I have one it has been doing fine, well the other day my middle son hit it with a riding mower an now it won't shut off with the switch or even the key it stays running with both off do you have any idea what maybe causing it
Do you know were i could get a 5 pin and 3 pin female ends for kill and starter swich i looked everywhere and their all different ends to what i have got ?
@@joshpaulschram I’m dumb when it comes to multimeters,bare with me, so when you tested the kill switch does the switch itself need to be hooked up to a power source or will you get a reading just from turning the switch on and off while solely connected to the multimeter?
@@mdell7131 set the multimeter to continuity (omega symbol or horseshoe looking symbol) or the 'beep' (meaning when you touch the probes together it beeps) then use it to see if you have the correct wires that go through the switch.
Thank you that makes sense now I just need to figure out why my son’s Chinese 110 quad won’t start with the key,the key gives it power but we need to jump it with the solenoid to start it so I’m thinking it’s the starter button or something like that ,who knows, thanks for your help
@@mdell7131 are you getting 12v at the small post of the solenoid? Does the solenoid have a good ground. Can you take a wire from the battery to small post of solenoid and make it start. If you can check the ground. Ohm out solenoid coil. Small posts. Should have resistamce...or beep
Why would anyone wast money on that junk in 2004 bought Honda 250 for 5400$ my brother bought a Chinese quad for 2000$ his lasted about a year the Honda still runs perfect and I still can get 5k for it

There's a black wire with a with line its in the plug for the cdi box . Check its connection. Make sure its pushed in good .
As long as its a single plug style I believe.
