Kohl's part in that tag is nuts! He takes the bass part going down to an F#2, but then finishes the tag on the top with an Eb5. Craziness

I attended college with Kohl, sang in the mens chorus with him at Ball State, he is a great guy with much talent.
The thing that's crazy is that the overtones when they matched the vowels sound like he sung an Eb6 lol

This would be a challenge for the sound guys if it was individually miced... but with the area mics the probably just let it ride.
at first I don't get the "that's not right either" joke at the end, then after watching their other performance i realized that they missed the final cadence lmao (usually the song ends here with the tonic, but not here :P)

Someone enlighten me. Why does this mess with the sound guys?
So in theory the sound guys use this act to balance the levels on the microphones so that the bass isn't too loud or the midranges too quiet. But because they're all singing out of their normal range the volume levels are all over the place.
