I think what I enjoy most, even more than their flexibility between parts, is the fact that these guys are having a lot of fun doing this. I imagine they had to work on this routine for many hours before getting it just right, .. but then in this performance it comes off as being effortless. Great job.
Can anyone appreciate the amount of key changes they did during the song? A normal choir would require a ton of practice to even change one key throughout the song. Given that they're just four people, one cannot underestimate their amazing musical talents, especially on this song.

My high school choir ( and jazz choir) did performances that included multiple key changes. In fact, under the same music director we did key-changes in middle school chorus performances.
As long as everybody is listening carefully and can sing in-tune, a key-change shouldn't present any difficulty!

--Dave, I KNOW why I can't sing bass: I have the notes but not the power. Luckily bari fits me perfectly.
I mean, Kohl has sung bass in other quartets before IC, and he’s done multitracks, so I’m sure he actually holds his weight on bass when not in a facetious environment.
@@glowco.717 I'm 3 years late, but Kohl can sing some solid bass! Having sang with him at contest and heard his learning tracks, I can def say he can sing bass. He jokes for the song.

Kohl's dancing is hilarious. It's ALWAYS the baris who get way too much into the choreography. I love it.
It's the only way a Bari is going to get noticed. No one can pick our part out, so we gotta get visual recognition.

I've loved barbershop quartet ever since I first heard "The Music Man" LP album back in the 60's. It just seems like the guys have so much fun singing! Remember the "Buffalo Bills?"

When I ist heard them I think they finished second or third I thought they are gold in the making
They finished in 8th, then won next year. They have only gold medals (and collegiate silvers) from Internationals.

AMAZING TALENT. These kinds of groups deserve 1000% more credit and HUGE audiences. Some people are too hooked on "popular" garbage music to find good wholesome REAL talent like these guys.
Although I get what you're wanting to say, putting down music you don't like as garbage is simply not something you should do. Music is topical, not factual. Its not right or wrong. Just because someone doesn't like what you like doesn't mean what they like is "garbage"

It's Theo taking his part, the descending half-steps he does would be something a baritone usually sings, I could be mistaken ofc, but that's what it looks like to me.
