Then built on in the semis and finals. They've made a highlight of his introduction throughout the three packages and allowed his personality to become integral to the group dynamic. Love this.

Jake has aged a lot, but damn has he aged well. He was always good looking but he's one of the few that seemingly get better with age. Glad to see them back, and thankfully "The Ginger" hasn't changed that much. Wishing them all the best for everything to come
I find they all evolved well and they blend better. Without losing their humor.

He's always been good looking, and though it seems to have gone under the radar, he also has been (IMO) the best actor of the group. His face is so expressive; he really emotes and of course the physical bits of business are always spot on. It just seems like even more than Jackson or Joey, he is never "just singing" but always embodying the narrative of the lyrics.
They might not get 1st place in the competition, but they should absolutely get 1st in the “most lovable and funny” category

Genuinely, there isn't much that brings me more joy than watching a Newfangled Four video, then scrolling down to read the comments. The love and appreciation that these guys rack up from so many loyal fans is genuinely heart-warming. The community surrounding them is so wholesome and it always brings a smile to my face reading through some of the things people write in appreciation. You can tell how much they're loved! Jake’s Voice is so smooth this year. Sometimes I try to isolate it in my mind. I think Joey is better in songs like Zazz and Joe Re Mi. He is much better in tags this year. Marcus has such a great silky voice that gave me goosebumps in this performance. Jackson sounds great and has really come into is own as a lead
They’re essence is so sweet , humble, and so funny. I celebrate you guys ….keep on workin hard!!!

That Quorum joke was amazing, plus they have basically perfected the singing not compromising for comedy either, having a great balance. One of their best years since 2017.

@@aleksjenner677 maybe, I don't know. In all their other videos of this song, including their district "road-test" just a couple of months earlier, they sing the chord straight and it's pretty powerful. Hard to imagine why they would try to change that at international
This is just at another level. I was absolutely fascinated during the part about how the world can change with harmony.

This was always a good song (their arrangement, I mean, haha - although I don't mind the original!) - but that final chord is just _fantastic._ I was wondering where the high note had come in from, then looked across to Joey - I think that's the most beautiful few notes I've ever heard him produce!
