My dad was a carpenter, I remember working with him at a doctors office many years ago, the doctor needed a door hung. This was in the sixties before all the cool battery tools, so my dad used a chisel and hammer to carve out and set the hinges, a bit and brace to drill the holes for the lockset, he cut the trim by hand and crafted everything to fit and look perfect. He gave the doctor the bill, and the doctor complained about the price, my dad asked him why charged as much as he did and the doctor said something like, "I had to go through years of school and years as an intern to learn to be a doctor". So my father said to him, "I can't take out an appendix, but you can't hang a door". You can't argue that. I miss him and his simple wisdom dearly.
I'm also a carpenter. It's about 5-8 years to become efficient across the board. After 12 years into it, the amount of tools required as well as skill, yeah, I charge what I charge because I have earned it
@@danielpohl29Exactly, you don't have to pay me, you can go rent all these tools and then learn to use them yourself. These people really think that tradesmen like doing the work. I don't mind the work, I enjoy doing it for myself; but I'm only doing it for you for the money.
I meet loads of doctors and honestly they aren't really that smart. They just do loads of work and follow guidelines for everything. Having said that, I'd be useless at fitting a door.

This is the second time I've listened to this podcast. I could listen to these two speak all day long. Having them together on one platform is so interesting.
Two National Treasures on one podcast!! I agree, I wish, they would do one, once a month. It would take me that long, to look up the words in their vocabulary...lol I had a Great Aunt who lived in Fresno. I found it beautiful, with all the groves, the fresh air was amazing.
This episode got me really choked up. My father was raised on, and worked his family's citrus farm. When he came of age, he like his older brothers, enlisted in the military. He worked hard as a diesel mechanic most of his adult life, in harsh conditions. He provided for his family and gave me and my brother a wonderful example to follow. This man wrote a check for my college education a semester at a time. He is a conservative and a very patriotic American. Yet some feel that HE is what's wrong with America, because he stands on his values and refuses to bend the knee to the entitled leftists that would have the nerve to call him "deplorable." I owe my father everything, and we in civilized society owe a debt of gratitude to all of those men and women who get up early, pack a lunch, and go off to do the hard work every day.
63 attorney here, after retirement I dedicated all of my time to restoring my house, which was built in 1944. I watched a lot of DYI videos, and learned to do simple plumbing and electrical repairs. And afterwards, when I needed to hire a plumber, electrician, roofer, etc., they would let me help whenever possible. I also spent a lot of time buying parts at the supply stores (and not at Home Depot). I have great respect for "honest" tradesmen, and in many ways I believe that they contribute more to our society than the +1 million lawyers practicing today.
Thankyou coming from a 68 year old master carpenter while I watch the supposed up and coming (carpenters) that are so full of it they have no clue what they're saying or doing
@@larrybulthouse455 Most of the industry is plagued by so many issues it's not worth the squeeze. For example: People who are running the "trade schools" are really selling product "systems," building "inspectors" demand the "systems" be used. There's comparable money to be made "streaming" videos if you're talented at all, which the trades also require. High wages for low skill work like burger flipping making the kids not want to get into the trades... because they can't rationalize only making a few dollars more an hour to lift heavy stuff in some of the most deadly jobs for, after taxes, another $150-$200/week, meanwhile they're a net loss for weeks if not months to train. The high rents, vehicle costs, insurance, etc makes getting them to buy their own tools basically a starvation lifestyle with no fun in downtime. If they're getting $1,000/week gross (about 700 take home) and their rent/auto/insurance/phone/food (1,000/250/250/50/400) is $2k a month..a single battery tool is most of their disposable budget. Illegals are everywhere in the trades and they aren't even checked for insurance etc. They never get messed with. Over half my competition is illegal and a good half of what remains is "good ole boy" boomers with illegal labor rolling over shelf LLCs before they break $150k in profit. You can buy illegals by the month from the cartels. It's food, shelter, and $500 per week per man that you pay the cartel guy, not the debt slaves. I've been offered, and I know guys that use them. The customers can't afford what they want, but they "saw it done on HGTV in a weekend." Insurers are dropping carpenters left and right, plumbing and electrical locks people into years and years of apprenticeships that I've personally seen abused repeatedly by boomers who didn't want competition. Most tradesmen now refuse to work under anyone because of the exploitation they experienced coming up. Like the 600,000 mechanic shortage, no one wants to get paid 50% of the profit for 100% of the work. As a master carpenter, how many apprentices do you have? I'd wager if not your own kids, it's none.
Tradesman became disrespected in this country; everyone wanted to be an academic. They removed autoshop, woodshop, metalshop from the schools; like it was dirty to work with your hands. Now we have a generation that can't do anything, but we have plenty of lawyers, politicians and police, who can't build anything.
Hear, hear to that comment. It's not hard to understand Victor Hanson's explanation of what is happening in America and HOW we Patriots can help fix it.
We love Victor David Hansen and have a thing or two in common with him! I live in California and my Dad's name is Victor! RIP a Korean War Vet from San Antonio TX! We moved to beautiful California in 1962.My husband and I are from So.Cal and my husband went to University of Pittsburgh and the Cleveland Chiropractic College and practiced in LA until 2002! Fun fact for you Mike... I served in the Ranger Regiment, my father served in Korea, my grandfather served in world war II... And on and on it goes through the civil war war of 1812 revolutionary war even back into England where we served in the British army... My son just graduated from Tulsa welding school and I'll be damned if he's going to put a uniform on... America's going to have to find a different family to go and fight their wars in the future... I don't know who's going to protect the silicon valley families when the next war happens but it isn't going to be mine...

@@NuNugirl Congratulations on that lucky escape. Communism is an intellectual ideal (very misguided), whereas Conservatism takes the world as it is, together with all the "unfairness", which is not seen as an evil, it's just the way the world works, there is not need to correct or eliminate it. There should be opportunities for social advancement for those who wish to take them, for example via education. Those with intelligence and the ability to work hard can succeed. Mike Rowe : I'm a retired Plumber of 45 years. I t was a physically hard job , and I made good money. Very few young are entering the plumbing trades, and a shortage is coming. Mostly it appears there is some disgust with being a plumber and working hard. I always had a job even in bad economic times.
Who are the elites going to call when they need a plumber or a roofer or an electrician? They don't know yet that they need the trades people the trades people don't need them
I was just thinking the same. Both of these men are people I listen to on a weekly basis. Their combined wisdom is hard to deny . This video is one I think every American that is in touch with what is happening to our country today should watch.
It's the same here in South Africa . . . farmers are not appreciated and under attack! 'If you ate today . . . thank a farmer' is a saying we have in this country.
My Grandfather had a 400 acre Farm in Charleston Tennessee. He was also the Tax Assessor. He would scream "The World is going to Hell in a handbasket "
From one who grew up in Fresno, and returned to Fresno after experiencing the Orange County Elites, I throughly enjoyed this conversation and wholeheartedly agree with the overall sentiment. Thank you both.
This is phenomenal, two brilliant, well educated, articulate Americans, that I would I be proud to work side by side with. Even being a 70 yr. old successful “blue collar guy” , knowing there’s still people like these left in this country gives me a glimmer of hope!
These are childless old men, shortly out the door of life, and that brings hope to you? That's fine, but if youth were talking like this & about similar things, I'd find hope in that.

That account of the man who took his life is heart wrenching. I'm Mennonite, and we're historically mostly farmers. Yes, being a farmer is a pejorative term, and I spent a large part of my life feeling ashamed to say I was Mennonite. But the work ethic served me well, and now that I'm in my 60's, I say it unapologetically. (Not proudly, because that's not the Mennonite way lol). Farmers are the backbone of any country. Period. That's why they're under attack.
Mennonite are lovely people. In my area we just have to straighten people out from confusing you with the Amish. XD I would point out that you folks live the life that everyone on both sides of the aisle claim to want to live. With nature and natural, organic, community, environmental, egalitarian. So what is their issue? Don't forget a lot of time people treat something as a negative out of their own insecurity and inadequacies, and like children, they take it out on the other person. Most are rabid hypocrites who are compensating.
I’m from a strong German Catholic farming community. Hardest working people are farmers, who still understand growing food to feed their families. That seems to have been lost and in the past- made to seem ‘less’ so people can’t feed their own families.. a huge evil scam. God wants us to be able to feed our own families without relying on the grocery stores. There’s a beautiful trend back to ‘homesteading’. Which is helping to reteach skills that were being lost.
I went to school for a long time. I graduated with a doctorate in dentistry, but my son is starting an apprenticeship as an electrician and my daughter left college for the army. I'm very proud of them
Your son should do well as an electrician. I went through a ship fitter apprenticeship in San Diego. Also went through an electrical appreticeship In NV. I was able to purchase a few rental properties.
@@richardcampbell8685 I think it's a bit of being in denial and looking the other way. However, if people pay attention to the news, by now, adults over 30 have heard about shortages in the trades, including some professions, such as nursing and teaching. It was definitely more of a thoughtful discussion, and the balance of conversation was refreshing. I felt I learned a great deal from both of them. Where we are in history presently is more a far correction from where we were headed. Thank you Victor and Mike.
Thank you Mike for distilling it all down to a simple premise. Hypocrisy. It is absolutely the factor initiating this rebellion in every facet of modern society. From the grapes that are taken for granted to the 18 year old in the helicopter while the doctor protests, ‘not my son!’, to the handyman fixing some elitist’s door. There is a lack of respect and a demoralizing denigration of the people who hold this country together. The people who work hard everyday in the proverbial pit, and sometimes the literal pit, are feeling taken advantage of while CEOs take unprecedented bonuses and neglect the people who allow them to hold such a position. There is no loyalty or respect left to give when there is no reciprocation.

@@BaliXpres If I may offer a bit of advice as I also suffer from a chronic back injury. Look into getting a device called a "Teeter Hang-Up" . Get the original, not an imitation. It has worked a miracle on my back, my wife's neck and many others I have recommended it to. It is an inversion support device that induces traction on your spine. In physiology there is a Law called "Wolf's Law. It states that Connective tissue is laid down along lines of stress. Out of proper native alignment and the body will begin repair out of alignment and reinforce the disease state. This has a negative impact on nerves, vessels, lymph, surrounding tissue and endocrine system. Chronic inflammation follows that can lead to decompensation in other nearby structures and systems and even to cancer risk. Inducing proper alignment via traction allows your spine a rest. Opens up blood flow to areas compacted by gravity. It allows fluid to flow back into the spinal discs and rehydrate. This opens up the intervertebral foramen (holes) where the nerves pass through. Via Wolf's Law...allows your body to repair itself in proper alignment. Combine this with good nutrition, stretching Range of Motion exercises, breathing techniques and strength training and it is possible to fully heal and reverse a chronic injury. I dont know your specific case so you should consult with your Dr about it. One last thing. Though you can fully invert upside down, its not recommended to do that if you cant tolerate it...Rather, the best results are when you invert 5 degrees to 15 degrees or so. It can be set up with stop limits so there is no fear of getting stuck upside down etc. During inversion you would relax into it and do some deep breathing and subtle lateral movements to get the spine to straighten out. I wish you the best recovery!
Thank you. I was confronted by a man from nyc on line who berated me, a midwesterner, about how we should be grateful to the northeast : that we would die without them. Brilliant men and women with more on the line every day than I ever have had.
Just remember that there are many foregn adversary trolls either AI generated or human that are doing everything they can to divide us here on the internet. 2 months after russia invaded Ukraine I noticed that the negative comments were almost nowhere to be seen. Subsequently I heard on the news that large corporations were pulling out of russia including internet technology companies which left russia without internet access. Technology companies need to fix this asap.
As someone from the northeast I sincerely apologize for some of my fellow neighbors. We are all Americans and need one another for America to be at its best. So ignore those folks and know that we are not all like that.
If NYC continues on its current course and Wall Street closes and all major financial centers have to be relocated to a redder state area because crime and societal instability has become so intolerable, that smug Northeasterner will quickly find out just how _little_ places like NY, MA, ME and CT produce and haven't since the early 1970's. Crabs and lobsters are luxuries, not standard goods that sustain you in austerity/wartime. The garment/textile industries in the NE are gone just like the steel mills and coal mines in PA. And I'll also bet he couldn't name(much less own) even 5 basic financial/investment products prevalent to his vaunted NE seaboard region financial centers. The capital/job-producing/Euro former immigrant descendant class flight out of the NE urban/suburban centers, will only accelerate this demise. Only proud manipulated rubes who consume NE/pop-lefty propaganda literati garbage from NYT, The New Yorker and Vanity Fair then fall asleep watching MSNBC, would ever believe(much less utter), such regionally biased ignorance.

Excellent interview…best I’ve ever heard. Both VDH and Rowe are two of the best “intellectuals” ever to walk this great Republic. …if only these two were in charge of the country …
Mike Rowe, thank you so much for letting your guests speak, it is greatly appreciated. Journalists today like to hear themselves talk, they can learn a lot watching you. Great interview.
Exactly. What surprises me is how few people object to the narcissism. But then, they aren't really journalists, and are more of activists; take that grotesque "intro" at the NABJA to Trump. 🤮 As if that weren't enough ... imagine if journalists could see themselves as we see them; for the stenographers they really are. How do those people accept _approved messaging_ cards, or the _authorized questions to ask the regime_ without quitting. SURELY they realize what they're doing doesn't even RESEMBLE journalism. In which you could make a montage of 50-100 of them pumping out regime media every day. How can they possibly have any self respect..? And how do they not realize that if they're asked to repeat it [by] the regime, that it must mean the opposite is true..? What was interesting was to hear VDH repeat that many of the faculty at universities realize their institutions have completely corrupted their telos. Which means they know they're self immolating now. At first, democrats were just assuming that if POCs went to college that they'd suddenly be smart (whether they were or weren't) by merely attending. But instead of making people who traditionally wouldn't have gone to college smart ... they made colleges that graduated them dumber, and resulted in either mismatch and dropping out for the rest (see: Heather Mac Donald's work). How glorious it'd be if there actually [were] tests given to grads irrespective which university you went to, in order to have some parity within the meaning of their diplomas and fake GPAs. Personally, this is another VDH interview I will listen to more than once. Just outstanding.
Good interviewers pose great questions then let guests run... you know who will really riff if you let him? Gen Mike Flynn, I wonder if Rowe has or would interview him.
Absolutely true. And one of the worst offenders and 'interrupters' is our own beloved Sean Hannity. I love Sean but can't even listen to him much anymore because he continually talks over his guests. It's to the point of being ridiculous.
I am a machinist in a steel mill that's over 100 years old. It is an amazing experience. Some of the people you meet are so dedicated and the absolute backbone of our society. I have worked with about a dozen guys that have had 40-52 years in the plant. To see a blast furnace up close is a humbling experience.
Thank you. I grew up in the shadow of the blast furnaces and Bessemer Hearths of the original Steel Valley, and saw them demolished a decade ago. Amazingly ‘engineering historians’ made notes of the construction of the Homestead mills’ for posterity’It’s all gone, what isn’t is rusting away.
My husband worked at US Steel in Pittsburgh. He had a love/hate relationship with the job but was proud to be part of the steel industry and the history the company and industry had in the area and the building of this nation. He witnessed a work fatality and he eventually chose to leave a few years later because carrying the burden of his employees work lives and safety was too much for him to bear. He still tears up when he discusses the event. My dad was in construction and had a fatality on a job he was supervising. Those events changed both my father and my husband forever
I grew up in the valley and this brought tears to my eyes. My family is a farming family and we work hard and I could not be more proud of where I grew up and the land that we were blessed with.
VDH + MR= common sense + sanity I worked on my 300 acre farm nights and weekends and a full time job during the day. Every year taxes went up, prices went down for goods. I hired four guys to pick fruit. After paying them and providing a lunch, i noticed that my three hundred dollar air compressor was stolen. Lesson learned. It doesn't pay to hire workers. Next year i also noticed fruit production was pitiful, why? Because the hired hands broke off the fruit bearing spurs off the year before. We're told this is the way to prosperity. We're lied to everyday.
haymannd What an insulting way to describe one of America’s most intelligent, most highly educated man we have the privilege of listening to. Your ignorance is not appreciated! JMHO
Thank-you Mike for this great conversation. I have so much respect for Victor Hanson he has such calm insight into what is right and wrong with our country.
Victor seems completely unaware that the only great industrialists used to be the spectacularly wealthy elite, and all the things he complains about in the new elites, they were guilty of. Victor just hates that the industrialists no longer make the most money. He’s so lacking self awareness.
Can we imagine a Civil War and a Revolution, simultaneously? Does anybody alive today know what the Second Amendment was given to us for by our Founding Fathers?
"so brave", for what? Kid cant drink a beer, but can be sent to kill in another country? Also the older dude supposed to be some big brain, but he supported war of terror in Iraq. And YOU, and your husband thinks this is awesome. For the same reason 85% of the world hates your regime
So proud of my hard-working, muscular, smart, rough carpenter husband. He's a great provider, honest and trustworthy. He has so much business (referral based only - no website), he's never short of work. Hoping that one day he can train our grandson in the Trade. Great guest and video. Thank you!!!

OIF vet here. I’m a warrior to the core, but you couldn’t convince me to get my son to join. I feel betrayed in my youth to go fight a war ideologically, that fundamentally wasn’t true, and hind sight…..used our emotions of the time against us. That mistrust isn’t solved easily and I don’t want to send my son to false wars for the military industrial complex. I think many other warriors feel the same way and choose to raise our sons as home warriors. Ready to defend this house and family. I’m very proud of my service and of those that have and do serve. I’m not proud of our lying politicians that are willing to throw us to the fire, just to see how the flames dance.
Well stated! My dad was a decorated Korean War Marine combat vet. He taught me and my sisters to love this country, but it took realizing the load of $hit we were sold about Iraq and Afghanistan to awaken me to the fact that those in power in this nation despise the military and the middle class. It is high time to demonstrate to the “elite” that we CAN survive without them; they CANNOT survive without us.
We will need the warriors at home. We’ve got enemies within we’re about to have to deal with. Thanks for saying what most of us feel. I come from a military family. My uncle thinks anybody in the military is special and deserves special treatment. He only says that because he never served and has no idea what he’s talking about. It’s hilarious.
We fought to feed the greed of the folks in permanent Washington that run the MIC... The uniparty establishment IS permanent Washington. It's controlled by the intelligence agencies- progressive liberal globalists and their counterpart are the RINOs... There isn't a 2 party system- only the uniparty... The RINOs are there to give people the illusion of choice, and to lose gracefully to the progressive liberal left. WTC7 was a controlled drop, and the Bush and Obama families are incredibly close... When I realized that, I felt absolutely betrayed... I enlisted because of 9/11...
I have three very smart grandkids who, even though offered scholarships, chose to learn welding and construction along with heavy-duty machines. They are happy and make good money with no student debt. I have another in 4 year University (their oldest brother) on a full 4 year scholarship. His younger brother's in the trades will make more than him in the end. It's kind of crazy, but they each chose their own path and are happy in their choices. I love Victor Hansen and listen to him when ever I can. This was a great video.
My Father had a welding and steel fabricating Business. He lived to be 84. RIP Herman Miller and Mother Reba passed away 9 months later. She was 82 yrs old
They would be making better money with the right 4 year degree. The data says your kid on the 4 year scholarship will make the most in his lifetime. Oh, and unlike the others he won't have a hazardous job that leaves him crippled by the time he is 60. Here is another thought, if you don't like the direction this country is headed, you need to be sending your kids to good universities to build influential careers that change things. Welders and machine operators are not the ones calling the shots in this country.
Excellent calm. My family was one of the family’s that built Yale and the fall from meritocracy is appalling let alone the journey into arrogance - and led by fools who never could have built it…. Narrow minds … thank you for this podcast

Victor Hanson was a HUGE HUGE HUGE supporter of sending us Servicemen off to Iraq to be murdered and to murder innocent poor people, a very evil man ro say the least, other than that I don't know much about him nor do I care, he's a psychopathic warmongering lunitic. Could you imagine working your entire life and that's how folks remember you, I'm a 22 year active duty military Veteran and that's how we remember him...
Michoacan Mexican Americans are workers. They know soil, rootstocks, and how to gently remove the fruit without ever compromising next year's harvest. Appreciate this interview listening as election tension rises October 20 2024. The perspective of Victor Davis Hanson is very much needed. I love the story of his 6 day re-roofing with the hispanic enthusiastic super organized and athletic team. That was absolutely exciting.
Love you guys! Common sense is so encouraging! I'm 72 and I can see Americans and the rest of the people of the earth waking up to their rights to choice! What an amazing time to be alive! I went to Selma High and graduated in 1969. My family had a grape ranch, and we experienced what Victor talked about! Thank you, Victor and Mike!
Common sense is not common any longer. People under 40 who have never picked up a shovel, changed a tire or skinned knuckles working have no understanding how close society is to crumbling.
Just retired as a 30 year electrician, commercial, industrial, some residential. After a three year hitch as a Marine Infantryman, i then got into doing , Carpenter/ laborer work first for a few year's. Then tried the electrical field. Like any trade the first few year's is hard mentally and physically, but once you start learning... you start to get confident and it makes it all worth it. No one can ever take the experience away from you! You will always have work, especially these day's. The knowledge, hard work, and pride you gain, can only be experienced...if you live it! Not an easy road... but you're very proud to have done it.
No need to choose! Assert your God-given rights and have both if them there with you! You may figure out a way to get off the island-but wait!!…. Maybe you all won ‘t want to- keep learning, discussing

I am grateful to ALL those with a public voice who speaks the truth. The truth of where we are in North America, and that we absolutely must turn this around. Now. I'm a God fearing, truth seeking prairie girl in Saskatchewan. I see this all here. My mom's friend works at a dollar store. People come in, load up their cart, do not pay and walk out. Nothing happens to these people. Our current culture is the twilight zone. I have so much respect for manly men who can build things, and fix things and basically run our society. Without you guys we would have nothing, thank you. God bless each of you guys who speak up and play a part in turning things around ❤
That is a great idea, or have a class that studies The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Federalists Papers, watch this interview and then require a well thought out paper. Yet, finding principled, thoughtful, and dedicated teachers could be difficult.
This was such an emotional episode for me. All of the men on my father’s side were working class, and all served in the military in one way or another. My father served two terms in Vietnam. His family was poor. He had no resources for college. He was drafted. It makes me feel so saddened that young, working class men have been so demonized they no longer want to serve. Though the reasons for a country entering war might vary from the justified to the nonsensical, the one uniting factor of these men is their willingness to die for their country. Although I miss him everyday, I’m relieved he did not live to see this. It brings tears to my eyes.
If I was American I wouldn't join to be honest lol. The last 10 wars were full of genocides. Not 1 country o earth has massacred as much innocent people as USA.
@@shanejones578 and @Nunya1986 I disagree - no one should be expected or forced to serve in an unjustifiable war and die for their country when the USA lies and is the aggressor. I applaud these young people for not believing the lies and justifications for unjust and unjustifiable wars.
One of the best conversations i have listened to/watched in a while. This should be mandatory viewing for the sheeple who blindly accept the bullcrap that is going on in this country.
We need our farmers & blue color hard workers. They take care of us! My mom use to say, if the mayor or garbage men left who would you notice being gone?

Super conversation, and hail from indigenous tribe from the central coast of California. My family are/were into agriculture and we raise all of our own stock, as we have done for hundreds of years, so I feel all of the emotional perspective of this guest. I have held this similar conversation with peers and strangers alike in the last year. The near future is so inflammatory that we found it very important relocate to a somewhat more rural area just because I see what's on the horizon. I am retired navy intel, so I know "things", and I still have family and friends serving on active duty, so I hope folks take precautions every day and be self and situationally aware at all times.
Note; Congress and all relevant agencies ARE doing a thorough investigation into what happened in PA! WTF is he talking about?? Fox isn’t constantly talking about it anymore either, because that’s not how the news cycle works!! Geeez Victor is such a whiner!
I love Professor Hansen, I have taken courses online and have been listening to him for years, as I do you, Mike. I am an Electrical contractor in Florida and I am 70 years old. I too have been an Instructor for our Apprentices for 7 years. My work and the people I meet in it are rewarding to know and be a part of. In the end, it is people like us that will make the difference in our future. We know the actual cause of the disease and must treat the root causes, not the symptoms to bring this country back to the special place our founders intended. God bless you all. The higher education system has been operating as a protection racket that was imported from Rome and Sicily. All that is needed is competency tests as I have taken to prove my knowledge and be licensed as a professional. Give me the resource materials to study and I will pass the exams.

I had a Great Aunt who lived in Fresno.

WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT THE GUTS TO GO IT ON OUR OWN OR ELSE BECOME A BUM.😊
@@larrybulthouse455 Most of the industry is plagued by so many issues it's not worth the squeeze. For example:
People who are running the "trade schools" are really selling product "systems," building "inspectors" demand the "systems" be used.
They don't know yet that they need the trades people the trades people don't need them
I have been trying to get my son into plumbing trade school for about a year now. lots of applicants
There is a severe shortage of plumbers where I live, and if you get one, the price is very high.

I wish you well in your goal.

Subsequently I heard on the news that large corporations were pulling out of russia including internet technology companies which left russia without internet access. Technology companies need to fix this asap.

Unlike Hannity!
Absolutely true. And one of the worst offenders and 'interrupters' is our own beloved Sean Hannity. I love Sean but can't even listen to him much anymore because he continually talks over his guests. It's to the point of being ridiculous.
And Laura Ingraham
How many young men work there?
God bless you I know it hurts. We have a great country and have great people like your family and these two men.
God bless you …from orange county
there are plenty of us depolrables that know the hard work that you do and we appreciate it. God Bless!!
Victor Hansen & Mike Rowe a great conversation...!! IMPORTANT!!
VDH + MR= common sense + sanity
I worked on my 300 acre farm nights and weekends and a full time job during the day.
So sorry for your losses. This makes me sad that people we should all appreciate and need get treated like this.. Its horrible!
Hiring is a big problem. You have to search hard for good help and train them with very clear instructions.
U need to go to s church an hire from there 😂
In California government has shown everyone that theft is ok… at least where Democrats run the government.
Were these illegals you hired?

What an insulting way to describe one of America’s most intelligent, most highly educated man we have the privilege of listening to. Your ignorance is not appreciated! JMHO
@@hummingbird275 I don't think Mr Hanson would think I was insulting him sorry you feel that way
Thank-you Mike for this great conversation.
You are dillusional or mistaken. Dr. Hanson likes neither.
America need more people like Victor, especially in politics
Watching this again with my husband. He said both of you are so brave for talking about the truth of these matters. Spot on!!!
Necessary
Can we imagine a Civil War and a Revolution, simultaneously?
Does anybody alive today know what the Second Amendment was given to us for by our Founding Fathers?
"so brave", for what? Kid cant drink a beer, but can be sent to kill in another country? Also the older dude supposed to be some big brain, but he supported war of terror in Iraq. And YOU, and your husband thinks this is awesome. For the same reason 85% of the world hates your regime
BTW most of population of those 15% of your client states despise you as well.

So proud of my hard-working, muscular, smart, rough carpenter husband. He's a great provider, honest and trustworthy. He has so much business (referral based only - no website), he's never short of work. Hoping that one day he can train our grandson in the Trade. Great guest and video. Thank you!!!

They didn't tell you that every system becomes an animal farm for one very real fact. We are animals.

They won’t be happy till the white man gone
Well said, I also feel very betrayed by all the hedonistic politicians.
I had a feeling that this meeting of the minds was inevitable, and it finally came to fruition. I can not get enough of these two. When their notifications ping I'm listening.

That was until they had to report the case live of this 12 year old boy they had initially called me about who blew his grandparents away in bed before burning down the home with them in it. Because in the middle of covering that case they had to report the news of a case of a 16 year old boy in NM who shot & killed his whole family on the same med & a 16 year old girl in ID who shot & killed her parents in bed on the same med in the same way as the 12 year old. And Mr. Hanson I have a personal task for you in the case you shared in detail of your friend so clearly determined to die. For his sake & the sake of his family would you please do everything you can to find out which of these drugs they gave him to cause him to take his life? You gave us all the reasons he had for which they would have prescribed these deadly drugs for him but what you described is called "suicidal ideation", a listed side effect I helped to get listed on these drugs. To describe what that term means all you need to do is to replace the word "ideation" with the word "compulsion". They produce a determination to die & cause you to ruminate non-stop on any & every means to accomplish exactly that! I, therefore, have little doubt by what you described that his death was caused by suicidal ideation produced by these drugs no differe t than the 21 year old Washington state girl whose case came in last year as she used a chain saw to decapitste herself. Loved ones deserve answers & I pray for the day these companies are prosecuted for pre-meditated murder with these drugs! And I use the term premeditated because they knew full well the effects before bribing the approval of these drugs & putting the right people in place to get them into the hands of an unsuspecting public - people who publicly stated that if people knew what they had done they would chase them down the street to lynch them! I say it is way past time to fulfill their own prophesy when you see the carnage from just the first decade in this database even though it should include the case of the cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer as well as he too was drugged as a fetus while his body & brain were forming: SSRIstories.net

My friend is an electrician and is having a tough time finding steady work. He is currently cleaning gutters...

I'm a God fearing, truth seeking prairie girl in Saskatchewan. I see this all here. My mom's friend works at a dollar store. People come in, load up their cart, do not pay and walk out. Nothing happens to these people. Our current culture is the twilight zone.

Thank you for a wonderful intellectual and common sense discussion. There is hope!!
Better to die a hero then live to be a villain, just ask our govt they’re about to find out.
