      @@GEMSofGOD_comthat religion is basically stories telling us how to live our lives and aren’t meant to be taken literally, but as parables and metaphors to tell us how to grow and perform inner alchemy in our own lives? That people have been believing the stories as if they all actually happened, but that they’re meant to individually teach all of us because the stories are speaking in archetypes, parables, metaphors, and symbology?

      Dr. Peterson should convert to Catholicism or Orthodoxy (in private), stop wearing goofy suits, and withdraw from the Daily Wire and become independent again. It also seems he watched too many memes of himself saying, "Depends on what you mean by x."

      Even though I somewhat like JBP, the interviewer could be a little more critical. JBP does better when there are challenges. JBP does focus a lot on the old testament and on the bad aspects of people, and he could be much more balanced there. There needs some honing in on what "Petersonian Christianity" is.

    At 75 it's unbelievable that this is NEW information to people growing up today. Our parents taught us that fulfilment was in responsibility. As people drifted farther from Biblcal Principles, that not only got lost, but was actually replaced with "get away with as much as possible", "Do as little as possible", and a general lack of accountability... ALL of which destroy a genuine sense of Purpose and Meaning. So is it really a mystery that suicide is up 600%? Not really.

    Guys invest more in your production value why is there a tripod sticking out of the corner and why are there people walking behind the window?

  • @paulscrevane
    @paulscrevane 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    you gotta close your set one you're rolling. random person passing back and forth in the window is distracting. as well as the sporadic tripod leg in the shot. camera needed to be centered, which would've hidden the tripod leg in the bottom right of your wide shot, or frame it out in the edit. let me know if you're hiring, this is what i do and i live in nyc.

    One thing I notice about Peterson that many of his critics fail to consider-even the Christians who would claim superiority over myself or Dr. Peterson regarding our personal levels of "Christ-likeness" or being a "real" Christian-is that he's absolutely fascinated with the Bible, and the story of Christ. We should not castigate those who's interest is genuine and mission is righteous.
    He's someone who I would consider to be "too smart to believe". It's a tough place to be, I can imagine.
    Actions speak louder than words, my friends.
    Thank you for saving my life, Dr. Peterson.
    [EDIT: I felt compelled to fully appreciate the interviewer's composure, genuine interest and thoughtful questions along with the insights embedded within the questions.]

    How much I like Jordan, nowadays he is more preaching than contributing to a dialogue. Also in this interview, there is no real balance and that is a pitty. His followers will like it, but it does not contribute to a better society. And that is a pitty.
