"Reign" isn't really any shorter than "Ni" but they've cleverly set that 'monk' between to tall 'monks' to make the effect really pop. Many congratulations to the creators - this thing is just fun.
People are hiding under their feet and behind the curtain, you can see one kids arms completely sticking out because he put his arm on the outside rather than under the robe. Can see their fingers holding the signs too, got confused how they were making that motion with their feet but easy to see if you look...
That's the part they messed up on tho, third dude from the left in the front row made it say "king of shall" instead of "king of kings" because he flipped the sign the wrong way at around the 3:10 mark. The rest was relatively flawless if you don't count one of the guys on the right accidentally pointing his signs too far forward and showing the words when his arms relaxed and drooped down too far.
@@DrakeOola who cares if they messed up twice, that’s still really impressive, this is not an easy song, the fact they could do this at all with such a small group is very impressive

Got to admit: This is really, really cool. I have sung this many times in many chorale settings and it is a very difficult song to sing. They did an awesome job!
@@peachparee7647 as far as choral singing goes, it's a fairly straight forward chorus to sing. It's made easier by the fact that it's very famous, so if you're like me, you heard is as a kid, and when it came time to singing it properly, you were already halfway there. On the other hand, choral singing is a skill, and it's not easy. If you're not used to choral singing, this would be difficult to do.
Is nobody gonna talk about how cute and pure that was? I would never have assumed that I'd sit through the whole song but it was so entertaining and adorable, I just had to keep watching! This is on the Monty Python level of awesomeness.
Only if the monks occasionally hit themselves in the head with their signs.

I just want to sing... OH NO YOU DON"T
Definitely agree with that.
honestly this was much more entertaining than any choir i’ve ever seen
But it only succeeded because there was also a great choral recording
@@Skittl1321 no, i have never listened to a religios choir for that long, and i wouldn't have done it If It weren't special
The sheer genius of where they placed the really tall person and the short person. 🤣
I don't know why I'm getting recommended this 11 years later, but I'm happy about it.

Got to admit: This is really, really cool. I have sung this many times in many chorale settings and it is a very difficult song to sing. They did an awesome job!
Can you tell me what makes it so difficult to sing?
@@peachparee7647 as far as choral singing goes, it's a fairly straight forward chorus to sing. It's made easier by the fact that it's very famous, so if you're like me, you heard is as a kid, and when it came time to singing it properly, you were already halfway there.
On the other hand, choral singing is a skill, and it's not easy. If you're not used to choral singing, this would be difficult to do.

As a side note, the music is also nowhere near the easiest of pieces to play. Pretty demanding parts, especially the trumpet.
Wait they were actually singing the whole time?! I thought they were using a recording
The perfect response for music lovers who can't carry a tune in a sack! Bravo!
Bouncy monk is my favorite, however they all performed wonderfully!
0:48 - Reign is by far the best member of the choir. So enthusiastic! He puts his heart into his performance for sure!

This is Buddhism not Christianity are you stupid
This is actually quite impressive and it gave me a right tickle too! The Monk having to bend up and down for "Of" took me out🤣
If this in Got Talent, I'll hit golden buzzer no doubt
And what they would make in finals? Same thing again? This is one time event
Is nobody gonna talk about how cute and pure that was?
I would never have assumed that I'd sit through the whole song but it was so entertaining and adorable, I just had to keep watching!
If this is the way of gaining followers for a religion then they got me.
Also someone give that small monk a ladder please!

Well, they didn't get me, but I still found it quite entertaining.

September 2024. This is 1st time TH-cam recommended for me. This is great stuff. Why keep it hidden? I’ll be sharing it. Now.
Yeah, well the rest of us get this recommended randomly throughout the year. Welcome to the club 😂 And we've all shared with everyone we know and some random strangers, even.

I love these lil' nuggets of gold in the youtube algorithm. They just pop up in my recommendeds 8 years after they're uploaded and I love that.

Nice, I like your profile picture
A „normal cold“ had me lose my voice for more than 8 weeks and ongoing, my patience is running thin and frustration high. Now came across this video and for sure this is what I will send for way of Christmas greetings to all my family, as telephone calls are off the table.
Hilarious what they did there, great skill, dedication and creativity.
Thanks for the joy!
I didn't know I needed this in my life until now. Thank you TH-cam recommendations 👌🏻
