I just wanna say that this whole barbershop experience (which I discovered these last 2-3 years) is genuinely USAmerican. I also met Americans in Greece singing with their choirs etc. You are a thoroughly lovely people and the events of the past days truly does not reflect the quality of people I have met and talked with. I think it's a judge giving a brief standing ovation to Jake at 9:36 when he says 'it's my first time'? That there is what I'm talking about. Humility and love for music. Not racism and xenophobia. The whole world needs to work on stuff. In the mean time, let's sing four part harmonies.
this is fantastic, definitely agree with the sentiment. (I am gonna nitpick about barbershop just being American, I sing in barbershop groups in the UK, and while it only exists because the artform came to the fore in the USA, the barbershop scene in the UK is self sufficient)
I saw them perform a couple of nights ago. These young men are brilliant; tight, composed, and funny as hell. They have a bright future singing for many, many, many decades to come! Love to see them shine brighter^^
This is very possibly one of the most delightful things I've seen in a very long time. They're so talented and they clearly have so much fun performing!
People under estimate the effects of these underated styles of music. The reason they work so well even now is because they are folk classics that our grandparents and great grandparents loved, and from hearing them it's a reminiscent feeling of family.
Magimos I think he said "the ten" referring to the final 10 in the competition, personally I've only seen videos and don't know that much but that's what I get from it 🤷♂️
Brett Ferguson - that's exactly what it means. Ten quartets make the finals (referred to as "making the 10"); 11th place (from the semifinals) does the mike test. Twenty quartets make the semifinals - 21st place from the quarterfinals does the mike test. David Zimmerman's quartet - Instant Classic - was the previous year's champ, and NF4 just missed the 10 that year.

those chords were glowing! that one was the most time-travel-esque of them all for me.
@@alistairwall5470It was *initially* American.
I saw them perform a couple of nights ago. These young men are brilliant; tight, composed, and funny as hell. They have a bright future singing for many, many, many decades to come! Love to see them shine brighter^^
So this is back for it’s annual appearance in my recommend
Oh my friend how I missed you
This is very possibly one of the most delightful things I've seen in a very long time. They're so talented and they clearly have so much fun performing!
i got shivers when he started to sing the jazz version
The guy you refer to as 'red-haired guy' is Jackson Niebrugge. This talented guy deserves a simple Google search.

Felt sorry for the guy who got his lines wrong- lotta pressure
So do I. I sing acapela with a partner and occasionally flub my lines.
Honestly he made it so much funnier tho
That would be me tho
he is so good at the music part that i wonder if the messed up lines were scripted.
And that, my friends, is what we call "a good time!" That was awesome!!
Oh the many faces of David Zimmerman
!
!
!
?
So much emotion in that one face that it's petrifying his facial muscles.
People under estimate the effects of these underated styles of music. The reason they work so well even now is because they are folk classics that our grandparents and great grandparents loved, and from hearing them it's a reminiscent feeling of family.
I love it when these guys get recommended to me at random times. Reminds me of how impressive this is, and how great they sound.
I’m so happy that new people are finding new fangled
David: Maybe you'll make the ten next year.
I DON'T CARE WHAT UNIVERS YOU COME FROM THAT HAS GOT TO HURT
Can’t count the times I’ve watched this and I just never want it to end
1:20 Jackson. Sounded. So. Hot. My goodness! And that one girl as soon as he started singing was like "WOOOOOOOO"
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that
@@gomee23 same
Well my goodness me I am blushing
I am a heterosexual male but damn...a man singing showtunes...Andy Bernard was right...
@@jacksonniebrugge3154 it oozes sex appeal my man. Your voice is a weapon of great powers 🤣
LOL this was hilarious!! And the harmonies were sooooo tight :D :D :D well done all involved!
Nicki Richards just kidding
Whoa -- Jackson holding that note at the end there for 16 seconds! That's damn hard to do.
RIP Jackson, brutally slain by David Zimmerman.
MajorX17 is he dead
Joey Korsmit no
Didnt get the reply tbh - "maybe you'll make it next year to the dent"?
Magimos I think he said "the ten" referring to the final 10 in the competition, personally I've only seen videos and don't know that much but that's what I get from it 🤷♂️
Brett Ferguson - that's exactly what it means. Ten quartets make the finals (referred to as "making the 10"); 11th place (from the semifinals) does the mike test. Twenty quartets make the semifinals - 21st place from the quarterfinals does the mike test. David Zimmerman's quartet - Instant Classic - was the previous year's champ, and NF4 just missed the 10 that year.
Clap clap clap!
Love your vids bro
A Cappella Trudbol you're videos are great?

A Cappella Trudbol Julien you rock.
All except for the rap portion, BTW your videos have been great so far, keep up the good work.
