My 4runner came out of that plant 26 years ago, imagine how different it was back then. Hard to imagine at one point it was a pristine modern vehicle...
The Land Cruiser 70 is 100% handcrafted because demand is high enough to produce it, but not high enough to automate the production. 70 serie is a niche product!
Love my 17’ prado 150. Only point of improvement: shortly after delivery in winter chassis already started to develop corrosion on the chassis welds! ( live in a area where roads are salty in winters). However my old 2001 range rover chassis did look perfect after 15 years…
Doing it manually will give u early detection when something is wrong furthermore though machine is consistent it cantmake adjustment as and when needed
Yes, you could say the same for Rolls-Royce & Bentley where a lot of the work is done by hand... even the grill on a Rolls is filed by hand... by skilled craftsmen with many years of experience doesn't instill much confidence at all. The same could be said of Toyota's 'takumi' ( or master craftsmen ). You might want to have a word with their engineers and takumi with many years of experience on top of Toyota's track record. Tesla at one point attempted full on automation and was a ludicrous success at failing in it.
@@Sixty2OneThirty This is the funniest thing I've read in the last week. I'd be happier if my daughter brought home a crackhead fiance than if she told me she bought a Chrysler vehicle. The crackhead would be less trouble in the long run.
I will be going with Lexus GX550. for my retirement. I thought about doing it this year but hearing the problems they had with that V-6. I thought I'll wait until 2025 ones comes out. Toyota said they didn't have any problems with the GX engines and it just maybe so. So far I haven't heard of any GX cars having the engine problems like the Tundra did. I like to travel around the Western Region of the US. Up and down the West Coast.
Very interesting, notably no description of rthe chassis manufacture and painting, sadly chassis corrosion is the number one killer of large Toyota 4x4s in cold countries where raod salt is used if the chassis wre galvanised you really could buy one in your twenties and never need to buy another car no matter where you lived. I've owned Toyota 4x4's since the early 90's, never has one let me down.
I would like to also add that there is no proper plastic wheel arch liner fitted to protect the chassis rails and inner front wings a total let down for fans in the colder climate countries

I love Toyota. In India their Crysta Innova and Fortuner are probably the best product they have given us.
But they are made in India and Thailand respectively…not Japan.

More like overpriced overrated under equipped crap
And there is so much more detail they could have included here! But all the same, I'm so proud to own a 150 Land Cruiser Prado! I continue to be surprised at its off road capability (in Australian conditions), reliability, and the quality and durability of the paint! Also - it is just such a beautifully designed car! Since owning this car, my first Land Cruiser, I can't imagine buying any other car that a Toyota Landcruiser. But I might just keep the one I have for a few more years yet. I just love it so much!
I had no idea there were still split rims used on vehicles in this day and age?! My two 4Runners as well as my 78 and 83 Pick ups are the best built vehicles I have ever had and still driving my 83 today!
Split rim ones often go to New Guinea
The Toyota automobile company is unique and excellent in the world in all aspects that can be considered for automobile manufacturing; not only Toyota, but also Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Suzuki, Subaru, Honda, Daihatsu, Isuzu, all of them are unique, professional, and unique 🇯🇵
How can you be conscientious enough to make a device that first does not break down and secondly be like a caring mother to the customer? Hello to Japanese culture
Awesome work.
You could see the discipline in their works.
The 70 series are the worlds best cars. I bought my HZJ78 brand new in 2000 and it still bring me where i want. No ABS, no airbags no electronic tralala, just a reliable 4x4 workhorse and a pleasure to drive. I won't even swap my 78 for a new 4x4 from an other brand.
Aah i wish this video never ended top notch from Toyota. love you Toyota for still producing LC70 the best LC the World has ever had.
Лучшая компания! Лучшие авто! Спасибо!
It's mind-blowing to watch the most admired and favored car in the Pacific is crafted through various procedures to reach perfection. It's crazy overwhelming to discover its production is automated and manually done to ensure the best quality outcome is achieved. LC is the hallmark of the Japanese car production industry.
Very proud of Japanies technology ❤.i wish my country have one of this factory or production like this.
Proud to be having my Toyota land cruiser Prado came out of this automobile factory ❤
Тут огромный труд, спасибо Японцам за такой огромную работу
I've bought mine in 2012, was used 2 years, it keeps the same value today!
I love Toyota with a car from Toyota ❤🇯🇵🇸🇦
I was issued with two brand new Toyota Diesel V8 Land Cruisers by my employer, which over a period. I had the pleasure of running them in. Beautiful vehicle to drive. I wish I could have afforded one.
I am from Afghanistan And I am a fan of Toyota. I chose Toyota among the cars in the world Long live Japan with Land Cruiser 🇦🇫♥♥♥♥♥🇯🇵🇯🇵

The greatest car of all time....don't argue with me
BIG IN JAPAN👍краски не жалейте🤘
Let's be honest, we're all here to see where the bulletproofing sorcery is conducted to make these nigh indestructible beauties what they are. LOVE THE LAND CRUISER IN ANY FORM (except the FJ - sorry, not sorry)😁😁
Удивлён что многое делается вручную, в том числе и покраска..
ручная работа
I have driven different SUVs.
My Land Cruiser is somehow my favorite...
There's something in it that I love so much
Realy I like this factory so much
Excellent quality assurance! This is why they make some of the best cars and trucks in the world. Great video!
Great and appreciate able. MashaAllah. Honourable and respectful Japanese Nation in world.
My 2007 lexus gx470 is 250k miles still looks luxurious, Japanese cars are built to last for long and less trouble.
You are a very good TH-camr.
This is amazing good job
I am proud that my Prado VX came out of this factory, now enjoying in Costa Rica!
I'm actually in my third 4runner SR5, great machines in all categories...
Toyota is one of the wonders of the world.
I ❤ their uniform Lexus, Hino etc.👍
60,000 Part Suppliers ... meaning over 60,000 parts... is no joke. Great Work.

It's such amazing and detailed
My 4runner came out of that plant 26 years ago, imagine how different it was back then. Hard to imagine at one point it was a pristine modern vehicle...
Thanks, nice video
My opinion is Japan designs and builds vehicles that generally outlast all other competition. Toyota.!!!
Pround owner of Lx470❤
I'm proud that Allah made the Japanese people.
I love japan country Japanese cars world best cars ❤❤❤
I haven't seen this much manual welding in a usa plant since the late 1980's. I don't know how Japan is keeping things consistent this way.
The design and methods of manufacturing Land Cruisers haven't changed much since the 80's.
By not employing fat, lazy, blue haired diverstiy hire workers as we do here in the US thanks to UAW.
The Land Cruiser 70 is 100% handcrafted because demand is high enough to produce it, but not high enough to automate the production. 70 serie is a niche product!
I was extremely surprised to see how much of these vehicles is still assembled by hand. It obviously makes a difference in the final product.
Love my 17’ prado 150. Only point of improvement: shortly after delivery in winter chassis already started to develop corrosion on the chassis welds! ( live in a area where roads are salty in winters). However my old 2001 range rover chassis did look perfect after 15 years…
Seeing these things still mostly manually produced doesn't exactly give confidence, while the robotic roles are considered 'consistent'.
This is awesome! I now know what SUV to get for my retirement and cruise in the countryside for adventure. Thanks for the upload.
Showw...ótimo veiculo recomendo
This is where the magic comes together. What a company!
I drive my Toyota HZJ80 Series Landcruiser every day. Production date 1997. Not a speck of rust and an absolute pleasure to drive. Oh! what a feeling.
Очень интересное 📹 👍
toyota the best, they make them with passion, stay blessed.
