It isnt fine at all, not just the exclusives but 3rd party game like hogwarts legacy, wolong, latest games, etc barely runs well on last gen. The graphic sucks, 20-30fps.
I said fuck the ps5 and got a pc and still use my ps4 pro for ps exclusive the ps5 is not a major upgrade from the ps4 pro I have a good 8k tv so the ps4 pro show good to me and some game can go up to 60fps just depends on you’re setup
Been playing cod on my ps4 since 2017. Just got my ps5 last week. It’s a pretty noticeable difference. I love how everything looks and feels in game. Definitely worth the upgrade.
I sold my original Xbox One and got a ps4 and an Xbox series x. I like both a lot but I also own a PC so it wasn't a "huge" jump in performance and graphics but I think the new consoles are really great bang-for-buck systems at the moment. I'm selling my series x and I'm just going to keep my ps4 and PC and gonna try and get an Xbox One X instead I barely play games anymore
But I paid $300 for a series x with 2 controllers and Valhalla relisted it for $400 so might as well spend that $100 on an Xbox one x. Where I live the consoles are cheap lol
What about TV? I am currently having ps4 slim and 1080p 60hz SAMSUNG LED TV. I want to buy PS5 but one thing that is worrying me is my TV. How it feels to play PS5 on 1080p 60hz TV? Will I get that wow moment, will games like Elden Ring, RDR2, Uncharted 4, LOU 2 look absolutely stunning etc and also what my FPS will be? Can I be assured to have 60 fps and get gorgeous gaming experience? 4k TV is unfortunately not in my budget range now so please can you answer me. Ideally the guys who are having same setup, PS5 + 1080p 60hz TV😢???
@@antonitobendrito2243well i got a 50hz 4k hdr tv and upgrade it from a ps4 pro. Raytracing and loading times are a real big deal, also you get more stable fps and loading times for ps4 games that are not optimised for ps5. So you will get faster loading times and stable fps for like RDR2, but you get more FPS and raytracing if you buy a ps5 game. If i was you, just upgrade to ps5 and set the next expanse for buying a 50/100hz 4k tv.
I upgraded from the PS4 Pro to the PS5. The biggest difference is the Dual Sense controller. I don't regret the upgrade. The PS5 is MUCH quieter and there is no loading wait time on any of the games. I can also enjoy PS5 exclusives. Once the initial cost is paid for the PS5, it does EVERYTHING better or at least as good as the PS4 Pro.
I stopped playing games when I was about 13 I’m 30 now about 8 months ago someone gave me a ps4 for collateral and ended up having to keep it. I was instantly hooked on it but I knew I was a generation behind so two months in I went and got a ps5 then 2 months later I went and got a switch been playing games everyday for 8 months..now that I got a wife and kids and my hormones and chill I just want to nerd out on games
Man you are legend there is no age limit to play games!! All it matters is how happy you are when playing it!! I too play games but on pc i don't know I just don't like playing on controller and i can tweak some graphics in pc!!
The Pro with an SSD is still a great console. I love my PS5 but I'm really just waiting for devs to stop making games for last gen as it's severely limiting what can be done with modern titles. It may look nice and crisp at 60 frames on PS5 but it's still a game made around PS4 and in some cases original Xbox One hardware which honestly blows.
Most of the slower interface of PS4 Pro can be fixed by replacing the internal HDD for an SSD. System startup, navigation and game loading times gets faster. Even the jet engine sound (like the Red Dead 2 rocket launch) decreases a lot.
You just need to clean it every once and a while and add a new thermal paste to the CPU. I own the original Oct 2014 ps4 and it sounds as silent as my Series X. There's a clamp that pushes down on the CPU on the ps4 if you bend it a little more it will help cool the CPU more as over time mine went a bit flat mines run in like the day they came out even in the new warzone. Beforehand it was as loud as a leaf blower lol.
Damn that’s a good point but I been on ps4 since launch back in the day lol Christmas is coming up and my family are getting me a ps5 … so I guess I’ll just have the original ps5 but I ain’t sure when you pro comes out
@@jordanmarazzi - nothing wrong with a base PS5, especially as a gift. The Pro is rumoured to be due for release late next year, so you could get a few years out of your PS5 before upgrading to the Pro, that’s even if you felt the need to.
@@Daveyengland yeah you right bro , it’s better then my loud and old ps4 pro so I still looking forward to it but my monitor sucks so I won’t get the full experience but at least I got a ps5
I bought a mint condition 2019 glacier white ps4 pro model in 2022, and I'm very happy. I'll be moving to the PS5 when the Pro model is released. On the plus side, all of the ps5 exclusives that I really want to play will be many in number, cheap and / or free. 😄
@kabafx1394 Not for $800+ for a complete console. 💀 I'm building a PC instead, and I get the final two parts this month. $1000 total, and it will smoke the PS5 Pro. My CPU alone has 49% better performance than the PS5 Pro. 😂
I have and love my Pro. That being said, I just got a PS5 after seeing friends use theirs. Loading times, alone, make the jump worth it. Throw in most games running at double the fps and double the resolution. It's a huge jump.
I have weird feelings about the newest generation. My thought is it'll be 100% worth it once they stop making PS5 titles with a PS4 version. You could get by until then. However it you want the buttery smooth 4K/120 awesomeness it's definitely worth it. I went from PS4 to Series X. I picked the X because I love backwards compatibility. I'm not against buying a PS5 once they stop making games for the PS4.
I just got my PS5 yesterday and I’m so happy I finally made the jump, coming from an original launch spec PS4. Theoretically many of these titles are still playable on PS4, but the experience is 1000x better on PS5. Added bonus is that I can take advantage of PS4 pro enhancements for many of my existing games, which I never had access to previously. So even games from 7 years ago are completely different on PS5 now compared to my previous experience.
When talking about technology, there's a concept called "the killer app". Basically, it's that piece of software that makes buying hardware worthwhile. Even 2 years after its release, the PS5 still doesn't have that killer app. It has games and it has exclusives, but they are still being developed for the PS4. The PS5 has such a small install base, developers aren't making games that utilize the PS5's hardware. Instead, they are developing for the PS4 and porting to the PS5.
In my opinion the ps5 is much better in performance interface and usability compared to the ps4 pro but in the 2 years the ps5 has been out, I wouldn’t have recommended getting one until now. All the features like media content, games and game recording can all be done on the ps4 and the game catalog you can get on both consoles, there wasn’t really enough games at launch to justify getting a ps5 straight away. Iv had mine since release but iv only had about 6-7 ps5 games in that time and half of them were just upgrades of ps4 games and not exclusive games.
I truly don't feel like i'm missing anything with my ps4 pro, it has a plethora of games and titles. When I got my ps4, i stopped playing my ps3. Even though I had over 100 games I hadn't yet played, something about playing the newer gen made me not want to play the ps3 any more . I feel like the same thing will happen if I play Ps5, my mind wants the ps5 because now it's in stock and everyone has it. But in my heart I know now is not the time to upgrade. Why? Because there are 100's of ps4 games I've yet to enjoy ( at very reasonable prices ) and where is the ps5 going anyways? its always gonna be here so what's the rush? Great video btw, love my ps4. I have 3 actually, ps4 day 1, ps4 pro, ps4 500 million edition.
Bro can i have your ps4 after youre done playing with it and decide to go with ps5, my last console was ps3 and it had ylod on it so i miss playing playstation at home.
I got a ps5 and plan to buy used bargain bin ps4 cd games for years to come. Sony made 3,454 ps4 cd games and they all find their way into the used games bargain bin at some time .
@@naseemspeach I was wondering if you would consider doing more gaming console related videos? It seems those are alot more popular as fans enjoy watching them including myself. Or do you only have a ps4 & ps5 if so that's totally okay!!!! I love your content btw 👍👍 you seem super chill and know your stuff.
One thing I wanted to mention that isn't talked about much is to lock the console to 1080p at the system level. The Pro handles it's power differently than the One X so when you lock the Pro to 1080 it frees up it's additional power as opposed to using it for all the checkerboarding and 1440 weirdness. The end result is a 1080p beast. Games run well and look terrific. For me there just isn't any titles yet on the PS5 that makes me want one, for now the Pro is fine.
I have a gaming PC with a 1650 Super GPU and the difference between 1080p and 1440p is huge. Whether it's worth it on the PS4 Pro or not I wouldn't know. At this point I refuse to play anything at 1080p, except for BFV because my GPU can't handle higher res.
@@Generationalwealth94 The PS4 pro isn't a PC. It can't really do 4k. It does checkerboarding trickery. That overhead affects performance. Some games will drop under 30fps. So when you lock it at 1080p you avoid all of that. I have a PC as well, honestly on a TV 10ft away 1080p is fine. 1440p is better of course but not really that noticeable unless the monitor is on your desk.
Just got the PS5 today and so far what I've noticed is the faster menu response on FIFA 23 and way lower fan sound (which was driving me nuts). Thanks for sharing bro. Peace
Yo bro I have a question if I buy a ps5 and play next generation fifa and let’s say I change the pro club’s player will it change on the ps4? And when you play next generation pro clubs the ps4 can still play pro clubs? Can you play on the same account at the same time? Thanks
I bought a PS4 pro to play newer (2016-2023) games since I still played with my PS3 by the time the PS5 was announced. The only new games I bought were God of war Ragnarok and Resident Evil 4 remake. All the other games were used for $18 a game on average. I'd only consider buying the ps5 when the next god of war or last of us exclusive titles come out. That won't happen for years, so I'm chilling. Plus the design of the ps5 is not my tempo, especially with the model without the Blu Ray player.
I was exactly the same. I was still on my PS3 since 2018 and I wasn't even close to upgrading at all but then last year they announced that Hogwarts Legacy would also release for PS4. Originally I thought it would be just on PS5. The very next day I went and bought a PS4 pro and I just got my copy of Hogwarts Legacy on Friday. It's also the first time ever that I have ever bought a new game. Won't be upgrading beyond this anytime soon though. I'll see how the ps5 gen goes then maybe after the ps6 comes I will get a ps5 mostly for the inevitable sequel to Hogwarts Legacy
I have both a PS5 Slim, and Battlefront II Edition PS4 Pro with upgraded SSD. Love them both. (Also have a Series X and One X and a 2021 High End PC, I love them all.)
Hello how is the apps on the ps4 pro like netflix , disney + , hbo Max , amazon prime, youtube do they work all just fine and also does it stream in 4k for all the aps only very few ? or most ? thank you
@@Jefferson-kd6it hey sorry keep forgetting to respond, they seem to work just great for 4k, haven't had any issues with any app. I did cancel my netflix a couple years ago, so can't say how it is, but the rest work just fine
Hey so I'm looking to upgrade from the xbox one x to the ps4 pro but I was thinking if its really worth it to just budget up alittle and get the ps5 standard??
I have had a 2014 PS4 for years now and just recently (today) upgraded to the PS5!!! Your video has helped a lot with it right out the box. Much appreciated and well said 👍💯
What saddens me is that there are many ps5 titles that actually qualifies for the ps4 pro (not the standard), but yet they choose not to release them to it. You can argue about this being another sales tactic of the ps5.
i feel that 100% because i was hoping to get a few more years out of my pro but it seems we're at the point where i'm going to have to upgrade if i want to keep up with new game releases.
My ps5 was my first PlayStation, I was thinking about buying a PS4 instead because it would be a lot cheaper but then I realized within a year or two, the PS4 wouldn't be getting any new games. So that's the main reason I chose a ps5
I really recommend upgrading the PS4 Pro HDD with an SSD!! much faster loading times, almost as fast as PS5. From my experience maintaining dozens of PS4s, old HDDs also will wear out over time. HDD and disc drive and only parts that really break down over the years. Also, get your old thermal paste and -pads replaced! Your old console becomes silent again, just like new
Hey! I’ve never had a PlayStation before, and right now it’s easier for me to afford the PS4 Pro.. do load times really matter? Do I have to buy an SSD, how much difference does it make :)
The 5 is greater but the 4 is holding the 5 back. Had the 5 since launch and wasn’t that bad since it was new but games are still being supported for the 4. And I know post pandemic it was hard to get a 5 but now no excuse. Games could be better if they didn’t have to make the games w 4 in mind
Got a ps4 pro 6 months ago because all I’ve ever had is Xbox, wanted to get my hands on the exclusives. Now that I’ve played all that I can on ps4 I just ordered a ps5 finally so I can play the rest of the exclusives 😅 gonna be playing demons souls remake this weekend 🤙🤙great video btw
Regarding the optics, I say that the piano varnish part in the middle was a mistake. I was hoping that Sony had learned from this that piano varnish is not suitable for game consoles. The PS3 Slim didn't have one and was much better because of it. now we went back to it. And lo and behold there are scratches even though I take extremely good care of my consoles. Why wasn't the part made matt or rough like the side parts? What's also bad is that there is nothing on the console that is reminiscent of Sony or Playstation. The strange print on the back corner of the plate is a joke and you don't usually see it. The side parts have very small PlayStation button symbols, which is cool but you can't see them at all. They have also said goodbye to the 4 iconic colors. It's sad that the consoles are saying goodbye to their colors in order to appear more "mature" and "noble". I just think it's cheap and is more of a cost saver. What's particularly bad is the PS5's menu. It's just way worse than the PS4. There's no way to get to the PS3 menu anyway. What's also missing is that you can't check the games for updates like you can with the PS4. I often push the disk in and want to start and suddenly it loads an update and even though I have the option in there, it should always keep the games up to date. On the PS4 you could go to the game icon and press check update and it checks and loads the update regardless of whether the disk is in it or not. There was also the option that you could show information about what the update caused. completely missing from the ps5. You can now google again, like you did with the PS3, what it actually achieved. I don't understand the regression. Why don't you just take it over from the next generation and just expand on it or add something new? especially when you know you have something good and you still walk away from it. As Doug once said, everyone loved Coke and then they thought we'd bring out the new Coke and everyone hated it,
Honestly the speed of the interface and loading times are the one thing I thought wont be a big deal but oh it turned out to be the main thing I enjoy about the ps5 besides the Dualsense, I cannot go back to the ps4, even games like Deadfire that were unplayable with 2 min long loading screens betweens maps are now less than 30 seconds, and you usually go through 5 of those in 1 hour so imagine playing 1 hour in ps4 and 10 minutes of those were loading screens while it was just 2 minutes on ps5
I think they should have a contest for which aesthetic design is the most popular, and then fit it in! Modern technology - Make it work. Blind people I'm sure don't give a shit but a console should be artistically created so that it looks good or can be aforably modified to look stylish with any room. Not a giant ice cream sandwich. Omgosh
If we were seeing the trend, every even number on PS is the best PS series because the differences is massive with the older gen and not much with the next gen, like PS1 vs PS2; PS2 vs PS3; PS3 vs PS4; and now PS4 vs PS5 that's the only reason i keep my PS4 pro and wait for PS6😅
Nice music choices. First time on the channel and that hit me in a positive way right away. I don't have either console and thinking of a ps4, ps5 or a Switch
Well I have both the ps4 pro & ps5 and honestly they are both great consoles but I like more ps4 games so therefore I prefer my ps4 pro a bit more. Of course I can play my ps4 on the ps5 but it doesn’t really changes a lot tbh. PS4 overall has more games
I’m not a hard core gamer. I have a PS4, and wanted to upgrade. After talking to friends and watching a lot of video reviews for PS5, Xbox series, Switch, and Oculus. I decided on the PS5. Your video made the differenc.
Given all the options for playing video games, $499 for a PS5 seems like a poor value. I would maybe consider it at $349 (maybe…). It really needs to be $299 for everyone to get on board. Since improvements in graphics performance are incremental at this point, there needs to be more innovation in other areas. There’s no incentive to pay $500 for a few more pixels!!
i just bought a ps4 in 2023 because my old one broke. ps4 is still a good console. it has everything i need. i still play my ps3 and have no problems. playstion 3 & 4 have a lot of cool games you can try to play and collect as much games as you want.
Buying PS4 Pro like.. right now??? is WASTEFUL .. and im dead serious .. Unless you're someone who doesn't care about future games that will be released - those who said its not worth to upgrade , you'll be one of those who does not care what's up ahead
@@arinkarwan5888 if they can't afford PS5 , they should use their brain , not wasting money on a 10 Years Old Console which already aged , collect money and buy PS5 instead
@@kyosukeshidou1370 I'd rather buy a steam deck than a ps5 if u travel, but if u don't travel much ps5 is better, so uh never mind, you're right, u should just save up
I still play with the original ps4 console. It’s still amazing and enjoyable. Maybe I’ll get a ps5 after ps6 release and might as well get ps6 altogether.
I still have my PS4 pro and its still an amazing console. Every now and then I contemplate getting a PS5 but for me at the moment I don't see many differences. One day I'll make the change, but for now it's PS4 pro 💪🏻
PS4 PRO - Sounds like a jet engine - Runs 30 fps or less - Takes 1+ minute to load games - 7 years old PS5 - Very quiet - Sleek - 60+ fps - USB C - True 4K - Higher fidelity - Super fast loads - Sleek UI - Beautiful controller - True next gen games Xbox Series X - Trash
@Liam Ray I have cleaned the dust, with a can of air spray and duster. However, this thing still sounds like a mighty jet engine, lol. Even when not playing, the engines are still working terribly hard, and it's so frustrating. 60fps is doable but not stable and not for every title. Load times are horrendous and true 4K must be for the very least demanding titles or with dynamic resolution as Digital Foundry rarely ever reported on true 4K for PRO titles. I'll stick to my fast and quiet PS5, thanks.
Wait for the next year or two of that thermal paste will dry up quick it happens to mine and kept put new paste and thermal pads and still ass for noise and don’t get me started with the clean fans I did that too😂I’m glad the ps5 is backwards compatible because the ps4 is pointless and useless
The bottom line for me is, Is the PS5 worth 500.00 right now? For me the answer is No. There just aren’t enough good games to warrant the price tag. The PS4 on the other hand offers a great value for a great library of games.
It’s all about the game I don’t care about the graphics If i can play in my ps4 That’s enough Wait until more and more game only for ps5 then it worth it
Really looking into getting a ps5 for Spider-Man 2 and Starwars games. I haven’t played games in a decade. Since my Xbox one. Just not sure how long it will last till I get tired of playing.
I have the ps5 disc I’ve recently upgraded from the ps4 slim and for me its well worth it as games are starting to come out now on ps5 only and i think its the best way moving forward
People buy ps5 right now play ps4 games looks and feel better than the pro. Eventually sony going to stop making ps5 backwards compatible and next gen games will only be made for the 5. You have to remember most games for the ps5 is cross platform and the main titles is on both due to ps4 retirement
Decided to sell my ps5 because all the games I play are also available on ps4. My ps4 has 4TB, has a real internet browser, the menus are much easier to navigate. And the dual sense controllers were more annoying than helpful, first time I played MW2 I thought my controller was broken because of how stiff the trigger was for shooting. Mic on the controller does nothing to me since I use a wireless headset.
I'm about to buy a used ps4 because of the high prices of the ps5. In Serbia, ps5 is about 850 dollars, depending on what comes with it , which is twice as much as in the USA. The price difference between 4 pro and 5 is 500 dollars and it's simply not worth paying that much.
For sure in that case. The Pro is even nicer if you swap out the Hard Drive for a SSD. Lots of people do it with the pro , then you get the ps5 fast load times.
Yall are sleeping on PS3. Since it is now "forgotten" imagine the homebrew and piracy u can imagine on that console...Install HEN and MMNC and u have everything u need to play any torrented and pirated games. Plus, every game on PS3 is completed, no need DLCs or wait for an update. All gamea have no bugs and glitches. Trust me, PS3 games and graphics aint that bad..
i have had the original 2013 ps4 for about 7 years now, to fix the jet engines simply renew the thermal on your cpu Note: dont forget to place back everything as it was, especially the thing that amplifies bluetooth connection (fixable if you forget it none the less)
I have an Xbox One, not a Series S or X, just the original Xbox One. I have no idea what to get. I haven't played on Console in a while and my friends all use PlayStation now instead of Xbox and I really only use it to spend gift cards on Fortnite vbucks lol. Thanks for the video though! I'm definitely more interested in the PS5 but don't have much money to just spend on a console and call it a day. PS4 Pro is good too, just not what I think I'll want for longevity.
Good video man :).. I sold my old 4Pro about 3 months ago, and made the crazy decision to move to a ONE X.. which was a mistake because I have an i7 / RTX gaming PC and xbox game pass is on PC, so Ive gone back to a PS4Pro.. I did seriously consider a PS5, but with terrible titles like RedFall, Gollum, Forespoken and not much else.. I decided to get another 4Pro as I have a few titles on my PSN account which I picked up in sales ... Why I went back to 4Pro.. It was only £160, compared to PS5 £480, Terrible PS5 only titles so far, 1TB of storage compared to 825GB, ... 99% of PS5 games are still appearing on PS4 as cross platform.. so devs are STILL releasing their PS4 versions (... maybe month or so later).. Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo 4, Assassins Creed... and the PS4Pro Still looks amazing on my 4k TV using an HDMI 2.1 cable and sounds good as well .. so for me at the moment.. PS5 just isnt worth the extra £320... the only thing that annoys me about Sony over MS.. is their damn expensive PSN plus costs, while you can pick an XBOX game pass code for £3 - £6 online.. heck you even get a free 1 month xbox pass code free with with anything from controllers to cables to Cornflakes .. I will definitely be buying a PS5 .. in 2024 ., but right now.. the PS5 only games are terrible, so I just dont see the point .. Peace all :)
I had my original PS4 since spring of 2015, it’s still fully functional as well, but the antilog controllers has it’s issues on the controllers over the years I have three controllers. I’m still keep playing PS4 till they stop making PS4 games.
Interesting because the PS3 had the background thing when choosing games but the PS4 didn’t. I have a PS5 but I’m gonna end up buying a PS4 pro because I miss that whole generation and there’s games that I still want to play and I got to have a copy of Driveclub, I am so impressed with that game
To many ps4 games with the free 4k/60fps patch for ps5 now (130 last count). Also new games like ff16 ,BDG3 and Allan Wake 2 not playable on a ps4 pro . When the $700 Ps5 pro comes out there will be many used $300 ps5 for sale . That's the best move .
These are my current modern consoles: Xbox Series X, original PS4, and original Nintendo Switch. I mainly game on my Series X because most of my library is on Xbox and gamepass is unbeatable imo. I use my PS4 that I bought used on FB for $150 for PS exclusives. Same for my Switch, but for Nintendo exclusives and a few games I wouldn't mind having on the go. I've considered upgrading my OG PS4 to the PS5, but it's just not worth it to me since I have the Series X for new gen games.
scratch or little bit dent u can use skin in your ps5 if they still run well because glossy very good for first when u buy and 4 month or 1 years scratch or dent can be come but still no regret upgrade to ps4 to ps5 this graphic are insane and ps5 noise very low
The ps4 pro now $165-300 so if you have around $500 go for the ps5 just save 200 more bucks but idk if u can't afford it stick to ps4 pro and wait for the ps5 slim
What game are you playing at 6:05 when you're talking about recording? Might sound like dumb question, but I'm a moderate Nintendo Switch player who has a PS4 Pro already, not familiar with enough games in playstation-world.
I brought a ps5, I'm loving it so far and I still have my PS4. In my opinion the PS5 is worth buying. They're slowly bringing out more games for the PS5.
Thanks! I bought some PS3 games recently and figured once I am done playing those, I'll buy a new console at the end of the year. Favourite games: TLAD, GTAV, L.A. Noire and RDR1. I think a PS4 will be enough for me. Is there any difference in multimedia options? I like my netflix and Spotify on PS3.
Devs are still holding onto last generation to long, it's time for the current one to actually wow us. Yes the ssd is blistering fast but honestly, ps4 is hanging in there way too hard! 3 years in and hardly any actual ps5 only games. Poor start to a generation.
gotta give devs a few years to adjust to creating games for a new machine. 2023 was stacked and the next few years are looking that way too so don't worry about it! i think too many people pulled the trigger early so that's why it's such a common complaint.
In my opinion... it's worth buying a PS5 when they will release the Pro Version, because many of the current games on PS5 are already available on last gen PS4, maybe with the PS5 Pro they will increase also the storage as well... 🤷🏻♂️☯️✌️
It's crazy that to a certain extent they are forcing us to upgrade. Even though there are no jaw dropping differences as say between the PS 1 and PS 2. These differences are huge on paper yet that fail on execution in reality because the games are not that much different especially on a 4 k television.
I have a PS4 (not pro) with a 2tb hard drive installed. I’m really on the fence about switching to the 5. I’ve never really been bothered by the 4’s load times or fan noise. Aside from those differences, it seems like the big thing I keep hearing about is ray tracing. I haven’t had it before, and haven’t missed it. Questioning why I’d spend the money on the 5. The majority of the folks are comparing the PS4 pro & the 5… is there really that big of a difference between a plain ol’ 4 and the 5 to warrant spending the $$. My wife has been suggesting the upgrade, but I can’t see spending the money when the 4 has been doing fine for me. Just not sure what to do!😂
i've had my pro for a few years now and it felt like a significant upgrade from the original model i bought around launch. i've been eyeing the 5 and will probably pull the trigger in the upcoming weeks so i'd imagine going from the base 4 to the 5 will feel insane. i think it's worth the price tbh since they have a "slim" model now and they usually get bundled with whatever the newest game is. it's getting to the point currently where not too many games are getting ps4 versions anymore like they were a few years ago.
@@treefiddytwooI understand, some PS5 games look exactly the same as PS4 games graphically. Some people still prefer the PS2 and 3 over the 4 and 5 to this day

The PS4 Pro is fine if you aren't interested in Spider-Man 2, FF16, Horizon DLC, FF:Rebirth other next gen upcoming releases. Otherwise it's fine.
I agree😄👍🏾
How are you not interested in those games?
It isnt fine at all, not just the exclusives but 3rd party game like hogwarts legacy, wolong, latest games, etc barely runs well on last gen. The graphic sucks, 20-30fps.

The difference in price is ridiculous in Nigeria.. I could get a PS4 pro + a good TV for the price of a PS5
Same with me., and the price is skyrocketing every day…
I upgraded from the PS4 Pro to the PS5.
Does it download games faster?
@@michaelkimball1948 not really any difference in download speed. They seem to install a bit quicker though.

Sounds like a decent outcome tbf
There’s nothing wrong with playing games at that age

OMG SAME here hahahaha
The Pro with an SSD is still a great console. I love my PS5 but I'm really just waiting for devs to stop making games for last gen as it's severely limiting what can be done with modern titles. It may look nice and crisp at 60 frames on PS5 but it's still a game made around PS4 and in some cases original Xbox One hardware which honestly blows.
If you can’t afford a ps5 just say that
Glad that Spiderman 2 is gonna be a ps5 exclusive. I ain't buying the game anytime soon but i am curious to see how they push the limits of thr PS5 😊

I even added a USB to USB-c port adapter so I can feel like I own a shitty ps5, no hate talking about my ps4.
Mines have 5 jet engines
I've got a 4pro and it's nothing like that.... super quiet 🤫 super fast and does boots up stating it's a ps5.... Which I find really interesting.

The PS4 Pro, especially with an SSD upgrade, is still a beast. I’m not upgrading to PS5 until the Pro version comes out.

Sell the ps4 to me. My son really need one but can't afford
Does the PS4 Pro only run at 30 fps?
I don't care about fps 😊
I have weird feelings about the newest generation. My thought is it'll be 100% worth it once they stop making PS5 titles with a PS4 version. You could get by until then. However it you want the buttery smooth 4K/120 awesomeness it's definitely worth it. I went from PS4 to Series X. I picked the X because I love backwards compatibility. I'm not against buying a PS5 once they stop making games for the PS4.
Yep and the reckoning for the ps4 starts with spider man 2
It ain’t nothing special about the series X it’s the same exact console as the other ones I can’t wait to trade my series X for a PS5 soon
I agree bro!
It kinda sucks I can’t play the new Jedi game on the PS4.
I thought both consoles have backwards compatibility no?
I just got my PS5 yesterday and I’m so happy I finally made the jump, coming from an original launch spec PS4. Theoretically many of these titles are still playable on PS4, but the experience is 1000x better on PS5. Added bonus is that I can take advantage of PS4 pro enhancements for many of my existing games, which I never had access to previously. So even games from 7 years ago are completely different on PS5 now compared to my previous experience.
Correct
What exactly is better in the actual game experience? I have a 1080p projector so not sure if I should pick a ps5 yet
Baulders gate 3 releases in August

@@uchihamadara1834Being a Spider-Man fan myself, I’m just saying that the game isn’t really for everyone.
Even if u set it to 1080p doesnt still render to 4K if your playing on a 4k tv?

I bought a PS4 pro to play newer (2016-2023) games since I still played with my PS3 by the time the PS5 was announced. The only new games I bought were God of war Ragnarok and Resident Evil 4 remake. All the other games were used for $18 a game on average. I'd only consider buying the ps5 when the next god of war or last of us exclusive titles come out. That won't happen for years, so I'm chilling. Plus the design of the ps5 is not my tempo, especially with the model without the Blu Ray player.
Glad you're still loving the PS4 🔥

I have had a 2014 PS4 for years now and just recently (today) upgraded to the PS5!!! Your video has helped a lot with it right out the box. Much appreciated and well said 👍💯
3 months later. What do you think?
What saddens me is that there are many ps5 titles that actually qualifies for the ps4 pro (not the standard), but yet they choose not to release them to it. You can argue about this being another sales tactic of the ps5.
i feel that 100% because i was hoping to get a few more years out of my pro but it seems we're at the point where i'm going to have to upgrade if i want to keep up with new game releases.
The ps4 pro is still good but it is held back by the hdd and ps4 slim
Best consoles that came out is the PS2 & PS4. PS3 was a huge waste. PS5.. no need to argue about it anymore 😄
Do I have to buy an SSD, how much difference does it make :)
wow! I am thinking about changing my console but I really have got to say i love this video, just subscribed!

Facts bro!
Yes.
Die in AC Valhalla or Odyssey and I can walk my dog while I wait to respawn on my ps4.
Now it takes 12 seconds.
I think the next gen consoles will play a bigger part by the end of this decade, it's too early to be judging them
I think they should have a contest for which aesthetic design is the most popular, and then fit it in!

Thanks for the video though! I'm definitely more interested in the PS5 but don't have much money to just spend on a console and call it a day. PS4 Pro is good too, just not what I think I'll want for longevity.
what did you end up getting??
The look has also grown on me for the ps5! The pro was also a good console 💯
I thought you can play Ps4 games on Ps5?
@@xXFUEGIxXyou can but I have the digital version so I can’t play Driveclub unless I buy a ps4 and install to my ps4 adding it to my library
I see@@theawardgoesto1
I wanna buy a PS5 but it is just so damn ugly. I'd have to change furniture just to figure out a way to hide it. PS4Pro looks great.
That is very true. and it feels good too.
i would actually prefer ps4 pro idk why
The difference with the ps4 pro vs ps5 is like Original xbox vs ps2.
Just coming back to see my old gameplay vs my new gameplay😂 . Miss my ps4 slim bro, shi broke so i upgraded 6 months ago
scratch or little bit dent u can use skin in your ps5 if they still run well because glossy very good for first when u buy and 4 month or 1 years scratch or dent can be come but still no regret upgrade to ps4 to ps5 this graphic are insane and ps5 noise very low
The ps4 pro now $165-300 so if you have around $500 go for the ps5 just save 200 more bucks but idk if u can't afford it stick to ps4 pro and wait for the ps5 slim
What game are you playing at 6:05 when you're talking about recording? Might sound like dumb question, but I'm a moderate Nintendo Switch player who has a PS4 Pro already, not familiar with enough games in playstation-world.
its rachet and clank , its a good series
I love your poster! 😊
thanks doc:)
@@naseemspeach You're very welcome, and great video!
I own a PS4 pro and a day 1 PS5 from preorder. They are both good consoles. But that PS5 hits different.
So basically there is no difference thanks I'll be sticking to my good old PS4 .
I have a PS5 and never had a PS4 but debating on getting one for my secondary setup to alleviate my PS5s storage
A additional internal 2TB ssd added to the Ps5 is cheaper than a ps4 console .
Playing ps4 games with slow load times suck .
Love your vids man
The memories are far more important than load times.
I’ll save my ps5 for when the ps4 inevitably dies.
I love my PS4 Pro.
I'm skipping the PS5. Looking forward to PS6 😎
You will win bro
Ps5 is garbage
@@mojtabat2001the hell it is.
Cool video, but I wish you wouldve gone over the technical differences as well
Sadly Ff7 rebirth does not support ps4 pro😢. Have to buy ps5.
