extremely good production quality and overall a very well made video, i’ve been watching dozens of monitor videos as i plan to buy one and your video is by far the best. criminally underrated youtuber u deserve way more subs and views

Another gem is your channel, which obviously needs more subs!
Thanks for the review and also the icc profile 🙏 I legit had all these three except a different model of the msi but you made it clear which was the choice, currently waiting on the ktc for my first build! Again many thanks
Thank you so much for this video, it really helped me when comparing the two in your list looking to buy.
Combined 3 reviews into one, you are a trickster, sir! Saltiness aside, thanks for another quality piece, now I'm confident in my initial decision to go with KTC. The only thing that is kinda disappointing is the contrast ratio, but the difference between your standard 1000:1ish and ~850:1 is not even noticeable, so not a big deal overall.
Wait before you buy the KTC. I have a ~800 dollar monitor from them, the M20P20 pro I think, and It's great. When it works. It is very annoying to turn off, and I often need to restart my pc because it randomly will not receive signal. That being said, It is a great monitor, but just kinda annoying sometimes.
I bought the H24T09P 4 months ago, didn't have any problem as of now, just don't use hdr even if you can because it really sucks on budget displays
@@Vex_Raven Do you know if the KTC uses true 8-bit panel or 6-bit + frc? I'm contemplating buying one on sale.
@@LastCrystal it should be real 8 bit, i checked on Google to be sure and no one talks about frc in the reviews
@@LastCrystal 8bit, of course. FRC would never achieve this level of DCI-P3 coverage and colour accuracy, not to mention that FRC is used only in cheapest and shittiest of the monitors to begin with
3 reviews into 1! Very cool and informative 👍
Thank you brother, extremely well made, succinct review and comparison.
Great in depth comparison. Thank you 🎉
Good content, I was looking for a review for budget gaming monitors and suddenly I saw this which is amazing. For the price and availability, I'll go with the Koorui.
This really helped me choosing my new monitor, since I am on a strict budget. I am very glad I have found this channel, it's a gem. I got myself two 24" KTCs with a good monitorarm and it upped my deskquality (be it gaming or work) by a lot. Though I had 10 year old 60 Hz BenQ Budget Monitors and virtually anything would have been and upgrade, i am very glad that i took the time to watch your video and get me a pair of those gems!
Weiter so!
Iink?
Ordered the KTC and heard about some quality control issues. Any feedback on the monitors so far?
@@sethgyan Been very happy with them, no quality issues on my side. Only downside I have found so far was that the screwholes for a monitormount are very short and the ones that came with the arm didn’t fit.
@@Lamarama12 Great.
My old benq is also like almost 10 year old. Only this year that it started having dead pixel. What a beast it is.
Wonderful video with actual color breakdowns. Thank you!
Very informative, thank you!
Great video man it was really well written and displayed!
I have the KTC and I love it! Has alot of input for its price range. I use it for remote playing my PS5 and have my PS3 and MacBook hooked up to it. Solid buy and will be buying a second one
how long have you owned it?
What are you using to remote play ??
Answer the questions!!
WHY ARE U NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS!??!?!??!?! ARE U LYING, ARE U DEAD, U DONT WANT TO ANSWER, U DIDNT SEE THE COMMENTS, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Are any of these 3 monitors better than the Gigabyte G24F? In terms of color, ghosting and response time? The Koorui monitor isn't available in my country, but the MSI is. The BenQ EX240 is a little too pricey.
Thank you for the video, I've decided to buy the ktc as my first gaming monitor. Also thank you for providing the icc file, that helps a lot dude
Did u get it? If so how was it?
@@zainabumer7740 it's great. I just increased the saturation and the colors pop. I mostly play colorfull games. I play on an xbox series X. 120hz feels great while playing fortnite.
@@zainabumer7740 im not sure if my reply sent, so here it is again. The monitor is great, i play mostly fortnite on my Series X and the game looks great. I increased the saturation to make the colors pop. While playing in 120ps, the game feels great. It's nice and smooth. Most games look and run great. The higher fidelity of the game, the better of course.
Best monitor reviewer on the planet without question. If this guy tells you these three monitors are his budget recommandation for these specs, then don't waste a single other second thinking or looking elsewhere, just do yourself a favor and go for these. Thank you techless 🙏
the timing is right for techless to expose that these are 648x1152 pixel monitors and so are the 27"ers issues need to be forced at 24". gaming monitor means only 648 pixels!
Glad I found this channel! Subbed 🙏
Can you review the Koorui 27E3QK? Its a 1440p 240hz IPS monitor priced at $300 on amazon. Curious how it compares to others in that price range. Thanks!
You make a good reviews. In my country the price of Msi G2412, Asus tuf VG249Q and AOC 24G2SP is around $180-196. Which one is better? Koorui costs approximately $155. I want to wait for 11.11 or New Year’s sales, and I’ll take what will be optimal in terms of price-quality ratio.
Cool channel you have man, just subscribed. If you can get your hands on Koorui GP01 I would love for you to test it. It's a cheap 24 inch Nano IPS panel with a 1440p resolution. I am just curious how would a 24 inch 1440p do, especially in RDR2 with Quality DLSS on.
Would it be possible to do a best of the cheapest for the 27in 1440p range? Great video
would you recommend the KTC over the gigabyte G24F or G24F2. For comparison I was used to a Benq XL2411P before it broke
Thanks, great review
Great video :)
Can you create a video testing budget 1440p monitors with upwards of 144Hz and preferably 27inches.
Maybe the ktc h27s17
that AOC monitor shown in the first 5 seconds is what i use as my backup incase my main dies monitor and it's 100% worth the price. highly recommend if you need a monitor quick and cheap.
Been looking at the KTC and Koorui Panels for my son, since he is on an old Samsung panel (only VGA & DVI connections) that I can barely overclock to 75hz from it's stock 60. I myself am planning on moving back to 1080p from 1440p (been running 1440p for 8 yrs) as I I want more frames in some of the titles I play and willing to take the hit in image fidelity as I will still have my Acer XF270HU as a secondary panel.
This doesn't make any sense. Fps aren't lost at 1440p unless the GPU is old and not really capable. The system should be built around the GPU first. Get a decent midlevel one, such as a 7800 XT and you can drive really high frame rates at 1440p. That card will play many games at well over 150 fps, at high quality settings for example.
if you have a little more to spend get the Ktc m27t20, its mini Led and once set up correctly its like a OLED for around 400
Will you do a review on Viewsonic vx2428? Would love your opinion on monitor and color profile. Cheers!!
I got an Onn, Walmart brand monitor for $120 once. It was shockingly awesome. Image was crisp and clean, and colors were deep with dark darks.
A few months later I got another one. Same size, same brand... It was pretty bad. What happened?
Great video! Can you also try checking the KOORUI GP01 24" 2K QHD 165hz 1ms Nano-IPS ?
Great video 👍. I'm looking at getting the MSI g244f or gigabyte g24f-2. Any chance of you reviewing these one day?

@techless Have you seen that M27QX is again in stock everywhere? Now its rev 2.0. Could you find it for review please and see if they changed anything actually? Cuz in specs there's not much of a difference.
Average response time on Asus VG249Q is? Because you tested it but there is no information in your video about panel speed?
I have the Koorui 24 in 240hz monitor and it struggles with a lot of the same brightness and color issues. It was only $120 when I bought it and was too good of a deal to pass up. I feel that with these ultra budget gaming monitors, most high refresh rate monitors will feel the same, just not the best gaming experience ever. With my monitor, I'm perfectly happy gaming at high refresh rates, but for productivity, I find myself going back to the color accurate panel on my laptop

probably not gonna look better than the laptop screen but its something
I just ordered a dell g2724d (1440p 165hz) for only £194, from reviews the contrast is good for IPS and the response time is insane (6.5ms complete transition at 165hz, 7.6ms at 120hz) with good brightness too
Currently looking at the hyperx/omen version of that but they are all sold out, probably the same pannen with a slightly better controller
Hey, great video, but I have a not-so-minor doubt. In your experience, do you consider the extra 100 nits that the MSI provides to be a very valid reason to choose it over the KTC? I mean, it's $15 more, and I don't plan on being a professional gamer or anything. Thanks!
Update: I bought the ktc, it's really good for my mid range pc 3060ti
can you review the Pixio PX248 PRO not sure if it comparable to the KtC >
im wondering how the koorui monitor can be so different in response time tests, when optimum measured a 3.5ms average and here we have 8ms or something.
great video.
can we see a test for the Pixio PX248 Pro next time ? :D
Optimum is using a very different testing methodology: 10% to 90% without gamma compensation whereas I'm using RGB5 tolerances and gamma compensation. Please don't directly compare the results.
Optimum uses trash/scam/marketing/misleading 10% to 90% tests without gamma correction, his monitor videos cannot be compared to other who do use actually good testing methodology (like Techless)

What do you think of the KTC vs the new ASUS VG249Q1RY? VERY similiar specs, I cant decide.
how about Gigabyte G24F-2, would love to see your review for the updated gigabyte monitor
How does the ktc and MSI compare to the AOC 24g2spu
Great content!
Any good ideas on what monitor to get as an external monitor for a macbook pro m2? am thinking of something 1440p, atleast 144hz, 27", that also charges the macbook with usb c
Great video! Do the settings and ICC profile you give work with HDR? i.e. Should HDR be turned on? I notice that the gamma calibration point using a test image is different when HDR is turned on - something like 1.9 compared to 2.2 with HDR turned off (using your settings and profile).
HDR is pretty much just a marketing gimmick on most monitors unless they can produce at least 600 nits, preferably 1000 of brightness.
Is the KTC H24T09P true 8 bit or 6 bit + frc?
The Koorui look amazing for his price should I get it for a laptop with an Rtx 2080 on it? I don't want 2k 1080p will work just fine for me
Hi! quick question, would the KTC be better than the AOC 24G2SPE??
Also is the longevity of ktc's monitors reliable?
sceptre makes some really great and long lasting monitors. totally anecdotal on my part, i admit. but the past 2 monitors i've gotten from them have been awesome, and one of them has lasted me 5 years, and it's still going strong.
Techless what’s a budget monitor for ps5 that you recommend ever ps5 player should get ?? A all around gem ?
Im chooseing inbetween the KTC 24" or the Koorui 24e3 24" help me choose please!
I feel like modern IPS gaming monitor crush blacks just to get better contrast. I had to return my XG27AQM 1440p 270Hz IPS because it was basically unusable in dark games like the Forrest. I even tried all the monitor's brightness, shadow boost, gamma settings but nothing helped.

AOC tend to have better quality control in my experience.
I’ve been using Sceptre for years. First a 1080p/75Hz then a 1440p/165Hz. Love them both!
thinking of buying a 32' would you recommend that one or anything else
@@InfoWarlock if you do the 32” you might want to step up to a 4k. The image might get stretched a bit on 1440p. I have the 27” curved which plenty for gaming. If you’re using it for work only the 32” is probably a better choice.

I need Help! I'm looking for a 32-inch monitor with a 1440p resolution, primarily for watching movies and possibly some gaming. It should also have a brightness of at least 300 nits. It's hard to find one that isn't very expensive.
feeling really fortunate to live within reasonable driving distance of a micro center. picked up an open box hyperx armada 25 240hz 1080p ips panel, complete with desk mount arm, for $104us. they are being advertised at $130us new-in-box. pretty sure it would review well against these choices. if you're in the market for a new display (especially in the us), be on the lookout throughout november - good deals can almost certainly be found during the black friday/cyber monday month.
how the hell
Is the msi g2422c any good I have just started on kbm and looking to order a cheap monitor it was between this and koorui 24inch monitor and got the msi. Is this a good choice?

Very helpful but why does everyone leave out the haze/glossy factor? Colours are better and images are sharper with glossy. If you play in a dim light room, you definitely will find a 10% improvement with glossy.
What do you think about this gaming monitor CRUA Curved Gaming Monitor 27 Inch 180Hz, FHD 1080P i want to share the link but it is too long ..
is this msi better than aoc 24g2sp? price difference here in my country is not that big, so i dont mind going for the higher price if one's better 🤔 i dont really know what to look for when deciding for monitors
AOC is an internal factory brand backed by the biggest monitor assembly factory in China, the thing about AOC is their sRGB preset’s brightness is locked (for whatever reason but some people believe it’s to avoid conflict of interest because TPV makes panel for big brands too), but the good thing about AOC monitors is that they’re one of the most color accurate monitors for the price. MSI on the other hand has terrible color accuracy, but if you don’t plan on gaming then you should just get the cheaper one.
Koorui, ipason is an internal brand from its panel factory, thats why they can give cheaper price compare to other brand where they sell their panel to.
the panel quality is somewhat same, the diference is their treatment to it, they kinda make it has lower quality, like lower their color accuration, etc. cus well, otherwise those brands that buy the panel from their factory will stop buy it from them.
So if u look just for gaming and watching movies those internal brand are already good enough, but for a better color accuracy for design working, editing, and aftersale service, it’ll be wiser to choose bigger brand.
That's really not how it works at all. You can't deliberately lower the quality of a panel. Koorui are cheap because they buy offbrand, slightly flawed B class panels.
@@ObakuZenCenter they dont buy off brand, they're internal's brand. KOORUI is a brand created by HKC which is 3rd largest panel manufacturer in china. They manufactured the panels and beside selling those panels to big brand they also make their own brand called Koorui.
This is true on MSI. I have MSI Optix Mag241C brightness already set to 0 while black tuner set to 9 and still too bright in the dark. 🙄
Any thoughts on Redmi G24 Monitor?
Do a Review of that ktc monitor pls
Ive got two AOC monitors, they are both great, 144hz 24g2 (1080p IPS) and a 144hz CQ27 (curved 1440p VA). The 24g2 you have to turn the brightness down on.. Whites will annihilate your eyes.
Good to see some displays of this quality at a good affordable prices, actual progress happening but at 1080p. pretty shocked by KTC coming in with so many respectable monitors, I might try the 1440p one with mini-LED
I got a 1440p 144hz 1920x1080 Omen montior for like 119 or smthn, and heard great things about Koorui as a brand.
Its definitely not a scam just make sure you look at the reviews because like this video shows if you really care about things like colour accuracy and low light performance etc some wont be for you.
Don't get a 1440p unless your gpu can handle it, if it can't you'll get lower fps and changing the resolution to 1080p might not look great on a 1440p monitor
nah my 3060 ti is fast for my use cases and 1440p dlss looks good@@unknownvidds
Only get 1440p if you're going bigger than 24"
@@ShuroiiI have to disagree, a high pixel density is worth a lot, there is a reason Apples displays look so good. I would love for there to be more 1440p 24“ screens, as they just look far sharper than FHD 24“ or 1440 27“.
