Pro is still worth getting even without a 4k tv. The game will run better and smoother. I play ffxiv a lot and it's end game content. having more frame rate made huge difference in my gameplay.
I’m hard wired into my router, but some folks don’t have that option.. but I find 2.4 GHz more reliable. Especially since the 5 GHz I heard has trouble going through thick walls.. or if your in a basement.. and router far away. A good place for a router is a central location in your home.. or… if you can hard wire into the router.. even better.. right now I have my gaming PC, PS4 Pro hardwired into my gaming router.

I would also argue that native 4K isn’t as important for the kind of experience that PlayStation 4 wants to give gamers. When you sit 10 feet away from your display, like most people do when they play consoles from a couch, the human eye struggles to see a difference between 1080p and 4K. It all starts to blur together when you observe it from far enough away. So instead of trying to quadruple the resolution, Sony is going to double or maybe triple it, and then it’s going to let algorithms and the shortcomings of 20/20 vision do the rest.
Deman Honestly most of this is true. All I say is the 1x honestly is damn impressive for price point and performance and that it WILL dominate the third party title market due to hardware and developer patches to unlock framerates and at least be able to push 1080p and 60fps on everything.

I didn't know my barely used VITA could be used with the PS4 or I could remote play PS4 games on my PC. Very cool stuff. The SSD is not 3x faster though. Something in the PS4 setup holds the SSD back from full potential. Still a nice upgrade if you can get a good deal on a 250gb +. I might snag a 250 if I can find a good brand for around $40-50.

I am sitting tight with my PS4 Pro while I wait patiently for a PS5. I have had my Pro for about 2 years. Upgraded from the base PS4 after getting my first 4k TV. I have not put an SSD in it, but it still runs PS4 games like a champ! I am looking forward to a PS5, but having the Pro makes the wait less anxious. I bought PS4 pro for it's upscalling to 4K and it's quiet functioning. It remains silent mostly. Oh. And there is slight improvement in PS4 titles and exclusives though barely noticeable unless it's a 4k screen.
1 dude, 1 couple. its not about the speed or usage if that's your question. PS4 pro are able to use "5G" instead "2.4G" which is really a lot faster i don't know why. I keep d/c with 2.4G. However graphics only better with some game, such as Paragon. most of them i don't really notice any difference unless you study them frame by frame. lol
Chihan Lee 5G WiFi isn't actually faster, just doesn't get as much interference. This is great if you life in a hotel or dorm where there's likely to be interference but otherwise it's not faster
2.4 GHz WiFi is faster in a lot of situations, depending where your router is positioned and how many walls are between your PS4 and the router. 2.4 GHz waves go more easily through walls and objects in general.

Actually I do own a PS4 Pro, but this video gave me a lot of useful information some of the tips I've already knew and some I didn't. What you missed is the PS4 Pro boost mode, but anyways your video was awesome and helpful, thanks.
Angel Lozano Boost mode is a new mode, you can find it in the settings in any PS4 console but it only works on the PS4 Pro console. But you can enable RGB for enhanced graphics.
Ramiz Mohammed rgb have nothing to do with the graphics it's enchanted or if you prefer better colors but your TV must support it if your TV it don't support it in full range it makes your colours look awful. The boost mode is only a ps4 pro setting it unlocks some hardware power for smoother gameplay that works only in older titles that are not optimised for the ps4 pro version the newer titles are already optimised for it and they are also recognise that the ps4 that you are using is a ps4 pro version. I hope I helped.

Don't need a special dongle for wireless controller support on pc, the controller uses Bluetooth and once you hold down the share button and ps button the controller will be avaliable to connect to from any Bluetooth device

WiFi speeds (even at 2.4 Ghz) is much faster than almost anyone's wifi, so the bump in potential speeds by going to 5Ghz is only useful if many people are on the same connection.

You can upgrade your PS3 HDD to SSD, so that's nothing new - but it speeds up your ps3/ps4/ps4pro drastically. Hint: If you have jailbreaked your PS3 you have to find the exact same firmware for the upgrade to the SSD to work, else an ERROR occures.

Ironically there's only 1 game on that list which is unplayable on PC and that's Horizon Zero Dawn. Every other game you mentioned can be played through emulators with even higher quality graphics than the original console. The ONLY place you can play the likes of Burnout 3 and the Metroid Prime Trilogy in true HD or even 4K+ with any controller you wish, is on the PC platform. :) All that without mentioning the likes of Super Mario Galaxy where same applies and 60 fps throughout too I may add.

They added 1 gb of extra DDR3 ram to make the menus fast and smooth and accomodate dynamic themes!

Actually I do own a PS4 Pro, but this video gave me a lot of useful information some of the tips I've already knew and some I didn't. What you missed is the PS4 Pro boost mode, but anyways your video was awesome and helpful, thanks.

Angel Lozano Boost mode is a new mode, you can find it in the settings in any PS4 console but it only works on the PS4 Pro console. But you can enable RGB for enhanced graphics.
Ramiz Mohammed rgb have nothing to do with the graphics it's enchanted or if you prefer better colors but your TV must support it if your TV it don't support it in full range it makes your colours look awful. The boost mode is only a ps4 pro setting it unlocks some hardware power for smoother gameplay that works only in older titles that are not optimised for the ps4 pro version the newer titles are already optimised for it and they are also recognise that the ps4 that you are using is a ps4 pro version. Don't need a special dongle for wireless controller support on pc, the controller uses Bluetooth and once you hold down the share button and ps button the controller will be avaliable to connect to from any Bluetooth device

EmaraldGaming 763 Microsoft does not have the market like Sony does in Japan. If they did, it would be a much closer number. The iPhone sells more than Android based on hype, but on hardware compared to other Android phones.... Not so much for ironically, price and performance. McDonald's has sold billions more hamburgers than an organic sandwich joint, does that make it better? Or just more well known? Because going by that example of logic, you can view both sides of the coin. The pro is reaching its cap in power, hell ff12 isn't even 4k and 30fps due to hardware caps and restrictions. All they have to go off of is mainly single player exclusives from years ago remastered (Crash is another title). I'm definitely not a fan boy but you idiots need to wake up, enjoy a system with 10 exclusives yet want to talk about games? Third party has more titles available, if you want exclusives and EVEN WORSE HARDWARE and Greed, Nintendo needs another fanboy. I'm just happy a console is coming out with this much power for the price.

But what is the point if that console has nothing exclusive to it? As a PC gamer i can't see the point in grabbing that console over the PS4 Pro. Yea, the Xbox One X may have better performance in multiplatform games over the Pro but it won't over the PC and with the exclusives being available to us PC gamers there isn't any point in buying it. Perhaps if they had a handheld like the Vita or true Exclusives but as it stands, to me atleast, it's just a waste of money.
Also, just as a side note: Japan has half the population that the U.S has, literally. Not to mention the last report was that it had only sold 4.5 million in Japan, which is a small portion of their total number. Even if it didn't sell at all in Japan they would still have a huge lead over the Xbox One. At this point I, personally, feel as though it's too late for Microsoft to recover. Not only did they shoot themselves in the foot by sharing exclusives with PC but they advertised as a media box during the E3 release and sold a less powerful console at the start. They should have just bit the bullet and sucked it up until the next gen console release but hey, that's just my opinion.

WiFi speeds (even at 2.4 Ghz) is much faster than almost anyone's wifi, so the bump in potential speeds by going to 5Ghz is only useful if many people are on the same connection.

(I have a PS4 pro) the VR has under 1080p graphics on all games just to let you know, it's fun with the immersion which is why I got it, but if you love graphics, don't get the PS VR.

Hey friends, I'm pretty new to ps4. I'm coming from xbox one, which had a really easy grid. Is there a way to set the homescreen to a grid? Or make "library" the homescreen or at least make it the first option? This random shuffle line of apps and content is pretty much useless for me. Could you imagine if your phone or computer were like that??
Alex Black nothing exists of such matter, the Xbox is based off Windows 10 which allows customizable home screen... however the PS4 has ISO Software which has been the same since 2006 and can’t and won’t be changed in any time

Ironically there's only 1 game on that list which is unplayable on PC and that's Horizon Zero Dawn. Every other game you mentioned can be played through emulators with even higher quality graphics than the original console.
The ONLY place you can play the likes of Burnout 3 and the Metroid Prime Trilogy in true HD or even 4K+ with any controller you wish, is on the PC platform. :)
All that without mentioning the likes of Super Mario Galaxy where same applies and 60 fps throughout too I may add.

Well if I could use a lan cable I would but I have to run it all the way from the upstairs floor to the basement which would look really ugly and probably get in the way... So I don't know just yeah LOL just not a very good way to do it other than using WiFi which kind of sucks but hey at least the wifi chip is better on the pro now but I do agree that using a cable is a lot better if possible which really for me it's not unfortunately LOL but yeah I guess
