?
@@TheCyberMantisThere are many foreigners working at konbinis nowadays, so fear not! And everything is very intuitive, so you can navigate easily (although public transportation can be a bit confusing if you're commuting through big hubs like Shinjuku station... But if you're carrying a smartphone with apps, no sweat)👍
Long term wise, it can be difficult (like going to the city office or opening a bank account), but if you're visiting, it's very nice😊
Looks like you had a blast! Was Milan and Paris for me 🤘 on the height thing.. maybe you could get some 1970s style platform boots? Cheers
So great to see your excitement, that's exactly how I felt when I saw Jinjer, and then some time later Band Maid. Love your channel.
I just saw them in Atlanta and it was a fantastic show
thank you for your appreciation of this phenomenal band and for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! 🤘🔥
Dawn Patrol? what?
Japan is the home of metal & rock queen.
😭Sigh…….
It was nice meeting you and talking while waiting in line. I’m glad you were able to get good video from the spot you were standing at.
Awesome Show. I was there on the rail in front of Miyako. I didnt get a chance to meet you
You got to see the greatest modern metal band live.
Still beautiful and congratulations!
Awsome 🎉Glad you enjoyed Lovebites’s concert 🔥
Thank you for sharing this vlog❤
What a night!! I met you up there and I subscribed to your channel in front of you!
It's still hard to believe that we were in the same room as Lovebites. Truly an unforgettable experience.
Congratulations sis. Great experiences with Lovebites. 🤘👍
Glad you got to see the metal queens 👑. I'm hoping they return to the United States in 2025 and play more dates.
Das war fantastisch! Besten Dank und herzliche Grüsse aus Lucerne, Switzerland.
It was great to see the excitement of the live show!
좋은 영상. 굿!
