In a way it saved my ass because the clinicians and medical staff were asking questions about why I self-harmed and it all led back to my husband. Once I learnt some DBT skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness my mental breakdowns became less but his abuse had to become more extreme to be effective. I've been in therapy for years trying to get better and this dude is like I'm ok. I'm cured. I worked it out in a matter of months. Creepy and a big fat lie for a sex addict and an abuse perpetrator cause that's what he is in addition to all the narc traits.

As a Christian, I don’t feel comfortable when people use God to hide behind their short comings because it only makes them look disingenuous and won’t take accountability for their actions. The Bible talks about free will and we all have free will to do as we please. But homeboy made the choice to step out on his wife numerous times and that was him, God has nothing to do with that.
