Dealerships don’t seem to understand that the previous LC was starting at 90k and didn’t sell well. Toyota dropped the price of the LC to improve sales but here comes dealerships making excuses on why it should be selling for 80-90k again. 🙄 Good luck dealerships, just good luck.
As long as people keep buying the LC with marked up prices, Dealers will continue to sell them with marked up prices. The LCs are selling well in my area.
They sell before the dealer in area can get them on the ground. Not everyone can afford them but I think that’s why others buy them.
Feel sorry for u lot in the USA with these dealership issues. We have no such issue in Europe, this will sell for around 50-65k which is a good price here
@@harrisr1018 I didn’t buy mine for that crazy price. People just need to research and look for other Dealers. You can find a Dealer outside the city that will most likely give you fair price to move the vehicle.
$95k after freight, PDI and taxes, but doesn't come with gas hood shocks. Okay...

It would be a beautiful truck with a V6 $90G out the door with a turbo 4 cyl. It wont last very long it revs higher and the pressure from the turbo! Not a change would I spend $90 G for a 4cyl

Where I live in MA, my nearest Toyota dealership is tacking on another $10K to the MSRP for a "screw over the customer" fee.

I noticed the fuel gauge read full (7:00) but the klm shows just 496klm to empty (?). If I've read these correctly, that's very poor fuel economy for the latest hybrid toyota 4wd offering.
I don't think this is accurate. It hasnt been driven for more than 12 km, most likely in short distance with a lot of stop and go, traffic, etc, which will consume more fuel and give a false estimate. Also, the vehicle has not gotten through a break in period which should also optimize performance and does not have enough driving history to determine the actual mileage you will get. I would point to other people's reported data that have it closer to 600 km
If it had a traditional powertrain that made this kind of power, then the fuel economy in the new model would be very good by comparison.

17 gallon fuel tank. About 25% smaller than current 4Runner
@@rickyaz8640 True, although LC has an 18 gallon capacity at 23 mpg combined, while 4runner has a 23 gallon capacity at 17.5 mpg combined. If you do the math, the LC will give you 414 miles ona full tank while the 4runner does 402. Granted, LC needs Premium gas

7:25 - I really like how Toyota still has a shift knob like this where you can go into M mode. How do you let Toyota know that this is a feature we like and that they should keep this?
Also, can Toyota please do something about built in dashcams like TeslaCam? Why don't cars have built-in Dash Cams yet, when Tesla is so successful with it.

thanks for the review, i am jus a bit puzzled with the height, i am 6'4 and tried it, and my head had only a but two fingers from hitting the ceiling.
so basically those two inches equal to 5 cms, which reduces the head space.

$69k us$. Fully equiped mid model with square headlights. Ill say - starting to seem like the most practical decision i made for quite a while. Deciding on a used g63 or defender 90.
Waited 28yrs for the 300series. Not coming to the USA and would be iver my budget. Driven 700miles in 12 days. Growing on me - to be used as my daily driver. Still have my 94 80series used for 10 yrs - passed over to my wife and now my son. 28 yrs and >350k miles sinc odometer broke 10 yrs ago
He still has his 2004 tj rubicon - that he chooses to get rid of.(any one interested?).
I dont think there is a better choice out there within my budget. Doesnt disappoint in power and drivability. Hoping this prado/LC would be a keeper….

They say its the most reliable vehicle in the world and can go from the arctic, Sahara, Australian outback and Antartica with little to no maintenance at all. And is guaranteed to bring you back home. They say that the Tahara and Hino factory designed these to have 20 years severe service life span with minimal to zero maintenance.

Toyota took the wrong direction on this. Ironically they had many options and overlooked them. On top of that until they rein in their franchises, this will not float. BTW, I'm a (8) time owner since 1977. First vehicle was a REAL Land Cruiser.

Lol Toyota took the true Land Cruiser (LC 200) from the market and instead of giving LC 300, they gave a Prado with 4 cylinders as LC. As a cherry on top, they are charging the same amount for a fully loaded Prado as they were doing the with actual Land Cruiser.
That's a Toyota Landcruiser Prado where i come from, very popular with Women and soccer mum's. The current full size Landcruiser is the LC300 and the previous and last of the TRUE Landcruisers were the diesel 4.6L V8 LC200.

test drove it, and was dissapointed. not a replacement for mu gx460 comfort or drive experience wise. let alone it costs almost twice the price of Lexus.
