I feel like as gamer we accept that exclusive games are just good for us, but I am not sure they really are. So lets discuss this without all of the console war drama
"I feel like as gamer we accept that exclusive games are just good for us" yeah, no, most gamers don't accept that they accept it as a thing that exists, and there isn't much we can do about it, but not as a good thing
Honestly this last week has made me question that. The number of people I have argued with who advocate for this. The complete meltdown at the idea of Xbox going multiplatform. Maybe it’s just the loudest, but its defenders are easy to find
I primarily play pc but i also got an xbox and nintendo switch i like games from Microsoft and Nintendo and sony also its crazy to think i can play god of war on the go because of my steam deck which is crazy also games get cheapers over time when their not exclusives rather when they are exclusive. The mobile market and pc market has a wider audience than consoles
They are good for business but are they good for us? That is my point here, we just accept that it is how the industry works as if there are not third party publishers out there that don't engage in this behavior doing just fine.

Exclusives have been here since the 1980s Nintendo Entertainment System and they are good for business.
