@TophaLopha1215 I''ve heard people using it for uprights but I was told that it was because of the size and the design of the inlet manifold of these boxers that makes it so effective. My guess is that it would make a difference but not as much as it does to a boxer.
Edit: Sorry, my original response was directed to Millse72's comment. Jakob, what does boost have to do with it? This Subaru upper engine clean is not done under boost pressure.
My question was completely off topic in response to someone that brought up PowerFC and might be able to answer another question that I had. I NEVER said boost had to do with anything other than knocking.
This is a good little video done exactly how Subaru describes using its genuine product. Disregard Jakobs comments on this unless you believe Subaru are out to sabotage themselves! No disrespect intended Jakob. You probably had good intentions with your advice; however it is not correct for this actual scenario. Cheers
i have used this on my jeep and volvo and works perfectly, also cleans a lot better than standard carby cleaner

you're right! my 1JZ just blew up!! :D
do you recommend spraying the whole can into the manifold while the engine is running?
Hey just noticed the PW topmount, what difference do you notice over the old one? Thinking of going the same route!
Cheers
You have PowerFC? So do I. When the Check Engine Light flashes at high boost, does that mean it's knocking?
boxer only?

What about the CAT, all that smoke has got to damage it

Sorry Jakob. My bad!
Is this legit? I've never heard of this. I'm quite interested yet very pessimistic
