Very good! This guy is a very good troubleshooter. I love how he used and interpreted the electrical schematics properly.
Amazing way to explain. Thank you.
Your a gem brother
The best video I have ever seen, you did an awesome job explaining all the details.
I have seen other videos where they said you need to add oil to the new compressor, too. Iknow the compressor comes with around 3 oz inside, but is it necessary to add at least another 2 oz can?
Very well explained
Glad to see you back Homie Hector
Hector, long time where u been as always good information and approach how to check the A/C thanks for sharing.
Welcome back. Missed your videos. 👍 👍 👍
Liked the way you explained about the ac clutch and checked the fuses and wiring. Good mechanic.👍👍👍👍👍
Very well done. It's relieving to watch such a professionally put together informative diy.
Very well explained carnal
Nice to see you back!!
Welcome back! Great video thanks! since you are mobile what do you use to discharge the system in the field?
Thank you hector great information and instructions
Excellent video
Excellent video Hektor - youre a consumate Pro. Thank you for taking the time to make such a high quality and INFORMATIVE video. Love to watch you work when it comes to electrical diag - you break it down simple style for us potato heads - I always learn from watching you. Keep em coming Bro!
very nice video !!
On the AC compressor, do you primer it before installing it with compressor oil?
Really good video. But I noticed that you didn’t change the filter drier. I need to change my compressor but they keep telling me I absolutely need to change out the filter drier but taking the entire front end of my vw Jetta is not an option for me. Is it okay to just put in the new compressor WITHOUT changing the filter drier?
Best darn informative video!!👍👍
Well done!
You are a fine teacher
Great video thank you. very much. I wish. I have one like you. to fix my same problem. in Austin, TX. Thank you again.
You gave a pretty good and clear explanation on how to troubleshoot it. I have the issue with my car, tried to recharge Freon but I noticed that the clutch is not engaging so I’ll follow your tips to see if I find where the CHINGADERA isn’t working.
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Juts loved when you called it “chingadera”
I have a 02 f 150 ac clutch not pulling in I have power to my plug on the switch in the cab I have power to my fuses and relays but can't get anything to my compressor I checked the continuity of the switch and it checked good but one of the prongs has a good bit of movement so I'm thinking long shot of bad cab switch or broken wire? Any thoughts?
What could cause the ac comp 10amp fuse to keep blowing up??
Very well explained practically showing everything. Really you know your profession very well. Great video. God bless you. Thank you, sir. 😍😍👍👍❤❤🌹🌹👏👏👏👏👏🇵🇰🇧🇷🇺🇸🇨🇭
A system low on refrigerant would not allow compressor to engage as well. Excellent video troubleshooting. The only thing I would've done is purge the yellow line once removed from vacuum as it has outside air. Use Schrader valve to purge air out before adding to low side. Nice job
After getting new testing tools, ripping the car appart while doing the diagnostic, I was about to go a lot deeper when I remembered your comments, you were right, I was only low on refrigerant, so much time wasted. I least I learned new things. Thanks for your comments!
😢⅞u
Good catch
Is it really that simple? The AC on my 2018 ELANTRA started blowing hot air two weeks ago plus the sensor that reads the outside temperature stop working because the dash no longer displays the outside temperature. Plus the AC button on the climate control has been flashing often on like the compressor is trying to kick on but it’s not.
Appreciate it lmao
Lol I enjoy the edits and all the effects. Makes the information more enjoyable. What state are you located in?
Im into failsafe of computer systems but often in videos they describe to much for beginners which is very annoying , i can understand that you are pro and if you havent taking your lessons you should not mess with this. Love to watch it anyways 💯
Good morning hector. I am learning a lot from your video. Now, where can I buy a portable temperature gauge like yours. Just tried eBay and saw none like yours. Thank s in advance.
How much would this cost to get done
You da man Hektor!
I dont get power at the conector, (yellow wire) but I do have power on the fuse and the relay, you think the wire is damaged?
Good job
How did u check the fuse with jus the black fuse?
Very good
My AC Compressor is not engaging, but i can move it freely with my hand, but i also checked and am low or empty on Freon, it was working fine several weeks ago, but in NYC its winter so i havent been really paying attention until today. No AC, no Compressor engagement.... could it just be that i'm low on freon? I'll add some and see if it kicks in.
Question ? 🙋🏻♂️ you used the same vacuum pump for residential A/C for the car?
oh man long time no see!
When I try to turn on my ac my rpm’s go up a lil and the ac doesn’t come out cold any ideas on what it is?
Fantastic!
Bad ass Diag dude
Can you make a video on how to empty out the Freon.
Very good job homi thanks homi l like it
Can I reset ac by pulling fuse then putting back in? Should car be running? Should ac be running?
Great video new sub
The best video la neta
Need contact info, Do you take cars locally. Pomona is close by need a dignosis on a dtc code Mustang 2016 GT
So ac clutch wasn’t engaged because it was low on Freon? Or it engaged because you pulled vacuum?
Mine only kick in with the paper clip at the sensor box but not on the accumulator wire sensos. Any ideas
its the flux capacitor
Hi brother thanks for your videos I'm a subscriber.
Question please...
I have a 1995 Lexus LS 400.
The radiator fan is not activating.
It does work because i tested it.
I disconnected the connector that's connected to the ac receiver drier and the radiator fan turns on and stays on continuously the whole time.
But when I reconnect the connector the radiator fan turns off.
I'm trying to fix the fan so that it turns on when I turn on my air conditioner but the fan does not turn on when I turn on the AC.
I feel like it has something to do with that connection but I'm not sure.
Do you think I might have a bad sensor that's connected to the receiver drier?
Thanks.
Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.
I’m haveing same problem compressor won’t engage clutch won’t work with out useing paper clip in the reLay please help me tell me wh❤at
No serpentine belt tool link??? 😑
Something i notice with the hyundai is that the ac compressor oil does evaporate out of the compressor causeing high readings going up in the yellow
Another solution is replacing just the compressor clutch instead of the whole compressor, which saves time and $$$ money.
Hey brother where are you located?
Is it possible to just replace the clutch instead of the whole compressor??? More affordable? Thanks
Yes if that’s the main issue
What about is the compressor is clutching ?
my chingadera 2001 chevy silverado don’t have power to pressure switch all the fuses r good can u help
mine engaged for 1 second and turn off .low side reading high pressure
what could it be 😢

compressor engages if bypass relay. power does't go to relay. pressure and temp switches are working. what else problem can be?
I’m having a similar problem. I’ll completely empty the system and when I try to fill it it’ll literally say it’s completely full after barely putting anything in. So I’m assuming there’s a blockage somewhere. Not sure if there’s a more common place to check for blockages. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Btw I’ve already checked all fuses/ relays. I also checked high side pressure switch which happened to not be closed. Thought I figured it out. Replaced that and it’s still not closing. So I’m not getting enough pressure on high side for switch to close even tho when I put gauge on it says it’s completely filled. Any info would be appreciated!
I have exact same problem with my AC system on a 2007 town country Chrysler, when I started to add frion to the system it tells me is over fill but I checked the pressure on the valve low side and there's very little frion, question what could be the problem??
is the compressor it self wrecked?
is it computer wrong out put to AC system??
also when I disconnect the pressure sensor the clutch engaged but after I plug back the pressure sensor switch the clutch stops working, what could be the problem??help any one please??
@@vazquezraul84 that’s really weird that when you disconnect the pressure switch that the clutch engages. Usually that only works if you jump the switch, closing the circuit. Seems like the computer is reading things wrong and telling things to do or not do things that it should/shouldn’t. Any chance you have an obd to read the data?
Expansion valve or pressure valve ac
How much PÁG oil do I put on a compressor?
If there is no ac. Is leaked the compressor engages or not
Hey bro why does my radiator fan turn off when i try to turn the ac on. As soon as is off it turns back on to cool engine. I know there’s something with the ac the clutch turns on but blowing fire at the vents 😂 any advice
Help. The AC Compressor kicks in when bypassing the relay but not when I turn it on from the inside. Can it be that it doesn't have enough gas pressure in the system? Or is it that theres a cut wire that sends the signal to turn on the AC?
Always change condenser and drier at same time
Stick this “CHINGADERA” over here! Ok?😂
Where in Pomona i need help my car asap
I changed my ac compressor out because the clutch messed up. But new clutch won't engage. I don't have those tools you have to test, is there another way to test?
Have the same problem man. Mine engages if give it direct power so I know it works. Gonna have to take mine to the ac mechanic.
oh, why not A/C magnetic clutch replace only ?
Took my car to AAA Auto Repair Center on Tully Rd in San Jose to repair the air conditioning. They told me that the compressor was bad (which I had already figured out since it had a frozen clutch..couldn't push it in by hand while engine was off). I know compressors cost about $300 but they were going to charge me over $1500 to replace it. Then, later, they called me and said they would have to also replace the receiver drier and that would cost another $400 or so. So, after I went back to pick up the car, I looked under the hood and saw a nice shiny new compressor but couldn't see the receiver drier until I got home. Turns out that the receiver drier is like welded to the side of the condenser and has a plug on the bottom that needs to be removed in order to insert a cloth-like cylindrical shaped tampon-looking "drier" that takes moisture out of the system. That's all they did...and they charged me over $1900. The drier "tampon" can be bought at auto stores for from $15 to $35. And the compressor can be bought for about $300. My car is a 2014 Hyundai Tucson. Once you take off the splash panel under the engine of the car and look up at the bottom of the "condenser", on the driver's side of the vehicle, you can see and access the "receiver drier" plug to remove an then to insert the "tampon". I couldn't drain the coolant into a collector before removing those parts so I had to have all this work done by "professionals". Funny, not, how the government will fine you big bucks if you let the coolant escape which helps contribute to global warming but they have no problem sabotaging gas pipelines like the Nordstream pipeline which belched tons of gas into the atmosphere for many days! It's no wonder we are having high, record, temperatures. Wars don't help either. Same thing happened after WWI and WWII..record high temperatures worldwide! Thanks a lot Putin...you son of a b...!!! Putin needs a "b" to the head!!!
Spending $2000 on an ac is ridiculous, unless maybe you live in Florida or Arizona. At that price I will have to fix it myself or it won't get fixed. I'd rather tolerate the 3 months of summer with the windows down. I care more about the heat than ac
@@hearditfirst8010Texas too . I pay 1000 .with parts . Condenser ac compressor and refrigerant .
@@italianozuzu1232 Thank God I live in NY, so it's only 2 months of hot weather. With my windows and roof down, I can barely feel any heat. My compressor just went out, the mechanic quoted me $1000, I ran the hell out of there. Compressors are like $200. I will fix it myself, but I'm not even in a rush because we are now in winter and the summer heat is just 2 months.
You must be like me, and you decided that you didn’t wanna work for employers anymore! Always seems like they want to pay you as little as possible and give lots of BS ! Great video!!
They sort of decided for him some guy ratted him out at Firestone for making videos on youtube.
The link to the tools is not working
So even if the low side is reading retard and the high side was reading high I did all the wiring checks and power was present at the compressor so I determined the compressor was bad but the person has one of those ac recharge with a gauge and idk if they just added too much refrigerant and I asked them and she said no but would an over charge cause the pressures to be that high? It was also hot that day is was 100 degrees.
What if no air is blowing through the vents?
It’s the blower motor

Why not just switch out the clutch?
what if fuses good, relay good, coil good then what
Question on my 62 impala with vintage air , I’m not getting power going to my AC compressor. I have a 5 pin relay ,pin 30,85 and 86 have power but nothing going to pin 87 which goes to compressor btw I did replace the relay still nothing any help please
You also did not purge the line while charging
New compressor becouse the coil its not working, the coil can be replemented , easy work, can be fixid withouth too remome the Compressor
You never play tools in the drop down part
Wonder if he’s so busy he can’t upload that much? Or if he doesn’t get enough work to upload more frequently?

Good vid, but it's pronounced "TOO-SAA-ON"
I removed my compressor and leaked coolant 🤷🏻♂️ there are far worse things messing up the world then me messing this crap up.
I woulda just replace the ac clutch much cheaper and less work
Wouldn't worry too much about releasing gas to atmosphere. From what I've seen all asian countries don't follow collection procedure. So what we do to help is a piss in the ocean. Shame, but that's the reality.
wtf is this a joke u have to show how to fix ol problem on not working compressor
Oh a wall jumper is talking, imma get out of here hhehehehe.
My 2011 srx only blows cold air on the passenger sid only, and sometimes it just blows warm air everywhere.
What can be the issue
Sounds like a blend door to me
