I am the person they mention later in the show. Scott King. This way of eating has literally saved my life. I had assume I was going to die and nearly gave up. This was a last ditch resort for me and was in complete shock it worked. I am off all meds and healthier than ever. Even had a full blood panel this past week for a physical and labs are perfect. I couldn't even stand for more than 10 mins before. Every aspect of my life is better and healthier. 310lbs down and not going to stop. I hope this encourages other. I was hopeless and helpless and this works.

45 years of following the pyramid and I had increasing health issues. Went plant based, 'cos it's healthier, right? Health got worse. Teeth issues lead me to Western A Price and a low carb diet, and my health improved. Low carb eventually became high fat carnivore and ALL my health issues, IBS, gum and periodontal disease, hair loss, arthritis, acne, brain fog, and more went away. I also had unexpected benefits, not needing deodorant, not burning in the sun, my eye sight improved and finding it easy to drop fat and gain muscle, without trying! I'm now post menopausal, 5 years mostly carnivore, and the only person I know of my age who's slim and on not meds.

I am here with you with the deodorant. I also use home made soap (which is same price or cheaper the in store) without any added glycerin and use colloidal silver if needed. Even thou i still sweat like a pig i rarely stink as i execrate so much salt i inhibit all bacterial growth. Using home made soap my skin have no oils for the bacteria to eat (including glycerin). Since i am so salty i attract moisture and my skin is super moist and smooth.
I have been inching towards carnivore over 10 years and the biggest changes on keto/carnivore are velvety skin (even thou it was fine before), reduce to no joint pain and improve sleeping and needing less.

Talking about Devine Intervention…. In my early 20’s I had a serious problem with alcohol. I had learned to like the taste of beer at a very young age and had been kept in check by my parents until I moved out of their house. On my own I was free to do as I pleased and to make a long story short I produced, or probably digressed to the point of drinking Bacardi 151 straight from the bottle and it was the last thing I wanted at night and the first thing I wanted in the morning. I came in late one evening four sheets in the wind and sat down on the couch. The next thing I knew I was sober as a judge and I heard a voice that sounded like thunder. It said, you can keep going they way you are if you want to, but if you do you’re going to be dead. I said, if you help me I will quit. It was all taken away and I never wanted another drop. Thanks be to God he intervened.

I had pre-diabetes and a very high fasting blood sugar. I immediately went on full carnivore diet, meat, fish, egg, cheese, apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil. I ate as much as I felt I wanted.
My fasting blood sugar returned to normal in a few months. I dodged a bullet. I've been carnivore or semi-carnivore ever since.
Satiety was a word I only knew in theory, I'd never experienced satiation with food previously unless I had filled my stomach.

I was 385 lbs in April of 2023. In January 2024 I cut out all sugar and wheat. No exercise. Only ate salad and eggs. Fasted for 11 days in April, then started intermittent fasting to this very day. Now I’m 300 lbs, still dropping weight slowly. Feeling great!
So I have lost 85 lbs on a keto diet, and more importantly I am permanently eating differently for life! It’s a lifestyle or habit.
    Good luck everyone!

You need to get proper nutrition and those eggs are ok but expensive and that salad is like eating foam rubber.Hunger is the main reason for failure for the majority of people on all those diets that were touted over the years. Proper Human Diet is fatty meat. Grass fed is nice but the grain finished will work if that is what you can afford. Dr. Ken D.Berry MD has lots of postings here on YT.Watch the early ones when he was keto and now he and his wife are now carnivore.

Yep, show the corruption of how this woke left group of militant 7th day Adventists started the “meat bad” agenda and trying to start their depopulation agenda by telling people to barely eat meat as it encourages procreation! Terrible! Look up Ellen G White! Her group designed the food pyramid, as well as “health” guidelines, are involved in “health” organizations, and even wrote the curriculum for doctors on “nutrition” which is very small, but all biased toward their agenda of “meat is bad” as it encourages healthy procreation. They even designed the vegan/ vegetarian scam diets too!
God encourages families to have children and meat keeps the human body healthy- and humans should only consume small to zero amount of plant based foods!

When someone tells me grains are bad I feel the same way as when I was told eggs, butter, and milk were bad. Something's off-kilter. The one time I naturally lost weight and kept it off I was eating a heap of rice each day (I was in the Philippines). I am convinced that the reason both low-carbohydrate and low-fat diets work is that, whichever one you go on, the first thing you do is stop eating desert (cookies, cup-cakes, candy bars) every day and fast food every other day. Drill down further (on either diet) and you start eliminating the highly processed foods. There is oil and sugar in just about everything they shovel at us.

    • @stvcolwill
      @stvcolwill 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

Yep, both work in the short term. Either you starve yourself to your target (burn more than you intake of carbs), or you eat like we have for thousands and thousands of years (you know, before as a people we had cancer, auto immune diseases, type 2 diabetes, parkinsons, alzheimers and all these other chronic diseases) high amounts of whole foods rich in proteins and saturated fat. It really comes down to whatever you can find yourself sticking with.

    • @johnunderwood9575

You don't need carbs, ever. Rice? Never. Bread, never. Vegetables? Never. Fruits? Never. Sugar? Two teaspoons a day, max. Primarily Animal proteins and animal fats. No soy. No almond milk. No fruit drinks. Nothing but whole milk or coconut milk, or water. One cup of black coffee is probably ok. Any of the seed oils, NEVER. Seafoods, wild caught only. Beef, grass fed, pasture raised, no hormone's, no antibiotics. If you have a source for raw, unpasteurized, milk, drink that, it is far better than processed milk. The only reason milk is pasteurized is to increase shelf life, but it removes all the probiotics in raw milk that aid in digestion. Eggs are also a good source of protein. Cheese is good but be selective as there are many processed and and ultra processed cheese's out there that are no good for you. Butter? Absolutely, a half to a full stick a day is great. Black coffee to bitter for you're taste? Whole milk or half n half are fine and will take the bitter edge off you're coffee.

A couple years ago I went on the all meat diet and went from 4 to 5 rx a day to zero scrips six months in from starting.
I am lucky enough to be the fifth generation of the family beef business that my forefathers started in 1918. There’s been so many generations that the amount of land had been diluted to the point that only one of my siblings is able to make a living off of it but I still kept a few of my cows for sentimental reasons and still butcher my own beef. My buddy has a small feeding operation that takes cattle from the yearling age to slaughter weight by feeding expired produce from the regions big grocery stores. This is an amazing way to findish cattle. Most all the produce still looks as fresh as what many grocery stores have on the shelves but once it reaches it date it goes in the dump. When the produce arrives to the feedlot its dried and ran through the grinder then mixed with fresh ground hay and grass then put in the bunk for the cattle to eat free choice. There’s never been a happier pen full of cattle. They get everything that the fresh produce isle has and grow extremely well. We have a local packing plant that processes one calf at a time and doesn’t mix two beef together which is nice because our calves don’t have any antibiotics or growth hormones in them. We know that plastics are becoming a problem in humans bodies so our packing plant has gone back to using bees wax paper to wrap the meat in. The paper wrapped meat lasts longer in the freezer too. There’s on average 40-50 steers in the fat pen for sale for slaughter each month so if anyone is within 50 miles of OKC and wants a top notch fed calf ready for slaughter let us know. We are not officially in the butchered and packed meat business but if anyone wants fresh beef like this shipped to them call the slaughter plant in Shamrock TX and they might be able to hook you up with the best of the best. Not nearly as expensive as what the internet beef brands are either.

I love this podcast!! I have been preaching this same message for over 20 years. You are correct in saying that only a few will listen. It takes sometime for those who do listen to take action. There was one that said she will never read food labels.. However she has now and was able to get off all her meds and reverse her type two diabetes.. what is very discouraging as well is that some people I talk to are skinny and they think that they don’t have anything to worry about.
I am a 73 year old energetic, constantly moving female. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age of 58. I considered a blessing and a curse. Mainly because I don’t know if I would have ever read food labels or realize how our food system is.
Since being on Anselin, I have gained quite a bit of weight, and I have not been able to get any help from anyone because of being type one.. however over the past year, I have realized that the medical sector has it all backwards. They tell you to take the amount of insulin according to the amount of carbs you’re eating. That is not the case. You need to eat the amount of carbs of the insulin you’re taking. For instance, I allow myself seven units of insulin per meal. Therefore, I make sure that my carbs do not exceed that. I do not take insulin for breakfast because I don’t eat any carbs and I also able to keep my blood sugar low up until lunch with the activities that I’m involved in. So far, I’m only taking insulin for two meals. I don’t eat between meals unless my sugar is very low, but I do not take any insulin between meals.
I have cut out most grains. It is a process for sure. I do not eat any processed foods. Any Goodies I eat I bake. For example I eat a quarter of a pumpkin muffin. According to this podcast I still have some bad habits but I think they are small in comparison to what it was. I have been able to lose 15 pounds over the past several months because of the method I’m using.
I’m not sure if any of this is relevant, but I appreciate you very much and allow me to make these comments. I would love to be a part of your group of getting more of the word out, but I have very little social intervention, so I’m not sure how much I can do other than just speak to the people that I come in contact with..
Thank you, Mike for all your podcasts. They are very informative, but this tops them all.

I was reading all I could about diets along the way and it wasn't helping with the gradual rise in my weight. Finally, some doctors started coming clean and risking their licenses being taken away and teaching us what it really going on. After following their advice, I dropped down to 195lbs 4 years ago and I haven't gained anything back. Do the carnivore diet to break the carbohydrate and sugar addiction. Then, after about 1-3 years of pure carnivore, you can start to add single foods (broccoli or cabbage, etc) back in to your diet to see which ones do not cause problems. The carnivore diet is the diet to break addiction to the sugars because it is so satiating. As your local butcher (yes Safeway has butchers) to give you a 70/30 ground beef... tastes just like steak... then, eat that with sugarless bacon and eggs and plenty of salt. Also, until your body acclimates to the new diet, take electrolytes and whatever you do, triple the amount of water you were drinking. I drink between 90 to 150 ounces of water a day. You'll lose weight, you'll stop snoring, you'll eventually cure your type 2 diabetes, you'll cure your IBS, you'll cure your Crohn's disease, you'll cure your hypertension and you'll cure the vast majority of your autoimmune diseases. Do it.

Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet!
I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!”
I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank!
I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do!
I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 2 years now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️
    * No more perimenopause- completely reversed!
*Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself!
    *No more night sweats
*No more waking every 2 hours at night!
*It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast!
    *No more life long eczema
*No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea)
*No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm
*No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
    *No more brain fog
*No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows
*used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more!
*Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight.
*Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing!
*Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well.
*Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s.
*Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me.
*No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach!
*Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup!
*no cravings unless they are for meat
*no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago.
*No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around.
    * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller.
*feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that.
*Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights.
    * no more body odor!
    * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much.
*I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that.
    * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things.
*Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing!
*no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing!
    * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too!
*Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before.
*Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides!
*I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone!
*I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore.
*My teeth look more white on carnivore.
*My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome!
*i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone.
    * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months.
*the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry!
*little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance!
*The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy!
*My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier!
*my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be.
*My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!)
Want to mention if you start to get any allergy symptoms further into carnivore you may have histamine intolerance. Happened to me if I ate smoked meats daily for months straight. Went back to baking my meats and all the symptoms went away! Look into histamine intolerance when starting carnivore to make sure you know symptoms and not to eat smoked aged meats daily like I did if you get symptoms. Eat smoked meats less often.
I do go outside daily for at least an hour a day during week and several hours on weekends if possible! I try to stay on consistent sleeping schedule of 6-8 hours of sleep and sleep like a bear!☺️
So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

Going to add to these comments since they're following in my wheelhouse. Been meat-heavy keto since mid-late 2022, carnivore since late last year, and strict carnivore since March. I didn't do it for weight loss and I've got a skinny build to begin with, but it's been the best thing I've ever done. Mental clarity is crazy, sharper now than I was a teenager (31 now), with much more conviction than ever. Vinnie's right, only YOU have the ability to help yourself, and once you find this way of eating, there are many adversaries saying it's bad for you, but you have to educate yourself as well as ask questions and play devil's advocate. Whenever someone says you're doing something wrong, look at them and their state of health, and ask if you would sincerely take their advice against what you know now

My son is 45 and follows a keto diet. Couple of years ago he was so sick, couldn't digest anything and I was finally able to drag him to a doctor. At six feet, he weighed in at 122 lbs. They checked everything and couldn't find anything wrong. He decided to go full on keto and GAINED weight (which we wanted) and is so much healthier. Doctor also put him on an SSRI to help with severe anxiety and he's actually doing great. I think he weighs about 145 now and is building muscle. Keto really makes a difference. And our doctor approves of keto.

Tristan Hood here, and 10 years ago I started a journey of tracking what I was eating and it changed my life. I had just gotten news from the doctor that I would need to be on blood pressure medication for the rest of my life. A friend suggested tracking and Whole 30. I started with tracking, found that I was drinking 7 cups of coffee full of sugar and creamer every day. I cut that in half and lost 10 pounds after a week. After just 6 months, I had lost 55 pounds, was no longer putting sugar or creamer in my coffee, and I had been on the whole 30 as a new lifestyle. After 33 years of regular migraines, I no longer had headaches. Since then, no weight gain, and I ran my first marathon in 2023. Sugar overload is killing us. Dropping added sugar from my diet has been a life changer.

Mike, I would love to talk sometime about how I worked hard early in HS, so I would have one class my junior and senior years, so I could work full time. I was a welder. Growing up, that what I did into my 20's. Started to hate it because back in the early 90's, it didn't pay squat. So, after losing everything and eating out of garbage cans, I moved here to NE, got a job with the gov in IT. Went to college at night. Took 6 years to get my BS in IT management. Took 6 months off and went back to get my MAM. Here I am 11 years after that graduation, still in IT and wished I would have stayed in the trades back then and had someone tell me that there were a half dozen opportunities that I walked away from because I thought I would make more. What a sad thing. At least I met my wife and can die happy with her lol. Thank you for all you do.

After that, when he was designing plants and needed pipe fitters, he just filled in and saved the companies money because he was on salary as their chief chemical engineer. Strange guy. Used to like to make his own clothes, his mom was a dressmaker. Made our daughter's prom dress. Also likes to draw and create comics. 72 years old, never stops learning new stuff. Great podcast. Powerful!
We are not a society that's deliberately lazy, fat, sad, anxious, suicidal, and out to hurt/kill each other on purpose.
We are a society that has been undermined by big food and pharma.
Ultra-processed foods and beverages are undermining our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health!
Ultra-processed foods and beverages should not be consumed regularly.
The longing to experience something more is inherent in humans. Unless we bring forth a holistic approach, drugs will be ubiquitous:
    -Drink more water.
    -Eat mostly whole foods.
    -Increase your physical activity level.
    -Manage your weight.
-Connect and join groups of people aspiring to live a healthy lifestyle.
    -Make change that lasts.
