As a practitioner related to a brand of Chinese third-party handles, I can tell you responsibly that this design drawing is in the early stage. There will most likely be some minor adjustments in the design later, but the final actual picture will basically not be much different.
The MAIN reason I don't carry a switch with me is because of joy con drift. Fix the drift and I'll be way more excited about the handheld capabilities.
it looks almost like the joy cons click in and out rather than slide down into the system, I can picture a trigger mechanism that extends out the connection port into the side female port on the joy cons allowing for even more HD rumble effects? the connector might be for additional data required for such feature.
I'm still really happy with my current Switch. We have a problem that we think we always need something new, similar to new phones every year. At the end of the day, it's about the quality of the games and I think we'd all agree that Nintendo is leading in thay.
I'm sure it will be great and I understand why they did this; but every other new Nintendo console has always been so exciting because it was so different from the last one.
I remember people made this same mistake with the Wii U, thinking it was only as powerful as the PS3 or even slightly less and boi were they very wrong. The newer features and smarter design had the Wii U have so much more power that PS3 ports were getting visual upgrades
Cartridge slot? 🤦 Dunno why that's one of the things that first come to mind for some people. Why not connectors for the main unit and that circular jack-thingy is a charging slot? Nobody thought that was a real picture... Only RGT is thinking people don't notice this 😂
The slot on the joycon is probably where the light will go
John from Spawnwave is one of the most technical guys on the tube of you he says the joycons will have guide post magnets.
Just a friendly FYI: 4 Super Nintendo titles released on Nintendo Switch Online. I’d love to hear your take on them!
The one time it’s not clickbait people gonna think it’s clickbait 😂
it looks almost like the joy cons click in and out rather than slide down into the system, I can picture a trigger mechanism that extends out the connection port into the side female port on the joy cons allowing for even more HD rumble effects? the connector might be for additional data required for such feature.
The things on the left joycon rail might be the way it locks into place. The switch console itself has protruding connections.
I just hope that they fixed the stick drift issues. No doubt these new joycons will cost $80-$90.
That hole in the joy cons I'd guess it's for LEDs... Looks like there isn't too much electronics in those cases... So maybe.......
I'm still really happy with my current Switch. We have a problem that we think we always need something new, similar to new phones every year.
At the end of the day, it's about the quality of the games and I think we'd all agree that Nintendo is leading in thay.
Let's just hope its backwards compatible
That's the right joycon btw
I'm sure it will be great and I understand why they did this; but every other new Nintendo console has always been so exciting because it was so different from the last one.
the slot on the joycon is for it to communicate with the system. the magnets cant be used to communicate so thats what the slot is for
im happy cuz they kept with single screen not duel screen like rumors said
RgT Prime. All Switch 2 vids from now on
Those wider more comfortable side buttons make sense
If this is legit ill be super happy!! This will be a rare time people wont complain that its just an upgrade in power.
I think you may or may not have said something something “when there is smoke there is fire”…
I remember people made this same mistake with the Wii U, thinking it was only as powerful as the PS3 or even slightly less and boi were they very wrong.
The newer features and smarter design had the Wii U have so much more power that PS3 ports were getting visual upgrades
The cartridge slot is on the Joycons
RGT85 logic
The pins on the joycons are how it connects to the system for charging
Cartridge slot? 🤦
Dunno why that's one of the things that first come to mind for some people. Why not connectors for the main unit and that circular jack-thingy is a charging slot?
You can even easily tell that the circuitry is not properly screwed in place.
It does resemble a cartridge slot now that yoh mention it but never did it occur to me.
it looks more like a connection point between the console & joy-con not a cartridge slot which would be weird, lol
This channel has turned into Nintendo switch 2 speculation vids / sponsorships
My homie from year 2045 said that the Switch 2 doesn't release until 2026 😢
Wrong the switch2release year of march2025
No normal size D pad is trash...
